Chapter 4
While drinking the wine, Hunter just stared at the woman who was still lying on the bed. Maybe he was a jerk for doing it to her but he didn't care about it. He can do what he wants because he is Hunter Silvestre and no one can stop him.
"I'm warning you woman, this is the last time I will tell you not to escape because if you do it again you will experience more than that. Don't ever try to tamper with my business again.” he said seriously.
Linnea didn't answer and just glared at him and because of that he pulled her hips up to get inside her again. She shouted again because of what Hunter did to her and he could see the tightness of her grip on the pillow.
Hunter feels like heaven whenever he is inside her. She's tight and he really likes it.
"Please enough, s-stop it already. I-I won't run away anymore," Linnea begged.
"Don't ever try to escape again because wherever you hide I will still find you. You put yourself in this situation Linnea remember that," Hunter said emphatically.
The young man left on top of her as he quickly took the blanket and wrapped it around his naked body.
"Let me go Hunter," she pleaded in a low voice.
"I will never do that Linnea, since you entered my life and interfered with my business, that means you will never be able to leave. You will follow everything I say if you don't want us to have a problem," he said and walked into the bathroom to take a bath.
Linnea couldn't help but be upset because of what had happened to her, now she feels a lot of remorse because she didn't stop interfering in the young man's business, if only she had listened to her friend and followed Hunter's first warning she would not be here in this place.
Now she has proven that a Hunter Silvestre is not an easy opponent and she is sure that she will never escape again especially since she already knows the young man and she knows he will not let his name be tarnished just because of her.
When the young man came out of the bathroom, he found Linnea asleep so he didn't wake her up because he knew that the woman’s body also fell because of what he did to her. As he looked at the woman who was fast asleep he heard a knock coming from the door, he walked over to it and opened it. One of his servants is at the door. "Sir, your secretary is here, looking for you," the maid said.
"Tell him to wait for me and I'll get dressed first," he instructed her and closed the door.
He took a dress from his cabinet and quickly put it on. Before he left, he first approached Linnea and arranged for her to lie down, he also turned down the aircon so that the woman would not be too cold.
When he got down he found sitting one of the ones he trusted. "Why did you come here?" he asked as soon as he got close to it.
"About a transaction of ours, they betray us," Dane said.
"What happened?" Hunter asked seriously.
"We have no choice but to kill them,"
"Well then, what's the news about Aiden?" Hunter asked again.
"I still don't know if he's here in the Philippines, but I'm still taking care of him."
"Make sure to know about it, that man has a headache," Hunter said.
They talked for a while before Dane said goodbye to leave because it was already late in the evening.
When Dane left, the young man fell on the sofa, wiping his face. Until now he still doesn't know where Aiden is but he has a strong feeling that now that he has returned to the Philippines, he knows that it hurts him a lot just because of the misconception.
He treated Aiden as a brother but due to an incident the good relationship they had was ruined. He tried to talk to him and explain several times but his mind was closed.
He stopped at the thought of someone speaking to his side. "Sir, the food is ready."
He just nodded and got up to go dining.
While he was eating, one of his maids suddenly approached him. "Sir, will the food just be served here for Ms. Linnea or will it just be taken to her?"
"Just get it ready and I'll just inform you to send it later when she wakes up." Hunter ordered and his assistant immediately complied.
Hunter went back to eating, he was used to living like this every day. Alone at home and also eating alone unless he has meetings or business transactions and he eats outside.
He doesn’t have a family and he devotes his time to business. He doesn't care about other people because for him it's just an obstacle in his life and he believes that a person only becomes good if they benefit you.
After he ate he got up and walked to the kitchen.
"Please bring Linnea’s food to my room later as well as clothes that she can use. Don't let her escape because you will be the ones to punish," he ordered and walked out of the kitchen.
He went straight to his office here in his house and started to look at the documents that were on his desk. He still needed to read them one by one and sign. Even though he wanted to go back to the room to be with Linnea he couldn’t because he had to finish the paperworks that Dane had brought earlier because they were important for their next transaction.
He also couldn't understand why he didn't want to release the woman, even if he could do it or he could kill her because she already knew a lot about his transaction but he couldn't. He feels different when he is close to her.
He was in the middle of reading the papers when his phone suddenly rang and he answered it quickly when he saw Dane calling.
"Why?" he asked.
"Don't forget the one in the red folder, I needed it tomorrow." He reminded me.
"I'm currently reading it now. Is this Mr. Lim's?" he asked.
"Yes, will you come to the meeting tomorrow?"
"I'll take a look, I'll just tell you," Hunter said and dropped the call.
He went back to reading the paperwork and when he was sure it was in order he signed it.
