Chapter 9

They are scheduled to carry out a major rescue operation.

After they obtained the necessary information they decided to leave and return to the village where they were temporarily staying. Rock has already called Ervine and Siege. Siegfried also called his fellow Scout Rangers. More than an hour later two chopper arrived aboard Scout Rangers and Men in Action agents. Fully-armed they come. That large group approached them. Ervine and Siege lead the group.

"Good job!" Ervine said and saluted the three of them.

They also saluted back.

"We could not have done this easily if it had not been for the courage of this child, Densel. He escaped from those people and Siegfried and I saw him in the woods as we tried to hunt." Venom explained.

Ervine looked at the child and saluted. It bowed and the child looked at it. Ervine's appearance is very dominant.

"Good job, little soldier. You are brave enough to do that thing. You have the potential to be a great agent when you grow up. Do you want to be a Men in Action agent? When you are at the right age, you can go to our training camp... By the way, I am Ervine Sandoval, the Commanding Officer of Men in Action and I am glad to meet you."

He held out his hand and the child shook hands in amazement. Ervine stared at its scars and wounds on his body. At this age the child is able to withstand this kind of torture? Ervine did not speak but he was really impressed with the child in front of him.

Ervine just stared at it and stood up. They all entered the hut they were occupying there. Ervine pasted on the wall of the hut the large map of the garden and the picture of the man Rock had taken. Siege and Gin are next to it. And they, among others, stared intently at the pictures on the wall. Ervine caught their full attention.

"Big Boys! We will go around the whole place to make sure that our opponents do not escape. We will chase them like rats. The man who was in this picture was Austin Montana - a well-known businessman but also an underground Drug Lord. He was behind the kidnapping of street children and forcing them to work in its vast marijuana and opium poppy plantations. He thought that the law enforcement officers would not pay attention to it because he only took homeless children. But he was wrong.” Ervine said.

Sky raised his hand.

"What?!" Siege asked.

"What's the plan?" this question laughs.

Velvet next to him laughed too.

"After we surround the area, we will rush inside the plantation. Our fellow Scout Rangers will cover us. Our only priority here is the children. I don't have to tell you to be careful because you are all already old." Ervine said.

Everyone laughed at what Ervine said.

"The old man spoke!" Clear's reaction finally showed up.

This is the whitest of them all. They call it the White Blood Cell.

Ervine threw a pencil at him and the latter quickly withdrew. The Men in Action boys laughed and the Scout Rangers with them frowned. After they had discussed all the serious rescue tactics they set out.

They split into groups... Venom was with Rock, Aeon and Gin. They were in the back of the garden, near the old house which was quite large. The Scout Rangers are not far away ready to cover their entry. Everything is ready.

There are six guards at the back of the garden. They seem to be complacent that they cannot enter because there are only a few designated guards in the area. Anyway... They are all holding strong calibre guns. Gin walked first. It crawled into the fence and cut the barb wire that serves as a fence there for them to pass more easily. He hid behind a tree and slowly approached one of the guards on the side of the building. When Gin got the time was... It suddenly choked the man and then nothing broke his neck with just his hands. The man fell down and Gin simply pulled him away to hide. After that Gin sign to them that everything is ready. They started to enter the area and they spread around followed by the others. No one has noticed their group yet.

They heard a series of gunshots and the guards were alert to where they were. They finally showed up and quickly exchanged gunfire. They hear the big commotion in the garden. They run fast at that moment. Scout Rangers quickly shoot at opponents who try to approach them, anyway... They are not losing their alertness.

There was a door at the back of the house and there they passed. Gin is still leading their group followed by Rock. They climbed the stairs and shot every enemy they passed. Every room in that house they open. Aeon opened a door that was full of girls... They were trembling with fear when they looked at them and at the guns they were holding. They felt even angrier in these moments because they seemed to have an idea of why the girls were locked in that room. How unpleasant! They do not fully imagine that there are people who do such a thing.

"Gin and I will take care of them. Go around this house first so that you can find more children." the language is Aeon.

"Okay!" Rock replied.

Venom and Rock climbed to the top of the house one after the other and every time they encountered an opponent, they quickly shot. Their attack was surprise so they know the opponents are not ready. They easily did what they had to do. They stopped on the terrace of the house... There was a man with a hostage girl. His gun was aimed at the girl's head.

"S-Stay where you are! Don't come near! Or I will kill this child!" the man said desperately to them.

This is the man that Rock had taken a picture earlier. This is the owner of the illegal plantation. The shameless demon that kidnapped innocent youths. The hostage girl's whole body trembled and she was terrified to look at them. They are calm. This situation is not new to them.

"The best thing is, just give up. Let go of that girl. Don't fight anymore because almost all of your staff are dead. We are already surrounding this area and you have no escape." the language is Venom.

The man pressed the gun harder on the girl's head and stabbed her in fear. Its body is full of scars and its hair is very messy. She was only sixteen years old and she was crying. Throughout the moment his attention was focused on it and its demon hostage taker.

"I'm not stupid just to give up. You'd better just let me go. And then this girl will live. Let me escape." the man spoke strongly to them.

Its hostage trembled even more. Extreme fear is obvious.

"Huh, we can't agree on what you want." Rock said here.

The man stared at their faces angrily and then smiled.

"In that case, this child will die."

"D-Don't..." the hostage said sharply.

It cried all over. Only then did it pass on the fear it felt. Venom signaled to his companions that he would be the one to talk. He has been subjected to many battles and this one will not be difficult for him because he is used to dealing with demonic people.

"Relax there, don't be hot. Have mercy on that child. Just give up because you are the only one left. Why not look down to find out the situation? All your staff are rocking... They are dead because they chose to fight. Be practical. When you are in jail, you will have more hope. You have a lot of money and you will be able to use influence to get out of jail." Venom said.

The man backed away and simply looked outside. Desperation can be seen in its eyes.

"Will you let me run away or will I kill this child?" it tickles them.

Venom looked at the girl... She also looked at him and her eyes begged. He smiled sparingly at it.

"Little lady... Are you an obedient child, huh?" he kindly asked here.

She trembles and nod softly at him. The man holding it, grinned. It thinks they already agree with what it wants.

"That's good. In that case, can you close your eyes for me, huh?" he commanded the girl.

It nodded again. It closed its eyes and tears flowed down the girl's cheeks. After that he look at the hostage taker’s face.

"Do you think we're going to let you run away? Why don't we just go together, huh?" his challenge.

Their fellow Scout Rangers were about to intervene but Rock told them not to pursue the plan. They did not interfere.

"Don't you care about this girl's life, huh? Can't you feel that she will die because of you, huh?" the man asked him anxiously.

Venom laugh softly.

"No, what do I care about that? I don’t even know her and she’s not my relative. If you are really brave, shoot her, and I will take you with her. You will die at the same time!" Venom's bold statement.

The girl burst into tears because of what he said. It remained her eyes close and they could clearly see the trembling of its lips out of fear.

"Ah, is that so?!"

The man was about to touch the trigger of the gun but before he could finally do that it was... BANG! A loud gunshot rang out all around and the girl's shrill scream. There was a lot of blood on his face.

"M-My hand!" the man shouted.

Venom shot the hand of the man holding the gun. He released the girl and wiped his broken hand. It backed away and as a result, it fell from the terrace of the house. They heard its cry and the strong collapse of the body. They were just shaken by what they witnessed. They quickly approached the girl who was very trembling with fear. It closed tightly her eyes more.

"That's enough... You're safe. I'm sorry to you earlier. I had to be violent to scare the opponent. That's really it." the language is Venom.

He wiped its face. She slowly opened her eyes and was stunned to see the blood on the handkerchief he wiped on its face. Suddenly she burst into tears and all he could do was comfort him. He sighed violently. He apologized to the child over and over. He knows that this victim got a trauma from what had happen. After that, they photographed the whole place, as evidence. But before they left, with the children they rescued, they burned the area to no avail. Man really, becomes cruel when it comes to money and power.
