CHAPTER SIX

Amelia's body grew goose pimples.

Every breath was a moan, as she tilted her hips up, desperately needing to be filled. She wanted him inside her. As if reading her need, Andrew lowered his body along her bare bottom, then his hands spread her butt cheeks, and before she could comprehend what was coming, she felt for the first time in her life a tongue against her most intimate of places. She surged forward against the desk with a loud cry, and kept going as he continued licking her up.

The feeling was unfamiliar and exotic, very different from anything she had experienced before. In no time, she came loudly, her nails scratching against the hard surface of the desk and her body bucking uncontrollably.

As she laid her head on her hands, she heard the crinkle of the condom wrapper, letting her know he wasn't done with her yet. They were actually just getting started.

Moments later, the hard length of his cock slid between her ass cheeks, and forced it's way inside her tight opening. Ava moaned as he pushed inside, one thick arm reaching around her waist and pulling her tight against his body. He pressed her down against the desk as he slid out and then in, sending waves of pleasure through her. His movements left her panting and frantic as she pushed back against him wildly.

"Damn, you're so hot." he murmured in her ear as he thrust harder, earning another loud cry from her. Ava braced herself against the edge of the desk as he pounded into her, his thrusts shaking her entire body. She moaned so loud as she came for the second time in how many minutes.

But he kept thrusting, his hard thrust almost lifting her off the floor. The pleasure too much, as they both became a moaning mess. Then he let out a ragged grunt and with one last stab he shook against her back, and came inside her. He laid her carefully atop the desk, resting his hard body atop hers as they both struggled to catch their breath.

The classroom buzzed with idle chatter as students trickled in, some flipping through notes, others tapping on their phones. Ava sat near the window, her notebook open but untouched. Her mind, as usual, was elsewhere — specifically, on Room 314 and the man who occupied it.

“Okay, spill,” Camille said, sliding into the seat beside her, eyes narrowed in mock suspicion. “You’ve been acting weird for weeks now.”

Ava blinked, forcing a neutral smile. “Weird how?”

Camille leaned in, whispering. “You barely hang out anymore, and you’ve been visiting Dr. Reid’s office like it’s a second home. What’s going on?”

Ava’s heart skipped. Her fingers tightened around her pen.

“Cam, it’s nothing— I just… I’m struggling in his class, okay? I’m trying not to lose my scholarship.” Her voice was low, rushed, laced with enough anxiety to sell the lie. “He’s been helping.”

Camille stared for a second longer, like she wanted to push further. But before she could respond, the door opened.

Dr. William Reid entered.

The room stilled. Conversations died.

He walked in like he owned the air, dark suit crisp, eyes scanning the room with his usual controlled detachment — until they landed on her.

Their eyes locked.

Ava felt it — that spark, that jolt of electricity she was beginning to crave like a drug. Her thighs clenched beneath the desk. He looked away just as quickly, but it was too late.

She was already burning.

Burning for his touch.

Wanting him inside her.

She really couldn't get enough of him.

Camille tilted her head. “You okay?”

Ava cleared her throat. “Yeah. Just… focused.”

Focused was a lie. Because the moment Dr. Reid began to speak, she wasn’t listening to his lecture.

She was replaying the night he said, “Once I take it, it’s mine.”

And wondering if he meant more than just her body.

Hoping that he meant more than just her body, because she was ready to give him all of her.

Yes! she was obsessed.

She was obsessed with Dr. William Reid, and that isn't ashamed to admit it.

Her eyes quickly flicked to the clock hung on the wall in the classroom.

In less than 50 minutes, the class would be over, and she would have a chance to be with him.

“Ms. Sterling?”

His voice cut through the fog in her mind like a blade.

She blinked.

"Ava Sterling, are you with us?"

Heads were turned toward her, curious eyes staring. Her heart lurched. Had he called her name?

“I asked,” Dr. Reid said, voice calm but clipped, “if you could explain the significance of Kant’s theory in contrast to utilitarian ethics. Or would you prefer I call on someone else?”

The way he said it… so neutral, so professional — but there was a sharp edge beneath it. One only she could feel. It wasn’t just a question. It was a warning.

Ava’s cheeks flushed. “Sorry, could you repeat that?”

He paused.

Silence stretched thin in the room.

Then, finally: “What is the core difference between Kant’s deontological ethics and utilitarianism?”

She swallowed. Hard. But thankfully, her brain caught up just in time.

“Kant believes morality is based on duty and intention,” she said quickly. “While utilitarianism is focused on outcomes — doing what brings the greatest happiness to the greatest number.”

A small nod from Dr. Reid. “Correct.”

He moved on without a glance. But Ava knew.

She knew he was punishing her for zoning out. For losing herself in the thought of him.

Her pulse still throbbed in her neck as whispers resumed around her.

Camille leaned in again, smirking. “Jeez, distracted much? I thought you said you were focused.”

Ava forced a tight smile. “Just tired.”

But her body was wide awake.

Her skin tingled with leftover heat, her core still pulsing with anticipation.

She didn’t hear another word from that lecture.

All she could think about was the way his voice had dipped low. The way his eyes had gone hard. The way her name rolled off his tongue — Ava Sterling — like a reprimand, but laced with unspoken hunger.

She was addicted to this feeling.

This tension.

This dance.

And she couldn’t wait to be alone with him again.

Room 314 was calling.

And this time… she might not let him leave until he said he needed her, too.

---

The moment Dr. Reid dismissed the class, Ava’s hand darted to her bag. Her heart was already racing toward Room 314 — the one place where the hunger in her chest would finally be fed.

She shoved her notebook in her tote and stood, ready to make a beeline for the door, when Camille’s voice stopped her.

“Hey, Ava—wait!”

Ava froze mid-step, forcing a casual turn. “Yeah?”

Camille bounced up beside her, eyes bright. “There’s a party tonight. Josh’s birthday. Half the department’s going. I was thinking we hit the mall, grab something cute to wear, and maybe go for manis and pedis. You in?”

Shit!

Ava’s smile wavered. “Tonight?”

Camille nodded. “Yeah, in a few hours. C’mon, it’s been ages since we went out. Just us. Like old times.”

Her stomach twisted.

If she said no, Camille would start putting things together. She was already suspicious. And the last thing Ava needed was anyone sniffing too close to her secret with Dr. Reid. But if she said yes… she’d have to delay the one thing she’d been craving all day.

Her eyes flicked to the hallway, the one that led toward his office. She could practically feel him there, waiting, his door closed, tie loosened, jaw clenched. That look in his eyes when she pushed him too far…

God, she wanted him.

But Camille was still watching her, expectant.

Ava forced a laugh. “Of course I’m in,” she said, slipping her arm through Camille’s. “I'm in dire need of a little shopping and some girl time.”

Camille beamed. “Yesss! I was worried you’d bail again.”

Ava smiled back, hiding the ache crawling beneath her skin. She didn’t want to go.

She wanted to be beneath William Reid.

But she needed to be careful, because if she didn’t play her cards right, Camille could be the one to expose everything.

As they walked out together, Ava stole one last glance down the hall toward Room 314.

Next time, she told herself.

Plus deep down, she knew... waiting only made the want stronger.
