"What are you thinking about?" Penelope asked as she drew circles on my bare chest.

It was 7am and all I could think about was what was waiting for me when I get home.

After dropping Sadie off, I decided to head to Penelope's for the night.

I know, it was an asshole move to sleep with her while I had been thinking about Sadie the entire night.

"The wedding planning starts today" I tell her. Now that summer vacation had started, it was officially also the start of the wedding planning.

Dad and Katherine decided to get married by the end of summer and they had a hundred and four days of summer vacation to do all that.

"You're still really against your dad getting remarried huh?" Penelope asked. Obviously.

"Yeah. I'm still planning on how I'm gonna stop that from happening though" I nonchalantly answered. Penelope stopped drawing circles on my chest then she sat up.

"What?"

"What?" I asked back

"You're planning on stopping your dad from marrying? Why?" She asked

"You know why" I said, sitting up as I rubbed my eyes.

"Don't you want your dad to be happy again? You know how miserable he's been for years" Penelope said, making my blood boil.

Not about what she said, but because I was hungover and I really didn't need to hear this.

So I got up.

"Look. I am extremely hungover right now, so I don't need an argument with you to make my head hurt even more" I said as I started putting my clothes on.

"Fine. Lock the front door when you leave" she said as she turned around so her back was facing me.

I sighed.

Penelope knew what we were doing and telling me what to do was not a part of it. She wasn't my girlfriend and she should know her place.

I drove home and slowly crept my way back inside the house.

"Good morning Archie dear" grandma said from inside the kitchen, completely stopping me from going upstairs.

"Good morning grandma" I said as I walked over to her and gave her a kiss as she sipped on her teacup.

"You're home quite early. And you reek of alcohol, go shower" she said, making me laugh.

"Will do" I said before finally heading up to my room to shower and change and get a bit of sleep before everyone gets here.

It was boring as fuck.

The parents and grandma, along with the people in charge of taking care of everything related to the wedding were talking, and William and Maria were busy playing.

Meanwhile, the only person I wanted to play with was sitting across from me, scrolling through her phone.

Sadie was wearing an off shoulder top with strings that tied in front if the top and a skirt.

As I eyed her down, she looked up at me and flashed me a smile.

"You bored?" I asked

"Sooo bad" she answered as she placed her phone on her side. Now she was giving me attention.

"You wanna go do something not boring?" I asked

"What did you have in mind?" She asked as she leaned forward. I smirked and got up and tilted my head, signaling her to follow me up to my bedroom.

Sadie bit her lower lip as she smirked then she got up and followed me.

As soon as we got to my room, I turned my neon lights on to purple and Sadie sat on the edge of my bed.

"You comfortable?" I asked

"Very" she answered as she looked up at me and smiled "So, what do you wanna do?"

"I was gonna suggest strip poker, but I have no idea how to play poker" I told her

"Well" she said, "how about I give you a head start on the strip part?" she added before taking her top off, revealing her bare chest, then her skirt, so now she was only in her bottoms.

"Holy fuck" I muttered, and Sadie just smirked.

"Your turn" she said seductively, prompting me to mindlessly start taking my clothes off.

That is, until there was a knock on the door.

Which made me wake up.

To realize that I was only dreaming.

"Archie! Archie!" Maria and William shouted from outside as they continued to knock on my door.

I sighed and got up to open it to reveal my two annoying twin siblings.

"What is it guys?" I asked as I knelt down so I was on their eye level.

"Everyone was looking for you so they asked us to come get you" William answered.

I sighed again. Even though my wet dream was cut short, I could never gonna get mad at these two adorable twins.

"Okay, I just need a few minutes and then I will be downstairs" I answered

"Then will you play with us?" Maria asked

"I promise" I answered, making the two cheer as they run back downstairs.

The parents and grandma were all sitting downstairs, but there was no sign of Sadie.

"Oh, there you are" grandma said, briefly stopping the conversation they were having as soon as she saw me "I've been trying to wake you up for breakfast but you wouldn't answer the door"

"Sorry" I answered

"No matter. Maria and William are outside with Sadie" grandma said as she waved at me dismissively.

I nodded and headed towards the kitchen so I could go to the backyard, before hearing faintly the conversation they were having.

"It has been six months dear, why isn't your house sold yet?" Grandma asked

"I know, it is frustrating me to say the least" Katherine answered.

"Well, no matter. You and Sadie should start moving in here" Dad said. I shrugged it off and headed outside to see Maria and William giggling as they ran off to hide, while Sadie was standing near the door covering her eyes as she counted to ten.

"...8, 9, 10. Ready or not, here I come" she said. She was about to start walking away when she noticed me a couple of feet away from her.

"Do you want me to help you find them? I know where they hide all the time" I told her.

"Sure" she said "Although, I could hear the ladder up the tree house from here so I guess its safe to assume that they're there?"

"You know it" I answered and we started walking towards the bushes first.

"Maria, William. Where are you?" I said as we approached the bush.

"Gotcha!" Sadie said to the empty bushes.

"They're not there! Wherever could Maria and William be, Archie?" Sadie said, making the two giggle a bit louder.

"I don't know Sadie. They must be behind that tree" I said as I pointed to the tree where the tree house is built.

We walked over to it and pretended to be surprised that they weren't there.

"They are really good at hiding, don't you think?" Sadie said out loud.

"Of course they are. I always lose when we play hide and seek" I said out loud as well.

"I guess we'll just have to look for them inside the house" Sadie said before placing her index finger in front of her lips and signaling us to quietly go up the stairs of the tree house.

"Are they gone?" We heard William whisper before we popped our heads inside the tree house.

"Gotcha!" We both said in unison, completely startling the twins as they giggled out loud.

"I knew we'd find you here" I told them

"Now come on. We don't want anyone falling" Sadie said as she got down the ladder followed by me assisting the two down.

As soon as we were all on the ground, dad popped out of the back door.

"Kids, lunch time" he said, prompting the twins to start running towards dad who greeted them with a hug and carried both of them back inside.

"So" I began as me and Sadie started walking "You're selling your house? The one we went to yesterday?"

"I wish I could say we were" Sadie answered "It has been half a year and nobody would buy it"

"Why though? That's kind of weird" I answered

"Yeah, no shit" Sadie replied "I don't know. I guess there were surrounding stories about that house where people said that my grandparents used it for a cult or something. But personally, I think my mum's brother and his wife are just trying to sabotage it"

"Why?" I asked

"It's a long story. Anyways, my dad's coming for the wedding and he's gonna help do legal stuff for the house so we could finally sell it" Sadie said.

"Is your dad a lawyer?" I asked

"Yeah" she answered "Although, he's practicing law in the US now but before he moved there he was a lawyer here. So I guess he knows what to do here"

"You're gonna have to tell me how he and your mum met sometime" I told her

"Yeah. Some time" she said as she smiled and we went inside for lunch.

I smiled, before pausing.

"You coming?" Sadie asked as soon as she noticed that I stopped.

"Yeah, I just have to ring someone" I told her. She nodded and headed towards the dining room and I headed back outside and took my phone out.

"What?" Noah said, who sounded like he just woke up upon answering my call.

"You weak mother fucker. Are you hungover?" I asked

"Aren't you?" Noah asked back, making me roll my eyes.

"Anyway, isn't your dad a Private Investigator?" I asked

"Uhh, yeah. Why?" Noah asked

"Can you tell him I want an appointment with him?" I said "I need to talk to him"

This seemed to cure Noah from his drunk state that he started to sound normal.

"Why? Are you ok? Who are we beating up?" Noah asked. That idiot.

"No, I just..." I began "I just need a bit of help with a plan I'm making"
