9. Throwback

"Tell me, I'm handsome, aren't I?" its a sudden question.

"Y-Yes... Y-You're handsome." he trembled.

He can’t make this one angry because he will die once he throws him...

"Oh, really?! Am I handsome?!"

He would have answered Yes. But...

"Yes, you're handsome! If only you weren't dark!" Avana commented.

It even laughed.

"Huh! Stop right there, you little insect! Black is beautiful."

The tikbalang mirrored again and his eyebrows even raised while looking in the mirror.

Guile could no longer control himself and he finally laughed at the scene. The tikbalang lowered the glass he was holding and looked at him intently. He stopped laughing and swallowed. It raised its right hand.

"I'm Tarse. But I prefer to be called 'Tars'... You, who are you?"

Guile looked at his hand. He did reach for it. He shook hands.

"I'm Guile Medheart." he introduced himself.

He immediately let go of the handshake. He was scared.

"I'm Avana!" the lambana introduced herself and kissed him on the cheek.

He was tickled by what it did. He looked at the tikbalang carefully and sighed. He dared to ask...

"W-Why did you help me?" he asked curiously.

The tikbalang smiled at him.

"Because I feel sorry for you. One more thing, I saw your cool moves eh! You fought with your opponents. I guess that's about five! Awesome! You would have been great, in case someone hit you with a shovel in the back so you lost consciousness. I think, you are the hero told in the legend! Cool! I can't believe this... I saw you!"

"Wait, wait! What hero are you talking about?! "he said in shock.

This time Guile stood up and faced the tikbalang. He’s just up to his waist. He swallowed and looked up at it...

"Because the Elves said, a warrior man is coming to save our world against the evil Orcs! He will appear in time of need and he will awaken our burning hearts! He is the one sent by the angels to heaven to help...I think it's you!" Tarse said enthusiastically.

"Yes!" Avana also agrees.

Guile was shaken.

"You are wrong about that... This is a mistake." he retorted.

"But I saw you fight! You're good at boxing!" the tikbalang punched in the air like a boxer.

"You know, I am very grateful for what you did to help me. But you are wrong to think of me. I am not, a warrior and especially, I am not a hero. I am just a Treasure Hunter. I only know how to dig, travel and find wealth. I am just a human being. An ordinary person... I'm sorry, all I want now is to go home."

Avana flew and landed on Tarse's left shoulder. They were silent and kept looking at him.

"I'm sorry, I don't want to disappoint you."

He bowed because he was ashamed. They were kind to him and he could not even think of anything good to return. He walked and went out. He was stunned when he saw the surroundings...

Lots of huge plants and flowers. The lambanas are flying around.. There are dwarfs, kapre, tikbalang, Elves wearing armour and other fairies. They are repairing the damaged surroundings. Many buildings have been damaged by some kind of chaos... He looked up at the large mountain he was looking at. The top was glowing then. He looked closely and swallowed. A giant palace made of diamond. He felt Tarse approach him, it stood beside him.

"That palace you are looking at... It was the palace of the Elves. They ruled the kingdom of the Fairies. Many of the Elven warriors have already died as a result of fighting the Orcs. Not only Elves but also ordinary Fairies like us. It is peaceful here and happy. It's just that the Orcs came and tried to take over our world. They are ruled by a Marching Hordes — a demon who loves to start a war. His name is Haeres." Tarse’s long story.

"I am not a warrior as you think. But I can probably help to fix the damage here. For some reason, I can do something good for you, before I go home. In fact, I forced myself to believe that the Fairies are not true. You... But, you creatures will save my life. Thank you."

The tikbalang laughed. Avana remained silent riding on Tarse's shoulder.

"Come, I will introduce you to them..." Tarse said.

"Okay."

He walked and he followed carefully. It introduced him to the Fairies. He decided to stay for a while so that he could recover Tarse and Avana. The fairies treated him well. They are even kinder than people in fact.

Guile, Tarse and Avana are busy helping the dwarfs fix their house when...

"Orcs! Orcs! Hide, hurry!" language of a red-cloth dwarf.

Everyone is in a commotion, running and hiding...

"H-Hide, let's, hurry! T-They're already here!" Tarse's tongue trembled.

Guile frowned. The size of it eh... Very scared?! What are those Orcs?! They quickly hid with the dwarfs, they were inside the giant tree. A few more moments... The surroundings shook and they heard thunderous footsteps. Guile was amazed when he saw the appearance of the Orcs that his Fairy friends said...

They were twice the size of Tarse. Two Orcs came. They were carrying sticks full of thorns. They relentlessly smash buildings and destroy them.

"MWAAAARHH!...." they muttered loudly.

There are Elves who face it but they just rudely throw and beat them. An Elf even flew in front of them and dropped his sword. He lost consciousness and was seriously injured. Avana gasped in fear...

The two Orcs continue to destroy and the Elves warriors can do nothing to stop them. Until...

"H-Help!...."

A young tikbalang was overtaken by one of the Orcs. It destroyed the house where the young tikbalang was hiding. It took a big stick and was about to be hit by...

"Here's something for you!"

Suddenly Tarse arrives and kicks the Orc hard. It flew and slid into the distance. The trees through which its large body passed were destroyed.

"Tars!" Avana shouted.

They did not realize its action. The tikbalangs are the fastest creatures... The young tikbalang they helped immediately ran away. Tarse would have run away but...

"Aaaaaaargh!..."

He was hit hard by another Orc. It turned out to be behind him. It flew away and slid... It was immediately followed by the Orc that hit. The Elves stopped it but they just hit it and jumped. Another Orc who was kicked by Tarse also got up. He was very angry and immediately rushed towards Tarse who was having difficulty getting up due to the wound caused by the thorns of the rod that hit him. It ran fast and it even surpassed the companion Orc who was busy slaying the Elves blocking it. When he reached Tarse's place, he immediately lifted his large right-hand man holding a rod full of iron thorns in the air. It will hit the rod on Tarse but...

"Water Shield!..." a water barrier suddenly appeared.

The Orc was startled, his weapon flew away. Avana arrives to rescue Tarse. She used her power... She is now the one to rush!

"Spring Buster!..."

A whirlwind of water swallowed the enemy and threw it away. Guile was impressed by those moments. His Fairy friends were strong. It's just that, they just seem to lack courage.

Meanwhile... Avana was stunned after what she did. She did not expect that she would be able to do such a thing.

"N-I did! I beat an Orc!" her happy language.

But that fun was short-lived. She forgot another Orc who was behind her... The Orc suddenly grabbed Avana and....

"Eeeeeehhhh!...." that's how the lambana screamed.

The big Orc is forcing her to squeeze and it looks like he intends to crush her small body. Tarse suddenly woke up...

"Leave my friend alone!... HYAAA!..."

He kicked quickly but it hit him with his stick full of thorns... He jumped again.

Avana kept on screaming. It could not escape the big hand of the Orc. It was obviously difficult. Guile could no longer bear the visible scenes. He looked at the sword of the wounded Elf who was lying near the tree where he was... He suddenly came out of the giant tree where he and the dwarfs were hiding...

He quickly ran the sword and immediately picked it up. Then, he ran again... He bravely rushed to the location of the big Orc with the sword...

"Let go of my friend!..." he shouted as he started.

The fairies were stunned, especially the Elves and were shocked to see the big Orc on the oncoming Guile...
