“Okay. Everyone open your books page 69 now.” Mrs. Qui says. Zoe groaning in lazy and put her head on the table. Chloe just shakes her head amusedly.

She knows her friend is not a study person. They have to finish this year of high school. Damien was also told Zoe to study hard. Zoe is smart but sometimes she didn't want to use it because she lazy.

“Zoe, I heard your groaning. ” Mrs. Qui says.

“Because it is bored.” Zoe says with a bored tone.

“I don't care. Just open.” Mrs. Qui scolds her. Zoe rolled her eyes and sit up properly.

“Like I want to pay attention to you.” Zoe mutters. Chloe heard it and she giggles.

“I hope I can get out from here.” Zoe says.

“Study.” Chloe told her.

“How about eat?” Zoe asks.

Chloe looks at her with big eyes.

“Don't even think about it. ” Chloe glares at her.

“What? Don't tell me you think I want to make you escaped school?” Zoe asks. Chloe nods with a glare. Zoe gasp dramatically and close her mouth. She shakes her head.

“I can't believe that my friend thinks that way...” Zoe says while wiped her fake tears. Chloe let out a laughed and turn her attention at the teacher.

It breaks time so every student went to eat. Chloe and Zoe went to the cafeteria. She can feel eyes staring at her with full of hate and disgusting. Everyone believes with her ex-crush. Chloe looks down while followed Zoe. Since she is hated by everyone, she almost wants to kill herself but thank god, Zoe and Damien appeared in her life. The reason why everyone hates her is, her ex-crush makes a fake story about Chloe.

He told everyone that Chloe always having one night stands with a guy, then going to the club and sell her body everywhere and bullied people. What stu*id here is, everyone believes it. Except for Zoe who always by her side.

Zoe is the only one who didn't believe with that fuc*ing rumors. And the terrible thing that her ex-crush does is, he told everyone about her family conditions. Chloe doesn't know how to react. The person that she loves betrayed her.

"Chloe, I will buy the food for you.” Zoe smiles. She nods and sits at the place that they choose. Zoe walked away and leaving Chloe. She didn't dare to look around or make eyes contacts with everyone because she knows she is staring at right now.

“Hey, slut.” Suddenly, one voice comes. Chloe lifted her gaze and saw a bunch of girls look at her.

“I heard that you work at the club as you know. Pleasure thing for a guy?” She asked. Chloe grips her skirt tightly. It is not true at all. Why everyone keeps believing in that while there is no evidence about it at all.

“Silence? Then, I take that as yes even you said no." She says. Chloe holds her tears back.

She is weak but she doesn't want to show it. Zoe finally finished buying their food. Suddenly, she saw the table that Chloe sit just now is being crowded by a bunch of girls. She knows something happens. She rushes to them and pushes them aside with her shoulder. Before she talks, she put down their food at the table.

“Okay, barbie doll. Don't you dare to say a word or lay a finger on her.” Zoe warns them with a fake smile. That girl scoffed and smirked at her.

“This slut don't deserve your kindness, Zoe. Why you protect her? Or...you are one of her friend slut also?” She asked. Her friend bursts into laughter and the same with everyone.

Chloe can't do anything but sit. Suddenly, Zoe punches her with full of strength. That girl fell on the ground. Everyone silence after that.

“Aaahhhh, what a pain you are, Philip. You hurt my knuckles you know.” Zoe says with a blank face. The girl holds her face with tears on her eyes. Chloe went to Zoe.

“A-Are you okay?” Chloe asks with full of concern.

“I'm okay, Chloe. You know what? you should feel glad because my knuckles did not break by you. If it broke, I will break you too.” Zoe says with a serious face. Her friends help her up and the teacher comes.

“What's going on here!?” He yells.

“She..she punches me!!” Philip yells with fake tears. The teacher glare at their both while Zoe just scoffed and rolled her eyes.

“BOTH OF YOU, GO TO PRINCIPAL OFFICE NOW!!!” He yells.

“No need to tell me. I really want to go from see this fake drama. ” Zoe scoffs.

She grabs her food and throws it at Philip. Chloe just stands there because she knows if Zoe mad, don't even interfere.

“Yah!!!” Yelling Philip. Now, she showering with milk and soup and rice and vegetables. Zoe gives her a satisfied smile.

“ZOE!!! THAT ENOUGH!! GO NOW!!” He yells.

“I know I know, old man. Come on Chloe.” Zoe says.

She grabs Chloe hand and dragged her out. Zoe felt relief after doing those things toward Philip. She holds it for a long already. Who didn't want to protect their best friend right? Chloe is too fragile and soft. Zoe knows she needs to take care of her.

“So, you both fighting with innocent students? I call it bullying.” Mr. Black asks.

“Bullied? Seem like every teacher is stu*id enough. Same with every student here.” Zoe asks. Mr. Black slammed the table and it makes Chloe flinched.

“Watch your mouth!!! Zoe!!! ” Mr. Black yells. Chloe just looks down while biting her lips in nervousness.

“I can't believe you do this thing!! Punched the innocent student without any reason!? If Philip jaw broke and send to the hospital, you can be in jail you know!!!” Mr. Black says. Being in jail? Zoe just looks calm and annoyed because of this principle. Why they didn't watch the CCTV? Why they just don't check it first before making any move?

“I don't care. As long as my friend here is safe.” Zoe says. The principal looks at Chloe.

“Chloe, you bring Zoe into this mess and you make her into a badass!! ” Mr. Black. Now he blames Chloe for it. He thinks Zoe becomes like this because of her. Chloe didn't do anything.

“You having a sex life and now you want to drag Zoe down also-” He is cut by Zoe.

“ENOUGH!!!” Zoe yells while standing up.

“Are you a smart principal or are you, stu*id principal!? I preferred stu*id because it suits you. I warn you, don't ever say a bad thing about Chloe.” Zoe says. Her hands already clenched into a fist.

Mr. Black tries to hold his anger. He really hates these two students. He can't expel them because they are great students here.

“I will call Damien to pick you up. I want you two to rewind back what you just did." Mr. Black says. He knows she has a relationship with Damien because he has a friend with Damien once.

“Like I want. Because I know it not our fault. ” Zoe says.

Chloe who sit there quietly and didn't say any single words. Why it has to be like this? Why everyone don't believe with them? It hurt when we being blamed for any reason. Zoe just went out while dragged Chloe along without any order from Mr. Black.

They pack their stuff and grab their backpack. They went out and wait for Damien.

“Sorry about before, Chloe. ” Zoe says. She knows Chloe doesn't like violence.

“It okay, Zoe.” Chloe says. She gives her friend a sweet smile. Zoe put her arms around her shoulder.

“Come on, you must be tired right?” Zoe asks. Chloe holds her chin for a moment and nods.

“I am. I'm exhausted from all of this.” Chloe says.

“Me too. Let's ask Damien to buy us food.” Zoe says. She nods agreement.
