CHAPTER ONE
I was awakened by a loud knock. I instantly looked at the time only to see that it’s still eight in the morning.
“It’s too early!” I complained and tried to go back to sleep. I feel so tired so I need to rest more. However, the knocks became louder.
“Sol, wake up!” A man shouted which made me open my eyes again.
I became curious because why would a man enter my condo? Who is he? I thought it was just Kyra with her random visits.
As soon as I opened my eyes, everything made sense when I remembered what happened. I am not in my condo right now.
“Fast!” He then shouted again so my adrenaline made me stood up immediately to open the door.
I was welcomed by a topless guy and I can’t help but to be mesmerized by that look. I’ve seen it already when we came here but I’ll admit that it looks better during the day. He doesn’t have that abs that you’ll drool for but still, his body shouts perfection.
“I know that you can see perfection right now,” he teased me as if he read what’s on my mind.
“What?” I asked to deny. “Stop feeding your ego, will you?”
“That’s what they all say,” he answered confidently.
He is really handsome and I won’t be surprised if a lot of girls and gays were attracted to him. However, his attitude speaks differently and I’m sure that no one will fall for this egoistic person who thinks highly of himself.
“I’m hungry. I need you to cook for me,” he then changed the topic and asked me to cook.
“But -,” I was supposed to tell him that I don’t know how to but he stopped me.
“You’re my slave. Remember that,” he reminded me and left without me answering back.
What kind of mess did I put myself into?
I know that I can’t do anything right now but to obey his command so I brushed my teeth first and washed my face before going down to the kitchen.
I really don’t know how to cook anything aside from rice cooked in a rice cooker. No wonder, the hotdogs and eggs that I cooked now for breakfast got burnt because its color is too dark compared to the usual hotdogs that I’ve eaten. I thought it was still raw when it’s red so I cooked it further but I was wrong.
“What’s that smell?” He asked curiously as he enters the kitchen.
“Obviously, it’s hotdog,” I answered sarcastically.
“I didn’t know that you can grill a hotdog with oil,” he answered back sarcastically upon seeing what I prepared.
“I don’t know how to cook,” I defended myself. “At least, you know now that I can’t be trusted in the kitchen.”
He shrugged his head because he can’t do anything anymore. I was surprised when he still ate what I made even though it’s burnt because I thought he’ll just ignore it and throw it away.
After our breakfast, I went back to the room where I’m staying to fix my things. I was so tired yesterday so I slept immediately after entering the room and I wasn't able to fix my things.
Once I’m done putting my clothes in Kyra’s empty drawer, I attempted to rest again. Unfortunately for me, my body’s too awake now to rest so I decided to take a bath and go to the mall since I don’t have anything to do at this place.
I really don’t know why I would go to the mall though. All I know is that I want to stay away from this house because I don't want to be stuck with his annoying presence.
I booked an Uber to go to the mall and once I arrived there, I wandered around the place before finally deciding to go to the bookstore and check the new available books that I can read while I’m stuck doing nothing at that house.
I went to the teen fiction section of the novels and tried to find something that will attract me. As I am looking at the novels, my phone suddenly rang and it was from an unknown number.
I answered it thinking that it is a project offer for me which I badly need right now since I’ll be buying another set of equipments for my condo.
“Where are you?” He asked as I answer and I immediately recognized who that voice came from.
“I’m at the mall right now. Why?” I asked.
“Buy some groceries at the supermarket. I’ll send you the list in a message,” he said then hung up the phone without hearing what I have to say next.
I rolled my eyes and kept my phone at my pocket again. I went out of the bookstore without anything because I’ve decided to just go at the grocery and buy what he asked.
“The total is P1450,” the cashier said and as I was about to get my wallet, I remembered that he didn’t give me anything to pay for all of these.
Good thing that I brought P1500 with me. I paid the cashier and left as soon as she hand me the groceries that I bought.
I was supposed to buy milk tea or donut before leaving but I only have P50 left with me which is just enough for me to ride a tricycle so no matter how bad I want to buy right now, I have no choice but to go back to his house empty handed.
