Chapter 1: The beginning
It was still dark when Samira woke up from her sleep. It's not because of the rooster crowed, not the ring of alarm clock, not even the loudness of someone, but a cold breeze coming outside the window. Samira stroked both her arms realizing that she was shaking while the hair on her body was all on stand. She felt nervous while thinking why the window in her room was opened. Without a second thought, she stand and walk towards the window. She looked outside and saw no people around there. Suddenly, she closed her eyes when the cold breeze hit her face. It wasn't a month of September but the breeze she feels right now seems like a breeze of winter. As she opened her eyes, she closed the window and turned back to her bed. Before she lie down, she looked at the wall clock first and was surprise to see that it was three o'clock in the morning. She felt a bit terrified reminding her father's tale about three o'clock, that it was a ghost time. All kinds of ghosts appears when three o'clock and said to be the scariest time. From that thought, she hurriedly switch on the light. She sighed and breathed at ease when she saw no ghost around. She then switch off the light and turn back to her bed. It's not the ghost she should afraid of, but the living one.
She lie down and cover a white blanket on her body. She was still cold so she was bent over while lying down on her bed. She closed her eyes and fall asleep.
Few moments later, Samira found herself in not new but not so familiar place for her, she was wearing black uniform and a black pointed heels. There are lots of student gossiping around her but she didn't understand what exactly the words they are saying. She was surprised when someone hold her hand, she looked at the person and saw a mesmerizing face. Like a man only exists in comics and a face that owned by a male lead.
"Hi, Samira! I've finally found you!" the man said. Samira's reaction was emotionless. She should be glad at this time but she can't feel that way. She want to ask something but her mouth was like being glued, she can't open it.
The man started to walk so she was also walking with him because the man was holding her hand. She rolled her eyes around her, the place was vast having huge building around. The face of a students looking at their direction was all blurred but she was sure that they were all glaring towards them. They kept walking until they stop at a place where there are lots of acacia trees. The scent of atmosphere was strong as Samira was feeling a bit dizzy. The man let go of her hand and faced her. She looked at him straight and felt something inside her was beating fast. The man gets near her, so close that she could feel the breath coming from a man's mouth. She feels like she was suffocating until the man claim her lips. She closed her eyes feeling the unknown sensation she was experiencing right now. She could feel that this was so true even she knew that this was only a dream. His soft lips, the taste of his tongue, his touch and even his moan was so true that Samira fell over and over again. When Samira was enjoying the scene, the man stopped at what he's doing. Samira wanted to continue the kiss but a ray of light hit her eyes so she opened it and found out that it was already morning. She felt a bit disappointed and regrets that she woke up.
Suddenly, Samira was thrown back on her bed when she now realized that it is her first day in college. She immediately got up and hurried down the stairs. In her haste, she suddenly slipped and she felt that this was her last moment on earth. She closed her eyes, not wanting to use her power because her family might see her and even be afraid of her. She opened her eyes and felt that she was already standing on the floor. Even if she does not want to use it, her power acts spontaneously, especially when she is in danger. She just sighed and wished no one had seen her.
She went to the kitchen, not even hungry she opened the pot. But before she could open it, she let go of the lid because it was totally hot. She wonders because the rice is just freshly cooked and hasn't been reduced yet. She wondered who cooked the rice at that time. Another is that, she is the only one who always cooks for them. She walked over to the front of the refrigerator, she was about to open it when she noticed the sticky note glued to its door. She smiled at what she read, and all the questions in her mind was also answered. Her father just cooked for her before it went to their tricycle station. She quickly went to the dining room table because there was the fried sausage cooked by her father.
She sat down and started eating. She also hastened because her mother might catch up with her later and scold her. Her mother did not accept her, in fact her mother's blood always boiled when she saw her. When she finished eating, she went straight to the bathroom. Before going inside, she reached for her towel on the hanger. When she went inside, she immediately turned on the faucet and felt the cold water gushing from her leg. The fur rose all over her body as she began to wet her legs. She wondered if she would continue to take a shower.
She was about to pour water on her body when she noticed that there seemed to be eyes around her. Until the bathroom door suddenly opened. She covered her body in shock. She was surprised because there was no one outside. She closed the door again and this time she locked it. But she was shocked to see a man standing in front of her. She cried out in shock, so loud that her family would surely wake up. But the man was quick and covered her mouth. Because of what the man did, she never shouted again. She just stared at the man's face. She didn't know but her heart was beating faster. The man's face looked like an angel, but when he entered the bathroom where she was naked, he had a demonic attitude. She looked down at the man's body and noticed its Adonis-like body. The man was wearing no clothes and was only wearing a pajama.
"Don't be noisy, I didn't mean to be here," the man whispered. But she suddenly caught up in her senses when she noticed that the man had been looking back and forth at her body. She tried to remove the man's hand from her mouth because she wanted to ask him the things that were on her mind. Suddenly, the man finally removed his hand as well. She immediately held her chest as she caught her breath.
"Who are you and how did you get in here?" Samira asked the man. She then grabbed the towel hanging behind the door and wrapped it around her body.
"You don't need to know because I also have no intention of knowing your name." She just raised an eyebrow at what the man said. In an instant she felt annoyed because the man grinned at her. She closed her eyes and counted to three and opened them again once slapping the cheek of the rude man. It is true that the man's appearance is angelic but his character is equivalent to that of a demon. But instead of seeing anger in the man's expression, he was still laughing while holding his red cheek.
"I also have no intention of knowing your name!" She recovered from him. "But if you don't say I'll scream!" After she said that, the expression on the man's face changed. The grin on man's face has now become serious. Suddenly, Samira feels worry. Aside from the fact that they were the only two in the bathroom, this man might cover her mouth again and not be able to ask for help again. Until the man suddenly approached her, so close that their bodies would almost hit. She backed away but her back hit the bathroom wall. Gradually, the man brought his face closer to hers until she could just feel their lips touching. She was statuesque in her position, she could feel the man's claim on her lips and she could do nothing but accept it with unmixed protest. She just closed her eyes, hoping that when she opened it, the man would disappear from her sight. But is that really what she wants? Until she heard a series of knocks on the bathroom door. She opened her eyes at the same time as the bathroom door opened. From there, her mother's face lit up.
"Are you the one shouting earlier?" Based on the tone of her mother's voice, her mother seemed to be preaching again. "You know that your siblings were still asleep at that time!" Her mother's eyes were sharp as it looked at her.
"I'm sorry mom, I was just shocked because of the cold water." She just reasoned. Because it's unbelievable if she says that the man was harassing her in the bathroom because the man suddenly disappeared like a bubble. She wondered and thought that the man who kissed her was a wild soul.
"My God! If you're afraid of water it's better that you don't take a bath! You're just wasting water!"
"I'm sorry mom, that won't happen again." She was about to step out of the bathroom when her mother spoke again.
"And who told you to cook the sausage I bought? Your siblings will pack it as their lunch and then you ate it all!"
"But mom, I didn't ate it all, I only ate two pieces," she explained.
"And you still arguing!" To her surprise, her mother suddenly pulled her arm and dragged her to the dining room table. "Is that what you're saying you haven't ate it all?" her mother said emphatically. It is true that there is no dish left on the table, but it is also true what she said that she only had two pieces of that. She just sighed but she did not reveal it to her mother because her mother would took it differently.
"I'm sorry mom, I'll just buy it later," she said. The only problem she has now is where to get the money she would use to buy sausage.
"And you admit it either! Just make sure you can buy it, otherwise you'll be dead!"
She did not answer to what her mother said and went up straight to the stairs. Another reason is that she might be late for her first day at university. She was just scratching her head when she was in front of her bedroom door realizing that she hasn't taken a bath yet. She slammed the door open and annoyed to go inside. Just as she closed the door, her eyes caught the man she was with earlier in the bathroom. The man was sitting on her study table while eating. Her eyes widened and she began to wonder again how this man got into her room.
"Hey! Who says you can eat here in my room?" Since the man was not looking at her, she approached where it was. She was shocked to see the sausage on the plate. Her mouth was just fell open, because of this man, her mother scolded her. "I'm asking you so talk to me!" At that moment the man turned to her. "You have thickness face and shameless to even took your food here!"
"Shameless?" the man said as if he were doing nothing wrong. "Is it bad to eat when hungry?" the man continues. "I wish I could have had enough of your lips earlier, but your mother came, so I just ate the sausage."
"Are you a wild soul?" Earlier, she had been fascinated by this man's actions.
"How handsome am I?" She just sighed at what the man said. "What if I tell you I'm an angel but son of a devil?" She was stunned by what the man said. "Will you believe?" the man continues. She just raised an eyebrow and then she laughed at what the man said.
"I would have believed that, angel? Maybe it's a devil. Because you went into the bathroom while I was naked and even stole food from our house!" She just stared at the man because the man just laughed at what she said.
"Devil?" The man still laughing. "Do you think I'm a devil?" The man stopped laughing and suddenly smiled at her. The smile was horrible. But she did not reveal that she was terrified of it.
"Yes!" she said emphatically. "So please, leave our house! If you're a wild soul or a devil, you went to the wrong house because there is no paranormal expert here with us!"
"We will meet again, I will make sure we will meet again," the man said seriously giving a shudder to her whole persona.
After that, the man came next to her bedroom window and he immediately opened it. At first the man turned to her then he jumped there. She covered her mouth and hurried to the front of the window and looked down. She breathed a sigh of relief when she saw no one lying on the road. She was caught up in her senses. Is everything that happened to her today was true? She rolled her eyes at the table where the man had eaten before, but the plate was no longer there.
But now is not the time for her to think about those things. She had to clear her mind of what had happened so that she would not lose her sanity. Later, she also took off her uniform to wear, black long sleeves and a skirt that looked above the knee. It didn't look like she was going to the funeral but she was wearing all black so it looked like that. Just as she came out of their house, her father was there on his tricycle and her father seemed to be waiting for her.
"Samira, I'm on board and I'll take you to school," her father said. The school is close to their house and she can walk by herself. But since it seemed that her father's route was there, she just rode. Another was, she was wearing black shoes with heels.
She arrived at school in less than five minutes. She also said goodbye to her father when she got off the tricycle. She was walking towards the gate when suddenly someone blocked her path.
