"How'd meeting the future step family go?" Harry asked as soon as he caught up to me

"It was fine, I guess" I answered with a shrug

"Doesn't seem fine to me" Harry asked as he waved at Oliver and Noah.

"I told you, I don't want my dad to get married" I answered.

"Dude you sound like a proper kid" Oliver said as he and Noah stood in front of me.

"Whatever" Noah said "Anyways, is your soon to be step sister hot?"

"Guess we'll find out at the wedding then" Oliver whispered at Noah

"That's in a couple of months" Noah answered in a whisper but was loud enough for me to hear

"Yeah, our dear friend here is planning on sabotaging his dad's wedding" Harry said as he wrapped his arm around me.

"Thought you liked Katherine? She's a MILF" Noah said, earning a glare from me. I don't want her to marry my dad but in some ways, I still liked her.

"I'm still trying to figure it out" I answered. Before anyone else could ask another dumb question, I see Penelope approaching. "I'll see you guys later"

And without waiting for their answers I start walking away and over to Penelope's locker.

"Hey" I said as I leaned on the locker beside hers

"You didn't answer any of my texts last night" Penelope said in a serious tone without looking at me.

"I know, I'm sorry. I fell asleep" I answered. She pursed her lips before closing her locker to face me.

"You could make it up to me?" She answered with a flirty smile, making me smirk.

"Thought you were supposed to host this year'w party?" I asked Oliver, since he's the head boy.

"I was, but mum and dad moved their vacation date" Oliver answered before taking a forkful of mash.

"So who's hosting it then?" Harry asked

"Guess who" Noah answered, and as if on cue, Eric, one of the popular kids who was running for head boy next year entered the cafeteria.

"He really thinks he's gonna be head boy next year just because he's hosting this year's party, huh?" I asked

"Not if we do something totally mindblowingly bonkers" Harry said as he took a sip from drink.

Soon, classes ended for the day.

After dropping Penelope home, I headed to my own house.

Like a usual day, Maria and William were running around the house and their nanny were chasing after them.

"Hey, grandma" I said as I entered the living room and planted a kiss on grandma's cheek "Where's dad?"

"Hello my handsome boy" she answered. "Doing some work in his office. Dinner will be ready shortly sweetheart"

"Ok I'll just bring my bag up" I said before heading up to my room.

After half an hour had passed, I went back downstairs and headed to the dining room.

"When is Katherine and Sadie coming here? I already miss Katherine" grandma asked, making me subconsciously roll my eyes.

"On the weekend, mum. Katherine wanted to spend some alone time with Sadie first." Dad answered

"Oh alright" grandma said "Hopefully we could start planning the wedding soon"

"Agreed" dad answered before grabbing his glass of water and drinking it.

Before I knew it, it was the end of the week and I was a summer away from being a senior.

"See you later?" Penelope asked as soon as I pulled in front of her house.

"Yeah" I answered. Penelope smiled and got out of the car and I drove off.

As soon as I got home, Katherine's car was parked outside which meant she was here.

Sadie was here.

Everyone was already in the living room, apart from Maria and William.

"Sweetheart, you're finally home" Grandma said as she attempted to stand up to hug me.

"Yeah, but I'm leaving in a bit" I said before giving grandma a kiss before my eyes landed on Sadie, who flashed me a smile then Katherine got up and walked over to me.

"Hello dear" Katherine said as she hugged me

"Where are you going?" Dad asked

"Just.. a get together with my friends" I answered

"Why don't you bring Sadie?" Dad suggested, making me glance at Sadie who was also caught off guard.

"Me?" She asked

"Oh, that will be perfect! You could get to know each other. Anyway, Sadie is not doing anything right now" Katherine added.

"I'd have to get ready first, though" Sadie said

"No rush. I'll just get ready then I'll drive you to your house so you could" I told her.

"It's settled then" grandma said. I smiled at them before heading upstairs.

I was definitely gonna get to know Sadie.

It took me only half an hour to get ready since I only had to shower.

And basing on experience, it took girls a lot longer to get ready so I was gonna let Sadie take her sweet time to look her absolute best for tonight.

"You ready?" I asked as I got back to the living room.

"Let's go" Sadie answered as she got up and kissed Katherine and grandma goodbye.

"Be safe!" Katherine reminded

"I know!" Sadie answered and we were out the door.

The car ride was quiet as we drove to Katherine's house.

"Do you want me to wait here?" I asked as soon as I pulled in front of her house.

"Nah, you could come inside. Save gas" She said as she got out and I followed suit.

I started to look around and sat down the couch as Sadie ran upstairs.

There were several pictures of Sadie and Katherine, especially when she was a baby.

I got up and walked over to an old piano and stared at the framed photos on top.

The first photo was Sadie when she was around four or five, and she was grinning so hard while holding a couple of flowers.

The second photo was of Katherine hugging Sadie.

The third photo was of Sadie and a man who had his arms around Sadie's shoulder. The man had brown hair and a thick beard. And even though they had different color of hair, you could see the resemblance between them just by their smiles.

This must be Sadie's dad. The one she's living with back in the US.

I sat down the piano and opened it and started playing the keys to see if it was still working.

When I was sure that it was working, I started playing random songs that I knew.

"Didn't know you could also play the piano" Sadie said, making me turn to face her.

"Uhh.. yeah. Well. They said get to know each other right? That's one thing you now know about me" I answered

"Nice" Sadie said. I smiled at her and I couldn't help but give her a one over.

She was wearing a black tank top, a cardigan, and denim shorts. Her hair was damp and I'm pretty sure she had no make up on yet since some of her freckles were so evident, and yet, she still looked so good.

"Are you ready?" I asked

"Hell no" she answered "I just wanted to come and tell you how good you play. I still have to do my hair and makeup"

"Like I said, take your time" I said. She nodded and headed back upstairs.

After a couple of minutes, she got down the stairs as soon as she appeared, everything slowed down.

She had her hair curled and she was now wearing make up.

Needless to say, she was even more drop dead gorgeous.

"Is this fine?" She asked as she twirled for me

"Yes" I answered before clearing my throat.

"I know I do. I could see the drool on your lips" she said before slapping my cheek lightly and walking past me.

Wait. Did she just flirt with me?

I started driving, trying to stop myself from being distracted from the hot girl sitting beside me.

I guess I wasn't doing a good job because as soon as we passed by the intersection, I remembered something.

"Shit" I muttered before turning around

"What? What is it?" Sadie asked

"I... we gotta pick up a friend first" I said as I turned left and drove straight until we stopped in front of Penelope's house.

She soon got out of the door and started to head towards the front seat, but was shocked as soon as she opened the door.

"Oh. Hi" she said

"What's up" Sadie said as she smiled at Penelope

"Sadie this is Penelope. My... friend" I said, making Penelope look at me. "Penelope, this is Sadie. Katherine's daughter"

"Okay" Penelope said before closing the door and heading to sit at the back.

For the next ten minutes, Sadie and Penelope were just talking like they were old buddies.

Soon, we arrived at Eric's house.

We all got out of my car and walked towards the house.

"I'll catch up with you guys later, ok?" Penelope said before facing Sadie "See you soon!"

"Come on, I'll introduce you to my friends" I said as I lead Sadie inside.

And as expected, everyone was staring at the hot redhead girl that was with me.

Soon I found my friends. And I knew exactly where they were because Harry's voice was so loud you'd know it was him a mile away.

"Hey" I said, making the three stop to look at me before their face fell and they were now staring at Sadie.

"This is Sadie. Katherine's daughter" I said before facing Sadie "These blokes are Harry, Noah, and Oliver"

"Hey, nice to you meet you guys" Sadie said.

"Archie was definitely not lying when he said you were hot" Harry blurted out, which made the three of us elbow him. "Ow! What?"

"Uhh.. thanks?" Sadie said, completely flustered before turning to look at me and back at them.

"In my defense, I never said that" I said, making the three contort their faces like I just said something incriminating.

"So you think I'm ugly?" Sadie asked, making the three suck in air.

"What? No. That's not what..." I got cut off with Sadie laughing out loud.

"Come on man. I was just messing with you. Of course I know I'm hot" Sadie said

"I like you already. We are gonna get along" Harry told Sadie as he handed her a cup of beer.

Oh boy. This was gonna be one hell of a night.
