Chapter 2 Part II
Even the trainees, are crazy too. He couldn't understand if Rouge and Aidan really filtered them... It was as if the two had a trip.
In the evening... Amber was a little late coming home. When she arrived, she immediately went straight to her room because she was a bit drunk. There was a little party at Kuya Bard's house and that one was a welcome party. She was a little drunk on the party because only friends and acquaintances were there. She jumped on the bed and stared at the pillow. Then, she suddenly saw Siege's face on the pillow and the last thing he said. If she sue it, she will be arrested and sentenced to perpetual reclusion. After all, it don't have a bail and she can't file a motion or counter plead? Earlier, she wondered what kind of case it would sue against her. There is no such case based on what she studied. She has reviewed the Revise Penal Code several times and she can't find what it says...
"Unusual! He messed up my brain ah? Nothing like that?! That one is really crazy." she shouted.
She took a deep breath and gradually fell asleep. She slept soundly due to intoxication.
Meanwhile... Siege laughs as he remembers the words he left to Amber. The puzzling look on her face was obvious. He seems to have tested the efficiency of this lawyer.
"Sometimes, law is illegal and unjust. Not in all cases, it has to be obeyed. Sometimes, you have to disobey it to get the right. Justice law is not perfect because it is only made by man.” His opinion.
He hovered over the paperwork he was holding and started working. This has always been the routine of his life. He leaves home for work and when he comes home, he still has work to do until he falls asleep. He was used to that. But right now, he can't work because his brain is in turmoil. He thinks of Amber and the amuse on her face every time he looks at her.
He laughed when he remembered when they talked about the insertion in the rape case... She burned in red. Obviously she has no experience yet... She's innocent and it's amazing to be like her at that age. Mostly the women he met were liberated, heartless and just brainwashed. But that woman... He could tell, she's different from the others. He saw the concern in her eyes as he looked at his client Bard. A tough woman with a heart.
He took a deep breath and relaxed his brain. But her face became clearer in his eyes.
"I think that lawyer is a witch!" he blurt out.
He lowered the papers he was holding. Turns off the laptop and leaves the house. He walked around the garden until he got bored and then... The ending, he just jogged to make sure he could sleep.
