Chapter 2: Crushing

"You should've seen the look on your face!" Tzuyu laughed at Chaeyoung's face.

"Okay, I know." Chaeyoung said rolling her eyes.

Tzuyu kept laughing, "I've never seen anyone embarrass themselves that bad."

"You can stop teasing me now!"

"Chae, what's with you, what happened to you charming girls?" Dahyun asked, she leant her hand on her shoulder.

Chaeyoung shrugged, "I've never liked anyone before."

"How about that girl—."

"No! We do not speak her name!" Chaeyoung interrupted her.

"That was two years ago, can't we just say her nam—."

"No!" Chaeyoung cut Tzuyu's sentence.

Dahyun and Tzuyu both sighed in defeat.

"I can't believe it!" Sana squealed, her friends watch her as she blushed.

They were sitting down on the same bench.

"You guys are childish." Mina said, clearly looking unimpressed with them.

"Are you not chuffed that you're partners with Son Chaeyoung?" Sana asked.

Mina replied with a simple no.

The two girls gave up and moved to another subject.

"When do we leave?" Momo moaned.

Mina replied back, "After our next lesson, were you not listening, or were you looking at Dahyun the whole time?"

"Well..." She hesitated to answer, but Mina already knew the answer.

"You guys have to stop falling for them, this year is important." Mina said.

"Yet we are young and free, can't you have a bit of fun?" Sana spoke.

Mina piled her books together and picked them up, only to hear her say, "No." Then she walked away.

Walked away as in she tried to, she bumped into another person, causing all her books she was carrying dropped.

"I'm sorry, I-." Mina stopped mid sentence as she saw who she bumped into.

She was faced with Chaeyoung who was picking up one of her books.

"H-Here." Chaeyoung spoke as she picked up her books up.

Mina smiled respectfully, "Thanks."

Chaeyoung walked away with the other two girls behind her, she was clearly blushing.

Sana and Momo went to Mina who looked back at Chaeyoung.

"How can you not like her?" Momo asked whilst tugging my arm.

"She... seems nice." Mina replied.

They were back in their home room this is their last lesson until they can go home early, students were already sleeping.

They sat in their own seats as they did in the mornings.

Sana and Momo are still freaking out that their crush are sitting next to them. Tzuyu and Dahyun were talking to each other.

Mina was reading her book whilst Chaeyoung watches her.

"Son Chaeyoung!" The teacher called out.

Chaeyoung jumped out of her seat a bit.

"Since you were watching Mina, could you tell me the answer." He was pointing at the board which reads:

What is the 11th term in this sequence?

2,5,8,11.

All eyes are on Chaeyoung, though people think that she wouldn't get the answer especially Mina.

Chaeyoung spoke, "The answer is 32."

In amazement and shock the class was, she was right.

"Well done, Ms Son." Then the teacher went back to teaching.

"I thought you would get that wrong." Dahyun whispered to Chaeyoung.

"I thank you for the lessons, Dahyun." Chaeyoung smiled.

"Wanna get another question?" Tzuyu glared at them.

The teacher went out for a while and the class were just talking.

MiSaMo moved to talk to each other whilst DahChaeTzu did the same thing.

Sana and Momo were just staring at their crushes.

"You guys are obsessed." Mina spoke.

"Shh, you're ruining the moment." Momo hushed.

Mina rolled her eyes.

"Mina, why don't you join us?" Sana asked still staring at Tzuyu.

"Why would I stare at them?" She said with disgust.

"Come on, I know you have a thing for Chaeyoung."

"No I don't."

"You said you've always wanted someone who is kind and smart." Momo said.

"That was one question, she just got lucky." Then Mina when back to her reading whilst the two other girls continued to stare.

"Are they still staring?" Dahyun asked.

Chaeyoung nodded.

"Who's staring at me?" Tzuyu questioned.

"The squirrel." Chaeyoung replied.

"The cute girl who I sit next to." Tzuyu smirked.

"Is the girl I sit next to looking at me?" Dahyun whispered.

"Yup, why don't you guys talk to them?" Chaeyoung suggested.

"I don't do that, I play hard to get." Tzuyu then smirked.

"How about Mina?"

The two girls hoped an answer they were going to get, but sadly no. Chaeyoung shook her head.

Dahyun stood up and was about to walk when Chaeyoung and Tzuyu asked where she's going.

"You said to talk to her, so I am."

"Guys, Dahyun is coming over." Momo panicked.

Both Sana and Momo panicked whilst Mina kept reading her book.

Dahyun pulled a chair and sat down with them.

"I didn't catch your name." She said to Momo.

"I'm M-Momo." Momo stuttered.

"Nice to meet you and yours?" Then she looked at Sana.

"I'm S-Sana."

"I hope you guys get used to me and my friends." Dahyun smiled.

"Easy for you to say." Mina mumbled but clear enough that they heard.

"Sorry, were you saying something I couldn't hear because of how quiet you are." Dahyun joked.

"I can only hear the silence until you came." Mina laughed.

"Don't forget when we're meeting." Dahyun said as she was walking away.

Mina nodded.

The two girls looked at her confusingly.

"What... was that?" Sana asked.

"Long story, tell you later."

It was the end of the school day, students were already heading out. Dahyun, Chaeyoung and Tzuyu were walking together.

"I'm hungry." Tzuyu moaned.

"Let's eat, I'll treat you guys." Dahyun said.

"Can't, have to go to my self-defence lessons." Chaeyoung spoke.

Dahyun grabbed her shoulder and made her face her.

"Chaeyoung, this has gone too far, you have to get the police in."

Chaeyoung shrugged her hand out.

"No, if it's only going to make it worse, I don't want them to start hurting you guys." She paused. "Please, I don't want you guys to get hurt, I'll see you tomorrow." She walked away to her car where Jihyo was.

"What are we going to do?" Tzuyu asked Dahyun.

"Leave her be, then we'll get to the bottom of this."
