Chapter 3: Beginning of a New Journey

Somewhere in new york, in a nightclub, four guys could be seen sitting around a table. Taking a closer look at them, you could tell they are teenagers. Probably around the age of eighteen or nineteen. They seem to be having a lot of fun.

Even though the light of the club was dimmed, one wouldn't fail to notice that these groups of boys are dangerously handsome. They are so handsome that for a minute there, you could mistake them for angels. Just that angels can't probably be found in a club, right??

And who are these four guys??? They are the four members of the popular boy's band, "Angels". They look so dreamy and crazily cute. They are; Bryan popularly called Ryan, Christopher aka Chris, Jason, and Justin. Their voice and look are soo angelic and that is probably where they get their group name from.

One bad thing about these guys is that, they are playboys. And even though Bryan has a girlfriend that didn't stop him from living this kind of lifestyle. His girlfriend, Catherine knows the kind of life he lives but cares less. As far as she remains the school queen and his main girlfriend, she's cool. Maybe because she also leads a similar lifestyle. They don't love each other after all, and Bryan is only with her because his family wants him to be with her.

Cathy (Catherine) is a bad bully and everyone tries their best not to fall victim to her bully. But you can never be careful enough with bullies, right? Ciara is one of their regular victims probably because she is a nerd coupled with the fact that she is from a middle-class family.

Ciara's parents own a restaurant and she does help them there after school and during the holidays. Her parents are not rich but they had enough to take care of their only daughter and also enough to take care of their niece, who just joined the family. All they have to do is to just cut down some of their expenses, which they gladly did.

{The Richard's apartment }

In Richard's apartment inside Ciara's room which she now shares with Bianca, the two girls could be seen sitting at the edge of their bed as they discussed.

"Arrgh.....school is resuming tomorrow. I wish the holiday would last a little longer" Ciara said as she tried to engage Bianca in a conversation.

"Mum said you will be resuming the day after tomorrow since there are some things she still needs to get for you".

"Since you will be joining Pioneers high school, there are some things you need to know. Try your best to avoid Cathy, that idiot is she d*vil. She picks on the weaker student because they happen to be the school queen"

"Have you heard of the angels, those guys are soo cute and I bet you would fall for them at first sight. I mean who wouldn't". Ciara said with her hand on her chest as if she was in a trance.

And for the first time, since they entered their room, Bianca raised her head and gave Ciara a long stare before she stood up and lay on the bed properly.

"I know what you are thinking and yes, I have a crush on them most especially Bryan and Chris and I hope Chris will notice me someday since Cathy is already dating Ryan".

"But who am I kidding.......They will never notice a stupid clumsy nerd like me" she added sadly.

"You are not stupid or clumsy.....Trust me, you are one hell of a great girl" Bianca finally said and she was right, even though she always acts snobby towards her cousin, Ciara never for once stopped acting friendly towards her.

"I know you are just saying that to make me feel better...But the truth is I know I am no fun. All I know how to do is to read and work. I am even too weak to defend myself against Cathy who wouldn't cease to ridicule me in front of the whole school" Ciara said as she also climbed the bed and lay beside Bianca.

"Goodnight" Bianca mumbled as she drew the duvet over her head. She has no strength to argue with her cousin. Ciara can go ahead and believe whatever she wants to believe about herself. It has been a long day at the restaurant and all she needs right now is a good night's rest.

Ciara took one last look at her cousin and sighed deeply. Her cousin is really beautiful no doubt and her blue eyes have a way of staring at you that could make you melt under their watch. She would surely attract the angels but would she be able to cope with Cathy's bully?

Sighed.......

This and many more thoughts raced through her mind as she closed her eyes and allow nature to take its course.

The two girls slept side by side leaving their worries for the next morning.

{The angel's mansion}

The next morning at the angel's mansion.

The four boys live together not because they don't have their houses but because that is what is required of them to do since they are a group.

"Will you get your lazy ass off that bed?" Jason said as he barge into Bryan's room.

When Bryan didn't respond, Jason angrily marched towards his bed and yanked the duvet away from his body. Bryan opens his eyes sleepily only to meet that reason glaring at him.

"Hey...Why are you all dressed up, is it morning already " Bryan asked as he sat up.

"Isn't the answer glaring enough or are you too blind to notice how bright it is already? For f*ck sake, what is the use of your f*cking alarm clock if it can't wake you on time? Or maybe it does and you always turn it off". Jason rant. He just doesn't get why Bryan always has to be the last to wake up. Even though they went to a club last night, that still didn't give him enough reason to wake up late right? After all the rest of them are already up and dressed for school.

"Calm down buddy, I don't know if you woke up on the wrong side of the bed. But can you please tell the maid to bring me a hangover soup? I am having a terrible headache right now" Bryan said as he dragged his feet to the bathroom.

Jason scoffed and walked out of the room, he just can't wait to see the new beautiful faces at their school.

"Flirty mode activated" he muttered in a sing-song manner as he skidded down the stairs.

{The Richard apartment}

Ciara stared at herself for the umpteenth time in the mirror. She was with Bianca in their room. Both of them were silent. Bianca sat on the bed behind Ciara and kept staring at her.

Ciara used her hand to draw her skirt a little as she kept staring at herself as if she had suddenly grown horns. Bianca knew what was going through her cousin's mind but decided to keep shut.

Ciara had just bought a new uniform. Bianca and her mum had gotten it for her when they went to pay her (Bianca's) tuition fee a week before resumption. Her mother had decided to buy her a new uniform since the one she was wearing was already worn out. After all, this is their final year in high school and the one she was wearing was the one given to her since year one when she got a scholarship to the school.

Bianca had helped her choose a normal skirt rather than the big nerdy one she normally put on. What did Bianca have in mind when she chose this skirt for her when she knew pretty well that she is a nerd? Probably, she was picturing a sexy nerd.

"Don't you think this is too short???" Ciara asked her cousin.

Bianca looked at her as she continuously drew her skirt down, then stood up and walked out of the room. She just doesn't get that girl, Like what the hell is she trying to cover? The skirt was just an inch above her knee and her socks covered up to an inch below her knee.....So what else is she trying to cover?

Back in the room, Ciara picked up her backpack and headed for the door but then, she ran back, removed her uniform, and put on the old one. She will just wear the new one tomorrow when she is going with Bianca at least she won't be too shy since they are two.

After changing she picked up her backpack again and walked out of the room.
