Chapter 5

ANGELINA'S POV

"Are you okay?" He ask me, I turn to look at Clara then I ignore both of them and I rush outside of the house. I wipe all my tears making sure I don't ruin my makeup. I'm beginning to hate this woman, she can't snatch my mother's dream. I lean on Blaze car and waited for him to come outside.

"You look beautiful." He said with a smirk while standing infront of me. "Thank you", I whispered with my dry throat, I feel sick after crying and I got a headache.

"You're fine?" He place his hand on my shoulder. "My head is paining, I don't think I will be able to go."

"You are coming with me, no more excuses." He immediately opens the door for me and waited me to sit inside of the car. I simply nodded my head before getting inside of the car. He got on the driving seat.

"How's your hand?" He ask while looking infront of the road.

"There's still a little pain.."

"Just be careful next time, don't be stubborn!"

"Yes." I nodded my head because I am not in the mood to have a conversation right now.

He take the cake which he had already ordered. Even the cake is purple. How much does this girl love purple?

Arriving at the club Blaze gave the car keys to the valet, we both walk inside. The club is empty, we came earlier to make sure that everything is perfect. Except for my team, they are still working.

We put the cake on the table which we decorated before. "Perfect!" He mumble. "You love your sister so much." I whispered.

"Yes! She is my favourite person in the family, she was not here she went abroad for studying, she came back this morning. That's why I wanted to surprise her for her birthday and to welcome her." He stated.

"She is very lucky to have a brother like you." I mumble "I wish I had someone who would care for me like you." I said unknowingly. He smirked at me, "you've promised me something!" I exclaimed.

"What?" He ask with stitches brows.

"That you will be with me during the whole party." I said teasingly.

"Yes, I still remember." He approached near me and he hold my hand. "Now we will be together." He said.

"Not like this! I mean you can leave my hand."

"I need to be sure that you are safe and many people will be here whom you don't know, I don't want you to feel uncomfortable." He said while showing his concerns.

"I will be fine, don't worry about me."

He leans down and places a light kiss on my cheek, I smile at him. "Don't be too romantic with my sister!" We heard Brent's voice.

"Hey you're not late at all." Blaze said teasingly while taking a look at his watch. "How can I be late?" He said with a little nervousness.

"What makes you so nervous Brent?" I ask him. "I want to tell Lea that I love her!" He stated.

"You can tell her but, if only her brother is ok with that.." I mutter while throwing a glance at Blaze.

Blaze nodded his head, "he can date my sister I don't have any problem.."

"Even you can also date my sister I don't have any problem!" Brent said playfully, "BRENT! stop it." I shouted.

Blaze looked at me with lust in his eyes full of desire, as if he wants to say something but he can't. "I think he is right!" Blaze whispered near my ear. I shook my head, "I don't think it's a good idea!" I whispered back.

"Why?"

"Let's talk after the party.." I stated.

"Ok, I will be waiting for your answer." He said coldly while leaving my hand and then he walk toward Brent. I have no idea what I will be doing in this party! I didn't  wanted to show up, but Blaze was insisting.

I approached to the bar and I seated on the long stool. "Anything ma'am?" The bartender ask me. I shook my head, "no thank you." I remain seated for a long time until the club was emerged with many peoples. Even the music was playing in the background. I begin to feel myself uncomfortable in this crowd. I try to search for Blaze but I can't spot him. All the lights are purple all I can see is purple faces!

After some minutes later they turned off the music when a group of girls entered inside the club and all the lights were suddenly off. I can only listen people's voices. And then after some seconds, I heard everyone applauding and cheering. They lights came back and there Blaze was standing with a bouquet of flowers, infront of his sister. "Surprise!" He said with a bright smile. Without wasting time Lea hugged him tightly and he lifted her around his arms.

"I wish even my brother would do all these for me!" I whispered to myself while looking at them. They were both behaving childish, they really love each other.

After being bored for about one hour, I decided to move from this place, I don't know anyone and someone promised me that he will stay with me! But he is no where to be found. I can understand, he is busy. I walk around the club then I decided to go in Brent's office. I'm sure I will relaxed there. I take the stairs which leads to the office. I unlock his door with my finger print.

His office is the same as mine, there's a big window which gives the view of the whole club. I stand at the window and I admire the party from the office itself. And then I spot Blaze, it seems like he is searching for someone. He looks distracted by himself, he kept ignoring everyone who is trying to talk with him. After walking round the whole club, he take out his mobile phone from his pocket. Why he seems to be so disturbed?

My phone begin to ring, I smile after seeing the caller ID, he was searching for me! I giggle at the phone on my hand, then I slide the screen. "Hello."

"Where the hell are you?" He shouted through the phone.

"At home." I teases while trying to hide my laughing.

"What the hell? Why did you left!" He said coldly while running his hand trough his face. "Why you are being so disturbed? Behave yourself, it's your sister's birthday." I stated while watching him from the window.

"Wait..." he lifted his head up and he glances at the one sided window. Then he hang up and he climbed up the stairs until I heard a knock at the door. I went to open it, opening it he walked inside and he pin my back on the wall.

"You made me scare!" He whispered coldly with his face inches away from mine.

"Why?"

"I thought you've leave. I was searching for you.." he stated with a relief expression.

"Can you pull away!" I added.

"Sorry.." he immediately pull himself away from me.

"I was being uncomfortable.."

"You could have called me."

"No, I didn't wanted to spoil your happy moment with your sister." I stated.

"Come, Lea wants to meet you." He mumble, "I promise to stay with you this time."

"Ok fine, let's go." I don't understand why he is being so obsessed toward me! I feel safe when am around him. I have never felt this way before. It feels nice, he is always concerned for me. But still I don't want to get attached with him. All girls are after him, even he seems to be chasing the girl. How can I forget that his bride run away! I don't know the reason why she did that, was it Blaze's fault?

"Lea!" Blaze shouted through the loud music. He is holding my hand right now, making sure I don't run away this time. I feel some gazes on us, people was staring weirdly except for the girls! That's why I didn't wanted to stay with him.

She came out from the crowd with a bright smile on her face. She is pictured as the most happiest lady in the world and wait..she is wearing the same dress as me. That's mean Blaze has brought the same dress for Lea too.

"Angelina right!" She said while giving me a hug. "Yes, happy birthday."

"Thank you, I'm so happy to meet you, oh wow..our dress are the same design. Blaze you've got us the same dress." She pointed at Blaze with a bright smile. Her actions can simply tell me that she is not jealous at all.

"I can't betrayed my love once, I loved this dress and I wanted both of you to wear the same design." He stated, why he mentioned 'his love.." I'm just his friend what does he mean.

"Angelina you look gorgeous!" Lea complimented. "Not more than you!" I respond with a smile.

"I was waiting for you to cut the cake." She said. "Why?" I said hesitantly, why she was waiting for me?

"Blaze told me, if you were not here today, this party would've been incomplete! Thank you for everything." She said.

"Oh it's okay.. " I smile.

"And yes I really love the decorations of the table!" She said joyously.

"Thank you Lea."

"Let's cut the cake." She held my hand and she leads me till the table and Blaze was following us. She stands behind the table, infront of her birthday cake.

"I need both of you to stand beside me." She said while pointing at me and Blaze which made me shocked, why she wants me to be with her?

"Let's go." Blaze said with a smirk. We both stand beside with Lea in between of us. She blow the candles and she cut her cake. She made Blaze eat the first bite then she offered me the same peace which Blaze bitten.  I couldn't refuse but take a small bite from it.

Finally the party is over everyone begin to leave. Brent told Lea that he has feelings for her and even she feels the same thing toward Brent, the happy couple.

Blaze is still with me. "I should leave too." I tell Blaze. "I'll drop you.."

"My car is still in the parking!" I added.

"Its quite late, you seems to be tired also." He mumble while meeting my gazes.

"I can manage."

"Let's go outside first, we needed to talk right?" He said with lifted brows. Oh God! He still remember.. I nodded my head and we both walk outside of the club.

"So, why you think it's a bad idea to date me?" He questioned.

"Blaze, you are always surrounded by girls! And how can I forget that you have a dark secret! Which you hide from the whole world for almost two years." I stated and I think my words just hit him hard. His face suddenly became pale, he smirked and shook his head.

"You're right! I think we should leave."

"Blaze sorry if I've just hurt you!" I feel sorry for what I've just told him.

"Before coming here your step mother was fighting with you! You need to keep an eyes on your house first before judging me by my past!" He said coldly, I swallowed the guilty down my spine. I don't have anything to add... but just one thing.

"You're secrets will only kill you...as far for my family, I know how to deal with them. Goodbye..." I turn around making my way to the parking area. When I felt someone grabbed me by my waist, I turned around to see Blaze with a cold face. He held me tightly around his arms. He leans in and he place a kiss on my lips then he pulls away.

"Goodbye simply means that we'll meet again..soon!" He stated with a devilish smirk and he leave me.

"How dare you to kiss me?" I whispered with gritted teeth.

"Who the hell are you to judge my past!" He said coldly with clenches jaw.

"

Its impossible to argue with you." I ignore him and walk to the parking area, I get inside of my car.

I lean my forehead on the steering for some seconds.

"Why did his words hurt me when I don't feel nothing toward him?"
