Chapter 7

Evelyn's POV

The show concluded unfortunately. I was having fun with the girls and I didn't want it to the end. They're the only fans I've met on tour that've liked me. I didn't want to leave them. Sammy dropped the girls off at Aimee's house and we did a group hug and I had to practically be ripped away. I walked back to the car and sat down in the passenger seat and looked out window as the house got smaller and smaller until I couldn't see it anymore. I started to cry and I don't know why..

"Hun? Is everything okay?"

I zoned out till heard him lower the radio.

"Ev? Hello?"

"Huh yeah everything's okay."

I lied.

"Tell me the truth."

Busted...

"No I'm not. I don't know why"

"Are you homesick?"

"I don't know Sam. I can't figure it out. I can't put my finger on the reasoning. Do I feel like I belong here? Should I be here? Do I miss home? What's going on with me?"

Have you been stressed lately?"

"Yes. No. Maybe. I don't know anymore"

"Okay. How about we just spend all day in the hotel room tomorrow before we leave"

"That sounds relaxing. But don't you have an interview tomorrow?"

"Not that I know of. I can't keep track anymore."

Sammy  laughed and turned the radio back up and we started to sing until I fell asleep in the car.

Sammy's POV

I can't but wonder what's going on her mind.

Is there something going on that I don't know about?

Is she stressed?

Homesick?

We got back to the hotel and I carried her to our room and tucked her into bed and made plans to fly back to Florida tomorrow. I texted her friends and had them tell her parents so she could be surprised. Maybe this will help her. After everything was set I laid on the bed and fell asleep. I woke up before Ev so I packed all our things.

"Hunny you gotta wake up"

"5 more minutes. I can miss first period Mrs. Rivers and I hate each other."

I laughed at her sleep talking about school.

"Evelyn we don't have 5 minutes. We gotta go"

Okay she's not waking up.

Time to jump on the bed.

She's gonna be mad but she needs to get up.

"WAKEY WAKEY SLEEPY CHILD TIME TO RISE!! WE BEST BE GOING!"

That worked..

"Again with this? I swear you're a child."

"Wake up we gotta go to airport."

Evelyn's POV

"The airport?" I yawned "Why?"

"I'll tell you later. Can you please get ready? Or you can go like that. We can't miss the flight. I packed everything last night"

"Okay okay I'm moving."

Why is he anxious about this?

"I thought we were gonna stay in the hotel room all day."

"Something came up. I found out when I woke up."

"Oh okay."

I got ready and we got to the airport and boarded the plane. And I still have no clue where we are going.

"Now can you tell me?"

"Nope. It's a surprise"

"Please? I'll give you muffins?"

"Nope"

Did he just- DENY MUFFINS?"

Okay who are you and what have you done with my muffin obsessed boyfriend?"

"Haha very funny."

15 minutes later of me trying to get an answer out of him I passed out.

Why won't he tell me where we are going?

And the fact he just denied muffins scares me...

Evelyn's POV

Hours later the plane finally landed. Where? That's still a mystery. I took out my headphones when I felt Sammy poking me."

"Babe why are you filming me?"

"You'll see."

"Samual."

"Evelyn."

I walked out of the gate and saw my friends and family and began crying. I hadn't seen them in months. I ran up to my family first and then my friends and I did a huge group hug. I kept repeating "I missed you!" to everyone. I'd never been away from my family or friends for this long. I felt so much better being back with everyone. I love the tour life don't get me wrong. I just needed to see them. I felt so much better as soon as I saw all their faces. Maybe this was this was the reasoning I felt upset these past few days. My parents drove me home and Sammy got into Sophie's car with the girls.
