Husband

As fast as she was escorted in to the house she was also escorted out of the house with those two hefty bodyguards flanking her two sides to make sure she does not escape

Even if she was given the chance to escape she knew well enough that she will not escape, not when her mothers life was now in the hands of her father

She knew just how evil, wicked and heartless her father was. If a man can do what he was doing to his own daughter then he can do almost anything and everything evil in the world

The rolls of cars came to a stop in front of a chapel and the car door was thrown open for her to come down by one of the bodyguards

Charlotte gathered her wedding gown in her hands and came down from the car, a bouquet was thrust into her arms and she fumbled for them before getting ahold of the bouquet

The door of another car was thrown open by a bodyguard and her father and step mother came down and walked up to her

"It's your wedding day honey you need to smile, it will make you look more beautiful" her step mother told her before turning to look at her father "right darling?"

"Of course, you need to smile now before others will say that you are being forced to get married. Dad is only doing this for your own good. Don't worry you will thank me in the future when you start enjoy being a wife "

Her father and step mother walked ahead of her to the chapel while Charlotte followed behind them watching them with a cold look in her eyes

It seems like the people inside has been notified that the bride has arrived because the song playing quickly changed

He gave her his elbow and she took it without a word, she forced a smile on her face as the door of the chapel was thrown open

Her gaze went to the altar quickly and what she saw there made her to nearly stumble on her feet

Two men were standing there, one was on a wheelchair and has a mask on his face while the other was standing beside him looking all handsome in his best man suit

No one had to tell her twice before she was able to really understand what was going on, the one on the wheelchair is the man she is getting married to while the one standing beside him is the best man

Charlotte looked round the chapel and saw that there was only five people that came to attend the ceremony and she was quick to recognize one of the women

Realization finally dawned on her as she realized that she have been asked to replace her own sister for her wedding

At least he wasn't an old man, even if he was crippled and in a wheelchair he was young, she was going to check his medical records to know if he will be crippled for life or if he can walk again someday

"I do" Charlotte said without second thoughts when she was asked if she will stay with her husband for better for worst, for rich and for poor

She could feel the gaze of everyone but she ignored them and instead focused all her attention on her husband

She saw his eyes that were not covered by the mask widened for a split second before going back to normal. When it got to his turn he hesitated for a moment and Charlotte was surprised when she found herself holding her breath and praying for him to say yes

She felt him stiffen but she ignored it and continue to press her lips against his but after some time she pulled back and with her face still close to his she opened her mouth and murmured
