Chapter 4 : You'll Do As I Say

And when she locked eyes with him she swallowed so hard. His eyes were pitch black and that was not a good sign of werewolves.

His eyes were supposed to be yellow not black, meaning he was very angry and she had gotten on his bad side.

Jayden had never had anyone talk back to him in that way, insulting him right to his face and his park members, more especially coming from his mate, a weak human in that matter.

This was the first time and, for a human, she had a sharp mouth that could get her into trouble.

He had ordered two of his warriors to go get her inside the house but they had wasted a lot of time there and he ordered his Beta to go look at what the matter was.

They must not have gotten to the wrong house. He was sure that this was the house his mate lived in. But just as Ryder, his Beta, stepped out of the car, he saw one of his warriors carrying her over his shoulder and the girl was struggling to free herself.

Finally, they left the girl to be on her own and he watched her as she glared at every one of his warriors, even Ryder, when he heard her say something he didn't expect her to say.

“ Well, where is your stupid Alpha and let me give him a piece of my mind ”, She said with crossed arms and he frowned.

Did she just call him ‘ stupid ’ ?

A mere human like her just called him stupid ?

He clenched his fist as his knuckles turned white in anger. He held himself back from stepping out of the car and rushed towards her to teach her a lesson.

Whether mate or not, human or not, he was going to show her who was superior to the other.

And then he saw her stare right at him as though she was seeing him, but he knew she couldn't because of the dark tinted glass of his car and he growled at her when he heard her insult him again.

“ I know you can hear me you dimwit, just get out of the f*cking car ”she said and immediately his bright yellow, slit eyes turned pitch black as his anger had reached its limit.

What audacity !!!

She had the guts and effrontery to call him ‘ stupid and a dimwit ’ right in front of his face and his park members.

Did she know the kind of person she was dealing with ?

He was an Alpha !!

A supreme one at that.

Humans and their sharp tongues, but then this girl had no fear at all. Even while she was surrounded by ten Werewolf warriors and his Beta, she still had no fear.

“ Useless bunch Werewolves and useless Alpha ” He heard her hiss and scoffed as she turned around and began to walk away, storming her feet back to the house, but he wasn't going to let her just walk away like that, not after hurting his pride.

He immediately opened the door and stepped out of the car with his tall and huge body shaking in anger. His fists were clenched and his knuckles were as white as snow.

His pitch-black eyes were staring down at her angrily and he saw her looking up at him with parted lips. It was obvious that she was now scared of him as the Alpha she had just insulted was now standing face to face with her.

Muna was fascinated by his gorgeousness but at the same time she was scared of him and she swallowed all the words she was planning to lash out at him.

O. M. G !!! She had not expected him to be this tall with the domineering aura along with pitch-black eyes which was a bad sign of a Werewolf, especially their Alpha.

Muna knew that she had gotten on his bad side.

What to do now ?

Meanwhile, inside the car, Dexter, the Gamma and panicked when he saw their Alpha got out of the car in an angry state.

“ Oh no this is not good ”he said to himself, and he, mind-linked Ryder before things got out of hand.

[ Ryder does something to not let Alpha hurt his mate ]

[ Are you out of your mind !!! Jayden is not in his right mind now. Besides, he's not going hurt his mate as it's the same as hurting himself ] Ryder's mind linked him back.

[ I didn't expect their first encounter with each other to turn out like this ] Dexter said through the mind link.

[ Well, the girl has a sharp mouth. ]

Before Dexter could say anything again, in the blink of an eye, they watched as their Alpha rushed towards the vulnerable young girl and grabbed hold of her fragile neck in a tight grip with his height towering over her.

“ F*ck... I thought you said he wouldn't hurt his mate ”, Dexter said as he got out of the car.

“ Jeez Dex, why don't you go and separate him from his mate, huh ” Ryder said, sneering at him.

On the other hand, Muna hadn't expected the Alpha to attack her with such speed. She used both her hands to push his strong hands away from her neck, but it was all to no avail.

She could feel herself choking but the Alpha didn't look like he was going to release her any time soon.

Was this how she was going to die ?

Her sharp mouth had gotten her into trouble.

“ The next time you open that hole you call a mouth and insult me again, I won't hesitate to rip it out of your ugly damn face DO YOU HEAR ME !!! ” He said in his deep voice as a low growl reverberated in his chest.

Muna, who was not able to even move her head to nod, could feel her breath leaving her. If he didn't release her now, she might die.

She could hear her Aunt and Uncle begging for her to be released but their pleading fell on deaf ears to the Alpha as he was still strangling his mate under his deadly and scary glare.

“ He's going to kill her if we don't stop him now !! ” Dexter said to Ryder with wide eyes.

“ Damn !! ” Ryder cursed.

“ Well, do something, you're a Beta. He'll hear you out ” Dexter said in a panicked voice.

“ I hope, because it looks like all the sanity he had in him has left him, it seems like his beast's side has taken control over him ”, Ryder said, and Dexter rolled his eyes.

“ His beast's hand won't let him hurt his mate. ”

“ I meant his human beast side idiot ” Ryder said. “ Just shut up and let me go try to talk to him ”, he said, and walked towards the Alpha.

Jayden was still gripping his mate's neck so tight and he couldn't see that he was choking her. In his own way, he was teaching her a lesson for insulting him.

“ Alpha, you're killing her ,” He heard his Beta's voice behind him but he still didn't release his grip on her neck. “ If you end up killing her, remember you will not only hurt yourself, but you'll loose your beast, side ”

Hearing that Jayden finally released his hand from Muna’s neck, leaving red finger prints behind, and she coughed as she tried to gather all the air she could into her lungs and she glared at the Alpha with her glassy light brown eyes.

Dexter finally breathed a sigh of relief.

Tears dropped from her eyes as she rubbed her aching neck.

“ Get into the car right now !! ” Jayden said.

“ I don't take orders from you ” Muna said in a weak voice as she began to stagger back and forth.

“ Well, I'm your Alpha and you're my mate, so you'll listen to me and you'll do as I say ” Jayden fired back in a frustrated and angry tone.

“ You're not my Alpha and I'm not your mate ” That was the last thing Muna said before she fell to the ground and passed out.

“ Weak ” Jayden said with a scoff and he turned around to face Ryder. “ Take her into the car. We're leaving ”, he said, and left.

“ But what about her family? Wouldn't you tell them that she’s your mate ” Ryder said in a calm voice, and was glad that their Alpha didn't end up killing his mate.

“ I think they already know that and tell Mark and Dante to let go of their parents ”, Jayden said.

“ Yes Alpha ” Ryder said and he turned around and asked Mark the silver-haired and Dante the black warrior to let go of Muna’s parents, which they did, and he walked towards Muna, who was lying motionless on the ground and picked her up as he walked towards the car.

“ Please don't take our daughter away ” Evelyn cried out, kneeling on the ground while her husband hugged her, patting her back.

Soon all the cars drove out of the compound as though they were never there before if not for the dust in the air they left behind.

Desmond took the still sobbing Evelyn back inside the house. Just as he closed the door behind him, they both saw little Nathan coming down the stairs with fright visible in his face.

“ Are they gone ? ” He said, standing on the stairs holding the railing all the while looking around him for the silver-haired Werewolf he had bitten because he came to attack him.

Evelyn released herself from her husband's hold and crouched down while spreading her arms out “ Come here ” She said and Nathan ran into her embrace and hugged her and she patted his back.

“ Mom why are you crying ? ” He asked in his innocent voice as he searched around for his sister but he couldn't see her.

“ Yes, they are gone. They are finally gone ” She answered his question before.

“ Then why are you crying ? Where is Muna ? Is she hurt ? ” Nathan asked a lot of questions at once and Evelyn sobbed even more as she pulled back to look at him.

She held his soft cheeks with her hands as she sniffed “ I... I couldn't... I couldn't protect her name. The Werewolves.... The Werewolves took her away and I couldn't do anything... anything to stop them from taking her away from us... She's gone. ”

“ They took my sister away ? To where ? ” Nathan asked as tears threatened to fall from his eyes.

” They took her to their park. That's where she'll be staying from now, Nate ”, Desmond said.

“ But this is her home ”, Nathan said, as tears were now falling from his eyes.

“ It is now because she is their Alpha's mate ” Evelyn said.

“ She will feel so alone and scared ” Nathan said as he sniffed and Evelyn kissed his forehead while Desmond ruffled his hair. “ What if they hurt her ? What if they kill her ? ” Nathan said with wide eyes as fear crept into his body and he cried harder and Desmond crouched down to his level too.

“ Hey Nate, don't cry, okay? They are not going to hurt her or kill her because they would kill their beast side if they did that and they wouldn't want to loose their beast side, so stop crying both of you, it wasn't any of our fault that Muna was taken and she was taken away because she turned out to be a mate to a Werewolf ”

“ Soon she will come back to us, okay ” Desmond said, and they both nodded their heads in sync. “ I know she will return to us. ”

Just as soon as he said that someone's phone started ringing and Desmond and Evelyn checked if it was thiers but it wasn't and they realized that the ringing was coming from the dining table.

The trio immediately went to the table, seeing that it was Muna’s phone that was ringing.

She left it behind ?

They checked who was calling her and saw that it was Danielle.

Damn !!

“ Maybe she has found out where Raymond lives and the spell to free him ” Evelyn said.
