##Chapter 2

At Damion's command, two burly guards pushed through the door.

Their hands were wrapped with chains carved with silver runes. When they touched my coat, the silver's burning heat mixed with the cold, drilling into my skin like venomous serpents.

I shuddered violently—not from pain, but because these chains could suppress Alpha bloodline, making my strength plummet into an abyss.

The chains tore through my shoulder, ripping away my coat. The cold immediately bit into my exposed skin, turning it red with patches like flames and frost tearing at me simultaneously.

My body was already sensitive to low temperatures. This cold came not only from the air but from the deliberately arranged "Ice Vein Formation" in the moon prison—the ice elements within the formation would flow backward through my bloodlines, directly destroying a werewolf's self-healing ability.

Outside, the clan members watched excitedly, spirit messages scrolling:

[She's shivering now—won't last much longer.]

[Serves her right! What did she expect, using her status as Silver Moon's eldest daughter to oppress Omegas?]

[Wait until frost forms in her bone marrow, then let's see how arrogant she can be.]

Damion looked at me, his lips curving into an ambiguous smile.

"Unless you publicly apologize, don't expect to walk through that door."

Mary's eyes filled with tears, her voice soft as melting snow: "Damion, forget it... She just dislikes me, that's why she splashed ice water all over me in the council chamber, making my body temperature go out of control..."

In that instant, the sickly sweet pheromones in the air grew thicker. Several lower-ranking Beta guards' breathing became labored, clearly affected by her pheromones.

I scoffed inwardly—she had clearly knocked over the crystal cup from the ice formation herself, then played the victim. The Alpha elders present had seen it all clearly, but no one broke the pretense out of courtesy.

The anger in Damion's eyes burned even brighter.

"She dared splash water on you? Then let's splash water on her too!"

A bucket of ice water poured down from above—it was "Cold Spirit Spring" stored in the formation, more bone-piercing than any snow water.

The cold slithered through my hair, neck, and spine like living serpents, drilling into my bone marrow and freezing my blood.

I gritted my teeth, my fingertips turning white from hypothermia. The moon prison's temperature kept dropping, my breathing became rapid, each inhalation felt like swallowing razor blades.

Damion watched, sneering coldly: "Stop acting. That's just warm water—it'll take a while to cool down completely. You think I'll be fooled by your theatrics?"

But the next moment, the ice veins in the formation began resonating, and even he felt something was wrong. Cold seeped from the moon prison's cracks, crawling up my skin along the silver chains.

I could feel my wolf form retreating, the power within my body being stripped away bit by bit.

The hypothermia brought not simple cold, but deadly heat—a dying person's delusion, luring prey to shed their own fur and accelerate death.

I struggled to lift my head, my voice low as the last ember in the wind: "Damion, you've truly forgotten—who put you in your current position."

He didn't respond, only made the formation run more violently.

The cold wind cut like knives through my skin, my blood nearly freezing solid.

Before my vision blurred completely, I heard a low roar emerge from my chest—not directed at him, but a defiance against this cage.
