After hitting Mariano to her satisfaction, she dropped the bat and let out a sigh. " I should have just gouged out his eyeballs, that monkey-ass" she muttered.

"What the heck! Maria!" He rushed to Mariano's side. "Did she do this to him?" he wondered with dilated eyes.

He crouched in front of the unconscious Mariano and, after struggling for a while, he managed to lift Mariano onto his shoulders and left the room.

"What did you do to him?" Bijoux questioned, hands on hips, causing Menodora to roll her eyes.

"I have no idea what you're talking about, so could you please step aside?" Menodora inquired. She had encountered Bijoux on her way to change out of her lingerie. Cassie threw a questioning gaze her way "How?" She asked.

Early the next morning, Mariano opened his eyes slightly and surveyed the room. His head began to throb immediately, causing him to release a groan.

"What the heck happened?" He muttered, attempting to leave the bed, disregarding Eduardo, who was sound asleep beside him. However, before he could rise, Eduardo held him back. "Dr. Grey said you should rest some more" Eduardo mumbled sleepily, and Mariano scoffed.

He forcefully yanked Eduardo's hands away but felt pain in his arm, confusing him. Staring down at his hand, he frowned upon seeing an IV drip connected to his body.

"You needed this more" he said, referring to Eduardo, as he left the bed after disconnecting the syringe from his body.

Entering his bathroom for a quick bath since he needed to go to work, a frown creased his forehead as memories of the previous night replayed in his head.
