Chapter 8

After the day before yesterday's event, I asked Claire some things which she still hasn't explained to me clearly.

"Le.." She called sitting on the edge of the bed beside me. "You're still healing baby, please stop being angry with me. I promise I will explain things to you little by little ..uh?

"I just want to know things ..like why Green is angry at me and why it seems as if you're hiding things from me." I said which made her turn me to her and lift my face with her hand, now looking me in the eyes.

"I'm not.. I will never hide anything from you Le. I love you.. I.. You just don't remember. You know these things before baby. I don't want you stressed ..please."

"Then why won't you let me visit Blair!"

"I'm not preventing you from seeing Blair ..I just don't want you to meet Green and it's only because she doesn't trust you with me which is nonsense but nevertheless, I don't want you to see her."

"Please Claire, I want to see Blair, she was my best friend ..perhaps she can make me a little less stressed." I plead holding her hands in mine softly while I look back at her in the eye's pleadingly. I know soon she's gonna let me go.

"Ok. But Lucas is taking you there and he'll bring you back when you're ready to return. Mom is always at home so I'm sure she'll keep Green at bare."

"Thank you." I said as I kissed her lightly on the lips while smiling happily which got me my full happy and in love wife back.

"Green got on a bike with her boyfriend earlier so I don't think she'll be an issue and mom is ..well here, somewhere upstairs. We're gonna go say hi then we will go to my room." Blair said as she walked me inside and then suddenly stopped and turned to me excitedly ..for the third time today.

"Le, I still can't believe you're here, I've missed you so much! God, you just puff ..disappeared after your mom came and whispered something to your ear." Blair continued excitedly as she took me upstairs.

"Mom, Le is here! Where are you?

"Over here! Isabella replied then muttered "I can't seem to find where Donald kept little Jane's birth certificate."

"Good morning mom" I greeted as Blair opened the library room reviewing her mom who was sitting down while being surrounded with boxes and files but now standing as she hugged me then glared at Blair who had a panicked look on her face.

"I didn't know you were coming, Nikoleta didn't tell us. That wife of yours.. Excuse me girls, let me go and prepare something for us all." Isabella said then walk out of the room

"Who's Donald?" I asked, looking at Blair who is now squatting as she packs back the files back inside the box.

"Donald is your father in-law, who also happens to be me and Green dad too, also Isabella's husband."

"Oh, Hmm.. Who's Jane?"

"Which Jane?"

"The little Jane your mom just talked about before she left."

"Emm.. Let's go to my room" Blair said now taking me outside of the library.

"What are you people hiding from me!?" I asked a little loudly as I pulled my hand off her hold. "I just want some explanation please.. I'm so confused."

After my yelling of confusion, Blair led me inside her room and directed me to sit on a sofa then she sat beside me.

"I know you want to know everything and I'm gonna tell you everything I know."

"Le..' Blair called as she grabbed my hands." You and Ni were married before.. I know you're confused but I want you to please let me explain it all to you before you'll start questioning me." Blair said as she noticed me wanting to say something.

"Ok, please do explain everything to me." I plead and she nods her head as she continues.

"We were in high school, I was fifteen then and you were sixteen. We had a sleepover and that was when you met Nikoleta for the first time .. But Ni have known you since you were fifteen.. I guess it was love at first sight but she didn't approach you because ..well, you were so young.

When you saw Nikoleta at our house for the first time, you kept coming. You told me you were going to ask her out and you did but she told you ..well the truth, that you're so young. I don't know if she turned you down or blended it but you didn't give up.

On our graduation, she came for you and you told me you two are together.

Not up to a year in your relationship you started whispering to me that you want a baby with Ni so you told Ni, who told you again that you were too young but you threatened to leave her for your then best friend Noah, who was crushing on you and I guess that made Ni agree.

You two went to a hospital. Nikoleta and a sperm donor made embryos and you carried the baby. God bless modern medicine. Also it was your idea. You wanted the two of you to partake in it which worked and you got pregnant.

On your eighteen birthday, you run away from home and made Ni marry you but on the wedding night your mom came whispered something in your ear and you willingly followed her threatening Ni that if she followed you that you're going to kill yourself and in the midnight between one or two am you sent me a message which I still can't understand the content.

The next day your mom brought divorce papers which you had already signed. Ni didn't sign it but I guess you forged her signature because two days after that day, news reached us that you're getting married to Noah that same day. Ni rushed out of the house and the next thing we know you had an accident.

Your mom died on the spot. The driver said you were trying to get down of the car to talk to Ni who caught up with you guys because of hold up and was banging on your wedding car window barefoot but you mom didn't let you.

Ni was able to pull you out of the car before it burnt and the driver survived on his own. When me and mom came to visit you at the hospital, I received a timed email that you sent to me ..stating that Claire should meet you at the purple house and that she should make a wedding arrangement which is going to happen on June thirty no matter what."

After everything Blair said my mind just kept screaming ..baby! I have a baby?

"I have a baby? Is Jane my baby name? ..wait, where's my baby!?" I yelled looking everywhere, eyes searching for my baby in case I've seen her but couldn't recognize her. But Blair surprised me by taking my breath away when she said..

"She died."
