Chapter 5: Finding the Alpha 2

Lucas POV.

I bent down to pick her face cap for her when my eyes suddenly met her eyes. Gosh she has beautiful emerald eyes.

'She's the one! she's the girl at the hotel that night. ' Artemis screamed in my head and a smile crept into my face. I finally find her.

"It's you I said putting her face cap back on her head and she immediately shove a portrait of a red haired guy with icy blue eyes at my face.

" Do you know him?" She asked and I shove the portrait away.

" You need to follow me" I said dragging her hand and she freed herself from my grip.

"Why should I follow you?" She asked angrily and I placed my hands on my waist. She seems to be very upset. She's looking for the man in that portrait. Why would she look for him when I'm here.

' I told you to mark her that night but you wouldn't listen. Now she's looking for a red haired man ' Artemis said disappointedly in my head and I felt a sting in my chest.

"Are you looking for that man in the portrait?" I asked softly to get her attention.

" Yes" she replied with just one word. She looked fray and weak unlike that night.

"Why are you looking for him " I asked and she look pissed off.

" It's personal" she said and I wonder what's personal between them.

" Okay but there's something I want to tell you" I said calmly trying not to piss her off or scare her away.

" What's it?" She asked taking a seat on a chair by her side. She looks weak, what's wrong with her?

" Are you alright" I asked and she nodded. She don't look well to me. She will have to see the pack doctor once I get her out of here.

" What do you want to say?" She asked and I snapped back.

' what a cute mate we have' Artemis said and I smiled inwardly with joy in my heart. It wasn't easy finding her and I don't think it would be easy to take her with me to the pack either.

" You're my mate" I said and she furrows her brows.

" What do you mean by I'm your mate,? Do you mean classmates or age mates ? She asked with a spark in her eyes.

" I mean you're my Luna" I said and she turned her face away.

" Do you remember any note in the hotel table? " I asked not knowing where to start from but I guess I said the wrong word at the right time because she becomes so furious all of a sudden.

" Are you the guy who wrote that note?" She asked curiously as she got up to her feet.

" Yes it's me" I replied and she rushed towards me and pounced on me.

" You're so wicked and heartless. How could you? How could you do this to me? I'm going to kill you" she wailed and hit me with her handbag.

Ouch that hurts! Why is she mad at me? What did I do, is it because of the note?

" Stop it mate" I said holding her hands and she broke down in tears.

" You're very wicked" she yelled and I felt pain in my chest. Her tears hurts in my chest.

" I didn't do anything wrong to you" I said truthfully. I can't remember doing something bad to her.

" You're a liar" she yelled and my eyes deemed. What's wrong with her? Why is she so sad to see me. I don't like seeing her crying even if she looks cute while crying.

" You slept with me, took our nude photos together and sent it to my boyfriend. What did I do to you?" She yelled and I felt a pang in my chest. I was taken aback by her words that I couldn't even say a word.

' Artemis do you remember any of those things she's talking about?' I asked Artemis in my head and he replied with a "no"

' I think someone sets her up ' Artemis suggested and my icy blue eyes became cold.

" And now he broke up with me" she said softly as tears streamed down her pretty face.

" I'm sorry about that" I apologised and she charged toward me.

" You're sorry? I will get you arrested for what you did to me" she threatened and I put my hand on my forehead. She will be difficult to deal with.

"Listen , you have to come with me to the pack. You're my mate " I said calmly just to calm her down so that she can follow me.

" I'm not going anywhere with you" she yelled walking away and I ran after her. I can't let her go away now that I have found and not especially when She's looking so sick.

" Listen you have to come with me. I can't let you go, you're my mate" I said and she turned to face me with her emerald eyes glittering with tears

" And you're an alpha. So you think you can do anything you like with me" she yelled and felt concerned for her, her throat might get soar from the yelling and how did she know I'm an alpha.

" How did you know I'm an alpha?" I asked and she pushed me away.

" I don't want to talk to you" she yelled and walk towards the parking lot when she suddenly fell and I catch her in my arms. She just lost consciousness, what's wrong with her?

' she don't look well' Artemis said in my head and I immediately put her in my truck and drove out of the hotel down into the woods. It was quite dark in the wood with shimmering voices of unknown creatures..
