Chapter 4

The next morning I was feeling extra mischievous and I really needed to piss someone off.

So I drove to school a little bit later than usual and decided to skip first period.

Next period was with Mrs. Jones again and she felt like a perfect victim right now.

I entered the classroom 10 minutes late, by slamming the door open.

Mrs. Jones stopped talking and turned to look at me. Her face visibly dropped as she realized that it was me.

"Hi Mrs. Jones!" I chirped ironically as I walked over to my seat and sat down.

"You can continue now" I pushed her and I saw her nostrils widen, probably due to her trying to keep herself from exploding.

"As I was saying, before Miss Parker over here, interrupted us-" She began but I quickly cut her off.

"You can call me Aaron you know, you've had me for three years now. I'd say we're on first name basis, don't you think Melinda?" I rested my legs at the girl in fronting me's chair again and I lazily crossed my arms behind my head as I leaned back and made myself comfortable.

"Okay then, as I was saying before Aaron interrupted me-" She began again, trying to stay calm.

"Twice!" I chimed in and I saw her eyes go wide, she looked crazy.

"I bet 10 bucks that she'll lose it during the following 3 minutes" I whispered to the boy next to me, a fun guy called Sam, he was known to be a real prankster and we often collaborated to do them. He was also one of the few, really close friends I had, and we had known each other for a long time.

"Deal" He agreed and we shook hands, sealing the deal.

Game's on bitch.

"Twice" She chuckled coldly, sending me a weird smirk. I could see her eye starting to twitch again, which usually meant that I had about 30 seconds before she lost it completely.

I was so winning this bet.

"Technically three times, well now four but you know, who's counting?"

I could sense the bigger part of this classes eyes on me, they were probably wondering how the fuck I was thinking.

"This lesson however, we're going to go through-"

I enthusiastically raised my hand and wave it in the air.

"Mrs, Mrs! I have a question"

10 more seconds to go until she looses it.

She was trying really hard to ignore me as I innocently looked over at her, waiting for her to let me ask my question.

"Yes, Aaron?" She gritted her teeth and snapped her head to look at me, she almost looked constipated.

"Why haven't you started your lesson yet? You're taking forever"

I watched as she raised a finger to point at me. She didn't say anything she just looked like she was poking the air, her eyes still wide.

"Y-you..." She started and I crossed my arms.

"I'm waitiiiing" I sang nonchalantly and I could almost see the smoke coming out of her ears.

"Oh but Melinda, now you're clenching your fists like that again, I told you that it would stop the blodsh-"

"SHUT UP! SHUT THE FUCK UP!" She finally yelled and I looked over at Sam smugly.

He groaned as he grabbed the money from his pocket and handed it to me.

"I always win" I stuck my tongue out.

"Melinda, that wasn't very nice. By school rules, the teachers aren't allowed to curse at the students, I'm afraid there will be consequences" I smugly stated and I knew for a fact that I would get in trouble for this.

"GET OUT! PRINCIPLES OFFICE RIGHT NOW!" She yelled and I raised my hands in mock defeat.

"I will, I will, Hakuna your tatas, gee" I walked out and blew her a kiss and winked, before exiting the room and heading towards the principals office.

Dorothea was behind the desk as usual and I greeted the grumpy old lady with a wave.

"The principal is free, you may enter the office" Her voice was robotic from saying the same thing to many times and I headed towards the office.

I slammed the door open with a big grin.

"Isn't it a beautiful day, Principal Brian?" I span around, before jumping down in the chair and crossed my legs and threw them up his desk and once again crossed my arms behind my neck.

"It certainly is Miss. Parker" My dear principal agreed, firmly.

He sat straight, his arms were rested on each side of a big pile of neatly placed papers.

"Didn't I tell you to call me Aaron? We're basically best friends" I mocked him and he rolled his eyes.

Mr. Brian was a surprisingly cool principal that was overly used to rebellious teenagers.

"Right, sorry about that Aaron. What did you do this time then?" He chuckled, grabbing a paper and a pen.

"I didn't do anything Mr, I came a few minutes late I must admit. But nothing else, I was just asking her a few questions and yes they had to do with the lesson. And then Mrs. Jones started to swear and told me to shut up, so I think Mrs. Jones is the bad guy in this case" I innocently looked up at him, trying to look as cute and nice as possible.

He sighed and amusedly shook his head.

"I won't even bother giving you detention or having you suspended, seeing as you never go to them plus your parents sponsor this school so kicking you out isn't an option either. And since you aren't failing any classes, I don't think we have a problem here, so I'd say you're free to leave"

I silently cheered and did some victory dance moves on the way to the door.

"Aaron?" The principal stopped me just as I grabbed the doorknob.

"Yes...?"

"Be nice to that Josephson kid, okay? He's a good lad"

I gave him the thumbs up and awkwardly exited the office.

When I got out I span around and made some air kicking moves, celebrating my luck.

"Nice moves there" I heard someone call from the couch in the waiting room.

I turned around and laughed as I saw Sam laying in it.

"What did you do?" I wondered as I sat down opposites to him.

"Mr. Jones went even crazier when you left and she yelled detention to me as soon as I raised my hand. I don't think I have anything to worry about, with other words"

I cocked an eyebrow and shook my head, snickering.

"I guess you made it out pretty safe, seeing your reaction?" Sam changed the subject and I nodded.

"Nothing at all and he basically said that I don't have to worry about anything seeing as he can't kick me out and I'm not failing any classes. I CAN DO WHATEVER I WANT!" I stood up and did a little victory dance.

"Ayyyoooo!"

Sam kept on laughing but he groaned when Dorothea told him the teacher was ready.

"Byeeee!" We fist-bumped and I smugly walked out of the waiting room.

Rumors spread fast at our school and when I got back to the corridors everyone knew what had happened.

I got endless high five's and 'good job's' and I can't deny that I felt pretty cool.

The rest of the day passed as a blur and I headed towards the library again.
