"Why me?. Oh goodness, what have I done to deserve this?", I queried myself, not even exaggerating.

This is more like a terrible daylight nightmare to me. Lisa North, my so called best friend, just threw me out of her dorm, and I'm now standing outside like a homeless fellow, with my bags right beside me. Well, that's actually what I am right now, because I have no other place to run to.

I was at a strict dorm meant for only girls, because my mom was of the believe that she could keep me away from boys or something in that manner, silly her. But then faith brought her boyfriend over, and we all got busted. To make matters worst, they were addicted to smoking. So now, she ditched me, and is now staying with him for the time being, why I have been rendered homeless, for I have no where else to go. I guess that's my punishment for not being to social and having just Lisa as a friend.

Although, I had a boyfriend, but he just wasn't staying alone, he had a roommate who actually turned out to be a dick head, so there's just no way he would let me crash at his place. I thought of calling Mom to inform her of my current situation, but then I knew that she would probably take me to another college, so I just waves off the thought.

Ohh God. I just feel like crying.

"Hello. Uhh, are you okay?", Came a concerned voice.

I quickly snapped out of my thoughts and turned around, only to meet a guy i don't even recognize, looking curiously at me. Well, luckily for me, not a lot of people could witness the awful state I was im, outside.

Lisa and I were both kicked out this morning, so I wasn't able to attend any of my classes.

"No", I said, although not verbally, but with a head shake.

Seeing that someone was finally showing concern towards me, tears slowly began to push it's way out of my eyes, but I just didn't let it drop.

"Don't cry, Moana Anderson. He's a stranger, and you don't want to get him freaked out, do you?", I cautioned myself.

Actually, he was a very cute stranger with black curls hair, and a light brown eyes. He really looked friendly, so I guess that's why I didn't feel scared of him in anyway.

"Why are all your belongings with you?", He inquired, his tone laced with immense confusion and curiosity.

I looked up at him, signifying that he was still yet to tell me who he was, and I guess he understood my look.

"Ohh, sorry, my bad. I'm Oliver by the way, but my friends prefer calling me Olly", he spoke.

I most confess he voice was really calm and soothing.

"I'm Moana", I replied with a faint smile.

"And for the bags. I have actually been kicked out of my dorm", I cleared his confusion.

"So, you are waiting for someone to come pick you up?. Your Mom I guess?", He asked.

"No. No one is coming to pick me up. I have no where to go. I'm homeless", I replied, running a frustrated hand through my golden coloured hair.

"Oh my world. That's quite bad. So what are you planning to do now?", He asked.

I shrugged in a sadly and defeated manner.

"I don't really know", I replied.

It seemed as if he had a serious thought for some moment, before he gently opened his mouth to speak.

"Listen. I have an idea though, but I'm not too sure it's going to work out", he said, his words putting me on a high cliff.

I widened my eyes in hope, as I spoke.

"What? Tell me about it", I said.

"Okay, I have a friend who lives alone. He was actually looking for a roommate, but considering that you are a girl, I do not think that he will be thrilled", he said to me.

I know of like ignored the last part and focused mainly on the fact that I might now be able to just score myself a place to stay.

"Please, why not we give him a trial", I pleaded desperately.

"I doubt he would want this", he said

"Oh come on. Pleaseeee.", I pressed, refusing any negative comments from him.

He finally let out a sigh, and agreed to my request, before help me pick up some fo my bags, why I picked therwst and followed suit.

Yet again, he let out a sigh and turned to me.

"I don't want you to be too hopeful. Because he might end up saying no,", he said awkwardly as he turned to me.

"He's not very nice", he warned.

Not wanting to keep the argument with him, I flashed by puppy eyes on him

"Do you think he would say no now?", I said, more of teasing.

"I wouldn't", he said as he chuckled amusingly.

"But come to think of it, how come I haven't seen you all this while?. You seem pretty cool", he added.

Quite funny isn't it.

"Well, first of all this is a very big campus. And secondly, it just my second semester here. So , even I don't know alot of people", I said.

He hummed thoughtfully.

"Hmm, it seems you're right. It's actually my third. So, which course are you studying?" He asked.

"Literature. I actually love writing", I replied

"Wow, a writer?. I never knew pretty girls could write", He said, appearing impressed and even interested. And yes, he had indirectly called me beautiful, seeming like he was flirting with me.

I giggled and rolled away my eyes from him m

"Should I be offended?", I said, earning his laugh as he spoke.

"Come on. It's just a compliment", he said.

"Now, it's your turn. What course do you offer?", I asked him.

"Law", he replied

Being honest, I was really impressed with his course as well.

"Ohh, I didn't know curly haired guys would want to be lawyers", I said.

He chuckled, amused by my come back.

"Fair enough", he said

We carried on with our small talk, which was quite a nice and relaxing one. Meanwhile, I was greeted with familiar and unfamiliar surroundings whenever I look out of the window.

"Wow. Aren't these apartments really expensive?", I asked with my eyes wide open as we finally got to our destination.

It was well known by everyone, that only rich kids live at the cottage hill apartments, and right now I was feeling really intimidated.

Oliver shrugged as he got out of the car, why I followed suit.

"Not really. And besides, if he agrees, then you only have to pay half of the rent" he explained.

Without being told, it was clear to me that half of it was actually going to be probably the full rent I was paying in my old dorm. But I guess I had no option than to let out a sigh.

I carried on with following him to his friends house, and the whole time, I was just praying inside of me that he would be nice enough to accommodate me. I was literally so desperate, and besides where will I sleep if I don't find one very soon?.
