The Handsome Hero
It was already getting late when Donna left. She felt so miserable and downbeat that all her thought were jumbled with regrets.
"It was all my fault... I shouldn't have ask him out. Alice made me did that and now... God, he never loved me at first. Why did Alice have to deceive me like this?" She tried holding the tears streaming down her cheeks, but couldn't.
"She forged those results and got the man I have been spending on." She said out loud this time, but it seems like it wasn't loud enough for her ears.
"Who knows if they all planned this. Not that he's even richer than me. Fuck him!" She swerved her car to the side of the road and exhaled sharply, trying to calm her nerves. The more she think of reasons not to cry or feel regrets anymore, the more things got worse.
She wasn't the type of lady that fight for fame, even though she's well known in the city. But truthfully speaking, she got more fame and more patronage when she started an affair with Robert.
Robert was a man of fame, that was what made many think he was the wealthiest person in the city when it's very obvious that Donna was ten times wealthier than him.
"After everything I did to be faithful. He did this to me. Even Alice! Ohh my god..." She cried so hard that tears weren't coming anymore.
Donna was lost in thoughts that she did not even know it was late. It was the pleasant neon lights coming from an advertisement board that gave her the consciousness that it was already late.
She focused her eyes on the advertisement board to see what it was displaying.
"Gabs... A place to rest and clear your head."
When she saw that, she didn't know how she walked into the building that looks like a restaurant. Donna had always work her ass out that she doesn't even have time for clubs and night party. But at the moment, she thought it was the only option for her.
It was a pretty fancy place for fun, with a club and a bar attached, and it was expensive.
Inasmuch everything was perfect looking and can easily get someone's attention, Donna couldn't get the naked pictures of Robert and Alice from her head. It was like everything was playing in her psyche repeatedly.
"Hello missy, what can I offer you?" A boy in his twenties walked towards Donna.
"Something strong!" She answered without staring at him.
"Something strong?"
"Yes... I said something strong... Or you don't have ears? Ohh, maybe you should remove that nasty looking ears of yours so we all know you don't have one. Nonsense!" She roared angrily. Those close by were all surprised by the tone to which she said those words.
The young looking boy didn't utter a word. He bent down and brought out some drinks. One doesn't need to be told that they were alcoholic.
She hastily took several shots like she was some kind of alcoholic person.
When a random guy saw that she was wasted, but she continuously took more shots. He shoved in with the intentions of getting her to bed. It was a massive opportunity for him to get such a beautiful damsel to bed.
"Hello pretty," he greeted with a radiating smile as he stared pervertedly at her.
"Piss off," she charged at him despite his nice approach. She took more round and finally emptied the bottle.
The young man paid for more orders and got her wasted to the point she was so helpless.
It was when he was about kissing her neck that another man who was seated beside her stopped him without a fight.
He couldn't retaliate because he was very well aware that someone with such muscular body will take him down quickly as possible. So, he kept off and moved away.
"You couldn't have stopped him... I like it when my neck is being kissed and I was the one who told him to. Anyways, he's not my type." She slurped another glass.
"So what's your name handsome hero?" Donna asked with a sexy smile extended over her face.
The handsome hero ignored her and stood up, ready to leave before Donna held him by his hand and stared without blinking. He sighed and sat down.
"Good boy," Donna said tapping his forehead with her finger.
"I want to know your name handsome hero." She pressed on and took another glass. She was about taking another one, but the young man stopped her.
"If you really want to know my name, then stop drinking." He stated.
"Well... You know what? Just get out of my sight. I don't want to know your fuckin' name. You men are scumbags. Screw you all!!" She yelled and tears dropped uncomfortably from her cheeks.
She took the glass from him and got herself wasted.
The handsome hero paid for the drinks and warned the waiter not to serve her any more drinks. The waiter had no option than to obey.
"Who begged you to pay for my drinks? Or you want to kiss me too? Or you think I'm that poor that I can't pay?" She barked.
"You're drunk. You should get some rest." He said with a blank expression.
"Drunk? You must be out of your sense!" She blurted angrily.
"What happened to you? Why do you think all men are scumbags?" He asked, ignoring the insults and trying to get her attention from the drinks. He didn't know he just stepped on the injury.
Donna started blabbering about what Robert and Alice did. She told him everything but didn't mention any name and he wasn't even keen on knowing their names.
The handsome looking man felt like he was looking boring and prudish. So, he started talking about the hurdles he faced from women who had came into his life.
He tried as possible to keep the conversation going with her despite she was drunk and was just blabbing about herself, majorly about how he suspected Robert from the onset but did nothing.
The handsome hero decided to show him a picture he had on his phone of his ex getting fucked by a different guy and Donna gave him a kissing saying
“Love is just a dumb luck.” She weep convulsively with tears streaming down as every word she uttered. He tried a few times to get the conversation off sex, but she was so drunk that she couldn't even participate in the conversation nor talk properly.
All of a sudden, She ran outside to bum a smoke from the people on the patio.
The handsome hero followed her outside. He took the cigarette away from her, but she took another cigarette and took a long drag.
"Stop it!!" He said and took it from her again. She laughed and pushed herself close to him, trying to kissing him, but he pulled her away with ease.
"Why did you want to kiss me? You're such a drunken idiot." She laughed and stumbled over him.
She tugged her hair angrily, with an irritating face, as tears dropped down her cheek all of a sudden. The handsome hero thought it was because he didn't kiss, he never knew it was the thought of Robert and Alice that resurfaced.
So, he kissed her. Despite their mouths were touching, he still thought it was normal. But it became something else when Donna started feeling some kind of nervousness even though she was drunk.
"I didn't stay back to take advantage of a drunk lady," he thought and stopped kissing her. But Donna reacted by kissing him again as he kept thinking about her supposed husband.
She vented all of that into the kiss, and it got more intense that the handsome hero couldn't take a brief halt since he was already getting lost with his hormones skyrocketing.
"I want more than just a kiss." She broke the kiss and dragged him towards a open cabin beside.
