What did I do? I mean I understand what the Elder means when she says that this would be good for us. I also trust her with the life of our pack, but to have them move to our town. I groan. What if they try to take us over? Thou Alpha Tate said that they just wanted more land. Turning around in my office chair to see my Beta.

"What you thinking about Alpha?" Beta

"Just worrying about the Dark Moon Pack."

"They are very by the book Alpha. I dont think we have to worry." Beta

"Has Thomas or Amanda ever heard of anything about them?"

"Just that Cam their Beta is more authoritative than the Alpha, and that this Cam is only by the books. From what's been talk around is that their Beta doesnt trust other Packs." Beta

"That's all? Atleast this Cam dude goes by the books, so I shouldn't have to be worried about an attack."

"Not an attack but He doesnt trust other packs. I wonder how he will act when he trains us." Beta

"I'm not sure. I'm still unsure of the whole thing and it's been a couple weeks of thinking this through." I groan

"Only other thing is that the Alpha and Luna have a daughter and shes a warrior for them. Theres rumors that there is another girl that is a daughter to them but I havent found a name yet." Beta.

"I guess I shouldn't worry so badly than."

"Nah. Besides... You ever think they are more worried I mean Alpha Tate is only bringing 7 wolves into our whole pack territory." Beta

"So? Why would they be worried?"

"They might even think they will get ambushed. Especially never meeting us in person." Beta

"That's why your my Beta. I never even thought of that." I groan realizing how Tate must feel and thinking i need to call him.

"I'm headed out on the hunt with the main group for our medium hunt. You gonna be good for 3 days?" Beta.

"Yeah I have Andrew if I need to talk something out one sided."

"Sounds great. Your Beta and Gamma are only used for one sided convos." Beta laughs as hes messing with me.

"Oh shut it and get outta here. I want yall back for when they get here." I growl and he bows as he walks out.

Looking back out the window I watch the pups playing with the Omega as she teaches them right and wrong. Deciding I need to make sure we both feel okay as Alphas I pick up my phone and dial Alpha Tates number. Waiting as it rings, I almost hang up.

"Cam. just do as I say!" Alpha Tate growls as he picks up the phone. Cam? His Beta doesnt just do as he says?

"Hello? Alpha Tate?" I ask unsure if hes in a good mood.

"Oh hello Alpha Ethan. How are you?" Tate says with a bounce to his step. Must be in a good mood.

"I'm doing fine. How about you?"

"Do you have pups?" he groans and I laugh quietly.

"No. Havent found my mate yet." I say keeping my voice low. I know it's odd I havent gone off to find mine but it wasnt in the cards when dad handed the pack over to me and things have just gotten in the way.

"Let me warn you. Pups are a pain even when they aren't pups anymore." he groans again making me laugh.

"The pups in our pack dont seem to bad." I say still laughing.

"Oh they never seem bad until their yours. So you said that you havent found your luna?" Tate asks the one question I wish he would have ignored.

"Um. No i have been to busy fixing my fathers mess to be able to go around to other packs or to throw a party for all packs councils.

"I understand." He states and I keep quiet unsure what next to say.

"So Alpha Ethan, other than me complaining about my pups, did you need to discuss something with me.?" Tate says.

"Yes.Um-" Before I can speak more than a few words, a vocie is speaking on the other end.

"Listen here if you two cant get along I will lock you in a damn room together until we leave so yall can quit fighting!" Tate growls out and I realize how he can be in charge of 400 members. I decide to keep quiet and let him talk to whoever is on the other end even though I cant hear the other person.

I wonder who he is speaking to. Maybe his pups? He seems to have to yell at them alot. Is that what my pups will be like? Getting lost in my thoughts before I hear a voice again.
