"Pine Avenue, California, USA

"You just have to let them know Hail, if they find out by themselves you know how its gonna be.. Jasmine said into her phone that laid on the bed as she cleaned her hair with her towel.

It was obvious she just finished having her bath..

"Think is that easy huh?" Hailey's voice came through.

Jasmine sighed and discarded her towel, she sat on the bed and picked her phone..

"I know its not easy but Hailey? you will be leaving on wednesday.. its only right they know.. besides when you find your foot in Australlia, you can resign or even take your family over there.. Jasmine said and there was silence at the other end.

"Hailey?".. Jasmine called.

"Your right you know, i should just let them know.. Hailey said and Jasmine heaved.

"Thats much better baby girl, now tell me what your doing for the night... Jasmine asked grinning.

"... Goodnight Jas" Hailey said and hung the phone.

Jasmine sighed.. the pressure was just too much on her..

She turned off her bed light and laid on the bed draping her quilt over her face..

*1:05am, Charperlian hotel, Australlia*

"F**k! that was good" a girl said pulling a quilt over her naked body.

A guy scoffed and rolled his eyes reaching for his boxers..

"Can we go for another round?" the lady asked reaching for the guy's arm.

The guy eyed her before pushing her hand away..

"Get dressed and leave right after i'm gone and don't try contacting me" the guy said as he slipped into his trousers.

"What? but i thought we are a thing now? the girl said in disbelief.

"Because we had s*x doesn't make you my girlfriend besides i can't date a girl.. he paused and ran his eyes over her.

"this cheap.." he completed and the girl's mouth fell open.

"Asha, i.." the girl trailed off as she felt a lump in her throat.

"Just dress up and leave" Asha said as he grabbed his jacket from the couch and left without another word to her..

The girl's eyes welled up and the tears came in torrent.

~Sydney, Australlia~

"Dad, you asked to see me.." Asha said as he walked into his parents mansion.

Mrs. Dawson frowned at him..

"Have you also grown so mannerless, that you can't offer a greeting?" his mum asked as he sat down opposite his parents.

His father looked at him with uncertain eyes sipping his wine.

"Sorry mum, good evening dad, good evening mum" he said but neither of his parents replied him.

He scoffed mentally, seriously?

"Dad, why did you call me here?" he asked breaking the silence that was slowly creaping in on them.

"Asha.." his father drawled moving his eyes to the table in front of him where a file laid.

Asha's eyes followed his father's and landed on the file neatly placed on the table.

He frowned slightly as he reached for it, his parents should not try getting him to sign up with a brand.. he loves singing alone.

He felt his parents eyes on him as he flipped through the pages of the file.

His frowned deepened as he raised his eyes to his parents..

"Mum, dad?" he called quizically asking for an explanation.

"You have to get married son, bring a woman home and stop with the playboy attitude, if you want my company" Mr. Dawson spoke and his wife nodded in agreement.

"Whats all this dad"? he asked trying not to raise his voice at them.

"Your father is saying, you should either bring a woman home or lose the company to your sister.. imagine how disgraceful that would be" his mother chipped in, Asha stared at her.

Sometimes he wondered if this woman birthed him, because she was always not on his side.. but thinking about her unconditional love got him pushing the thought outta his mind.

"So i must get married before i can have my own company?" Asha asked looking at his parents in disbelief.

"Tcch, tcch, not so fast son.. its still my company" his father said.

He heaved trying to calm himself down, his parents were forcing him to get married right when he was about getting to the peak of his music.

He doesn't need a wife, neither a girlfriend-.. they were only distractions.

"Remember your sister would be returning from NYC in a couple of days.. is your choice to make" his father added before leaving the sitting room, his mother was staring at him keenly.

He rolled his eyes..

"What now? he asked getting agitated by her stares.

"Do you want to ruin your life?" his mother asked and he cursed inwardly.

Another sermon..

"Mum, talk to dad.. i can't get married, not now..least not at this age, i still..

"But go around sleeping with different girls! gosh, i can't believe this.. your a superstar, yeah..my son is a rockstar! she butted in dramatically, before turning her gaze to him.

"Do you know what you tend to lose, if a s*x clip of you surfaces online? Asha, you would lose your fame, respect, dignity, the company and our names will be dragged to the mud! just find a girl Asha, and be legally married!

His mother said before standing up, she cast a glance on Asha before walking upstairs.

Asha sighed and rubbed his palms together..

Well, his mother made some sense, but he definitely can't marry any girl.. not the wh*res he's been sleeping with. Who can act as his wife?...

"Mum, i can resign if y'all don't want me leaving.. i don't want to leave too but.." Hailey said as she watched her family silent after she told them she would be going to Australlia.

"Sssh honey, we understand you better.. your doing this because you love us and won't see us starve to death but i feel your going to Australlia.. her mum paused and stared at her husband.

"... is a fulfilment of destiny" she concluded and everyone stared at her.

"Mum, you mean Hailey's leaving is God's plan? Jasper asked immediately.

"Yeah baby, lets just hope for the best and support her.. she'd done enough for us, let her go see the better part of the world" Kim said and her husband held her hand and turned his gaze to Hailey.

"We love you sweetheart, and we support you going to Australlia and hope when you find your foot, you can get a job of your own..we will alright and whenever we have enough funds, we will move in with you" Bratt said and Hailey sniffed.

Why is her family being over emotional now? it makes her want to stay.. she was expecting they would refuse but what if its destiny really calling her?

If Paige wanted her out of the way, she would had fired her instead of a transfer..

Maybe it was really destiny calling..
