Chapter 8

The next day. After yesterday smoking and drinking with tiara, I feel calmer. But I know when I see him, it's not going to last.

I went downstairs, hoping I wouldn't see him downstairs but I ended up bumping into him.

We haven't talked for days. I feel angry at him but at the same, I don't. I don't know how to explain it.

Know I have to choose to either move on or fix things with my ex-boyfriend.

'"Sorry, "I said as I continue walking but he grabs my arm.

"Can we talk?" he said as I lead the way to my room.

"Talk away," I said as he enters my room.

"Look, what happened was nothing, it meant nothing," he said, what an asshole.

"Yeah, do you do that to every girl then say it meant nothing," I said in an angry voice.

"No," he said.

"You sure about that," I said as I push past him to open the door for him, he doesn't move out of the way.

Then he moves back.

"Yeah, I know I'm an asshole," he says as I slam my door shut on his face.

God, I am an idiot. How can I be so heartless, I kissed him back so it's on me too, and I end up making him feel like the bad guy.

"You're my brother's best friend, I can't do this Jacob," I told him as he was about to leave but he stopped.

"I know but I don't care," he said as he walks up to me.

"No, I promised him," I said.

"Give me a chance to prove to you I'm not a bad guy," said.

" But-t-t" he didn't let me finish.

"Hey Jacob, let's head out man" my brother shouts out.

"Alright man, be there a second" he shouted back.

"I have to go," he said as he looks at me like he didn't want to go.

He walks downstairs but comes back.

"What is it?" I said as he looked at me.

He kisses me. I kiss him back.

Jacob-

Missing me ready.

Me-

Ha-ha very funny

Jacob-

I miss your lip.

Me-

I Miss yours too but I don't think I can go through with this.

Jacob-

Your brother doesn't have to know, it's between me and you.

Me-

Okay

A couple of hours later my brother knocks on the door, I open it, Jacob was with him. My phone vibrated.

It was Jacob, he texted me.

-Jacob

I want to kiss you

-me

Then do it

They both come into the house as my brother goes to the kitchen.

Jacob grabs me around the waist and kisses me then we pull away when we hear footsteps.

I leave them alone and go upstairs.

After having a week of university, I start again today.

University was so dead, that I ended up talking to my best friend. Jacob sits next to me.

"What are you doing, are you out of your mind," I said as I look around if anyone is looking.

"Geez, calm down, your brother told me that we are sitting with you," he said as he laughed.

My brother comes and sits with us.

"So, my girlfriend thinks I am cheating on her," he says as he sits down without even saying "hello how are you".

"But you are cheating on her" I point out. he looks at me and shakes his head. I turn to look at Jacob.

"Thanks, like I didn't know already," he says as I look at him holding back laugher.

He gets up and goes to talk to his girlfriend.

It's just me and Jacob staring at each other.

We got Interpreted by tiara, Jacob gets up and leaves.

He winks at me as he leaves.

I smile.

I talk to tiara while we eat.

After university, we head home.
