Summary
After the car accident, my husband’s body was damaged, leaving him impotent. To help him recover as soon as possible, I took him for a prosthetic transplant. The surgery was successful, and he recovered well. Just as I was praising him for being well-endowed and skilled in bed, a stranger suddenly showed up at our door. He claimed his dead brother was hidden in our house. While we were still puzzling over his words, he pointed at my husband’s newly transplanted lower body. "See? His corpse is right here."
Chapter 1
My name is Beth, a young married woman.
A month ago, my husband was suddenly in a car accident, and it damaged him where it mattered most.
The doctor said the injury was irreversible. Aside from basic bodily functions, he shouldn’t expect anything else to work.
My husband refused to accept it. After being discharged, he tried several times to make things work with me, but nothing came of it. He fell into a deep depression.
After wrestling with it for a long time, I carefully brought up the idea.
"Honey, let’s get a prosthetic implant. Medical technology is advanced now—it can fully restore you."
He stayed silent for a long time before finally accepting reality, his voice hoarse.
"Alright. Whatever you say."
The next morning, I took him to the best urology hospital in the city.
The attending doctor led us into the examination room and laid out a row of molds on the table.
"Take your pick. What style and size do you prefer?"
The sizes were shockingly large, making my face burn.
They were so lifelike, even the veins in an engorged state were meticulously recreated. It was impossible not to let the imagination wander.
My husband was just as stunned, his eyes filled with envy.
"Can it really be done to this degree?"
Dr. Chen smiled faintly, confident.
"Even better. It’ll feel like it was always yours."
After a brief discussion, Dr. Chen said he needed to perform a full examination on my husband and asked me to wait outside.
I found it strange and couldn’t help wondering—after so many years of marriage, what was there to hide?
But thoughts aside, I obediently stepped out.
Half an hour later, my husband emerged with a pleased smile.
"Let’s go pay and schedule the procedure. Once the materials arrive, we can proceed."
I frowned, puzzled.
"Aren’t prosthetic implants standard? Why wait for materials? Hospitals should have plenty—they could schedule the surgery for today."
He shook his head, speaking mysteriously.
"You don’t understand. Good materials need to be the right fit. Only the right ones can achieve that natural feel."
Seeing how excited he was, I didn’t press further. We paid and booked the appointment.
