Chapter 6: Picnic

The next. Morning, Liam woke up and his eyes perched on the sleeping beauty beside him. He's staring at Barry's perfect beauty while caressing it gently. Liam gently brushes Barry's soft silky brown hair with his hand, tracing the perfectly shaped eyebrows with his forefinger down to the latter's nose and onto the slightly parted red plump lips caressing it with his thumb.

"You're so beautiful, my love," Liam gently brushed his lips against Barry which made the man stir from his sleep and was welcomed by the brightest smile he had ever seen.

"Good morning my baby, my love," said Liam with a bright smile plastered on his lips.

"Good Morning too, Liam, please don't call me that in front of anyone, it's kinda embarrassing." Barry was referring to Liam's pet name for him.

"Loving you isn't embarrassing, baby, I want everyone to know that you are mine. I want the whole world to know how proud I am that I have Barry Carter." Said Liam sincerely while eyes fixed into his. "Baby, just like I said last night, I won't force you to love me back so soon, just let me love you the way I want, so don't worry too much, okay?" Liam squeezed Barry's nose lightly.

" Liam, I don't know what to say," Barry then hides and snuggles his face onto Liam's chest while Liam embraces him and sniffles his hair. He bestowed soft kisses on top of Barry's head while smelling the fragrance of the shampoo they used last night. They stayed in that position for a few minutes until they decided to freshen up themselves and went down for breakfast.

"Good morning Master Liam, good morning Master Barry," the head maid greeted them politely. "Good morning Rose," Liam responds to the middle-aged woman.

"Please don't call me master, you can just simply call me Barry," He said to Rose, the head maid. Rose glances at Liam, and Liam just nod in agreement."

"If that's what you want Barry, you can call me Rose. The breakfast is ready, please enjoy your meal and have a good day." Said Rose with a kind smile.

While at the dining table, Barry was wondering as to how the whole house is so quiet and he couldn't see Liam's parents and cousins. "Where are they?" Asked Barry. "Who?" Replied Liam

"Your mom, dad, Jonas, and sister Lily."

"Oh, I forgot to tell you, they were not staying here, they're living in the house next to us. This house is ours only, you and me our house," said Liam, and Barry's mouth hung open.

"Ours? uh... we're not married and I am only a freeloader here, your house only, not ours." Barry then shoves a sandwich into his mouth.

"Yes, ours," said Liam while staring at Barry's cute reaction. Liam couldn't help himself but admire Barry's cuteness while eating. His cheeks are like those chipmunks while nibbling the food. "Ack! He's too cute, can I eat him up?" Liam thought and then got up and leaned forward and then licked Barry's lips.

Barry's eyes widened and almost choked by the sandwich he is currently chewing.

"D-d-don't do that again, gosh! Do you want me to die from choking? Shameless!" Said Barry with a flushing red face.

"I just wiped the mustard on your lips," Liam while staring at him seductively and then bit his lip after winking and swirling his tongue around his lips then went back to sit down again.

"Are you seducing me right now?" Asked Barry in disbelief.

"Yes, I am, baby, so give in already," confess Liam shamelessly. Barry chuckles at Liam's silliness, he knows Liam was just kidding and trying to lighten his mood.

"By the way, I already transferred this house to your name, so it's yours now... So technically, I'm the freeloader here, ``said Liam.

"What the f*ck, Liam! Why are you deciding for me?" Barry raises his voice

"I'm sorry baby, you can throw me out of this house if you want since this is your house already. "Said Liam while acting pitiful like a lost puppy.

Barry just facepalm himself, "how can I do that?"

Liam got up and went to Barry's back and hugged him from behind. "I'm sorry baby, I just can't help myself but fall in love with you day by day." Liam while rubbing his face onto Barry's hair

Barry just shut his eyes while suppressing his feelings, Liam can make him feel important. Liam never looked down on him, Liam and his family accepted him wholeheartedly without looking down on his s*xual orientation. Unlike his own family that disowned him after knowing he is gay. A twin tear broke out from his eyes while he remembered the time his family threw him out of the house and disowned him.

Barry opened his eyes when he felt a soft touch caressing his cheeks followed by soft kisses all over his face and a warm and tender kiss on his lips.

"Baby, let's go somewhere. "I'll show you some places here." Said Liam and Barry just nodded and they continued to finish their breakfast.

"Where are we going?" Asked Barry when they were settled in the car.

"You will know it later, you still have one month before you start working at the university, let's enjoy our free time together, okay?" Said Liam and stole a quick kiss onto Barry's lips.

Barry just heaved a sigh, it's only been a few days but Barry lost count on how many times Liam has stolen kisses from him every now and then.

"Liam, could you explain everything to me?"

"Explain what, baby?

"Everything, like how did you find out about me and Seth, about my work and my family? And why are you doing all these to me? It's been only a few weeks since that night at the hotel."

"Later baby, I will tell you everything, let's get down first and settle," answered Liam.

"Liam steeps down the car followed by Barry and then Liam gets the basket of food and a blanket. "Babe help me carry this." Liam handed the basket of food to Barry and he carried the parasol and the blanket.

"Oh, are we going for a picnic?" Asked Barry as Liam didn't tell him earlier.

"Yes baby, let's go." He said and they walked and entered the wooden fence.

A beautiful lake scenery with big trees on the side of the lake. Swans were swimming and playing on the lake.

"Wow! It's beautiful," said Barry with amusement evident in his sparkling eyes.

"Barry was so amazed by the beautiful scenery, the air was fresh and the place was quiet, perfect for relaxation.

"I know you will like this kind of place." Said Liam and winked at him. Barry's face blushes as he can't help it no matter how many times Liam flirts with him, he can't seem to get used to it and his heart flutters all the time.

Liam set up the parasol even though there's a shadow from the big tree. Liam knows Barry is afraid of bugs, caterpillars, and crawlings. After setting up the parasol and the picnic mat, they lay down on the mattress and enjoy the scenery.

"Baby, give me your hand," said Liam and sat down followed by Barry

"Hm? Why?" Asked Barry

"I'll apply the insect repellent so the insect won't bite you. I won't allow insects to bite you, only me has the right to bite and taste you." Said Liam nonchalantly and winked again making Barry's ear tips turn pink because of Liam's flirtatious remarks.

"Give me that, I can apply it myself, I'm not a baby." Barry retorted

"But you are my baby, so let me." Liam insists and holds his hand and then squirts the insect repellent and massage it gently onto Barry's white porcelain skin.

"Barry didn't protest anymore, he just let the man do what he wanted and spoiled him. Barry was staring at Liam applying the insect repellent and couldn't help but be emotional. He feels like all the bitterness in his heart disappeared.

Barry has these unexplainable feelings when he is with Liam yet wasn't sure what it is. It's different when he was with Seth. It's a kind of feeling that he felt for the first time. The happiness that he couldn't feel when he was with Seth. The happiness that he never expected ever since he was a child. He grows up hiding his real s*xuality orientation because he is afraid to be judged by his family. He poured all his attention and feelings through dancing, dancing is his only way to release the frustration, anxiety, and loneliness in his heart. Until one day his family found out about his real sexual orientation and disowned him.

He lived in misery, he got up by himself and set his goal. He strives for his dreams, he meets the sweet caring Seth and he falls in love for the first time, but the sweet caring Seth was just a mask. Behind his sweet package lies an ugly monster.

Barry can't help but recall the past.
