manik slowly came to nandini nd sat beside her alerting her bt she didnt dare to raise her eyes to look at him...

Manik:*biting his lips*hii...

But what he got was jst silence making him confuse as how to make her talk to him...

Manik:umm...woh...*self-thought*shitt!!what i m doing yrr....y the hell i m getting soo nervous...godd plzz help....*to nandini*umm aap yahan par hi rehti hai??

Bt again didnt got any reply from nandini making him anxious...

Manik:*frown*aap kuch toh boliye...

Nd in reflex nandini jst got up nd was going to take a step ahead bt before that manik hurriedly caught her wrist halting her in her way making her eyes go all wide....nandini immediately started to wringle to get her wrist free making manik alert abt his act nd soo he immediately came in front of her to face her nd left her wrist saying-

Manik:i m really sry i didnt meant to hold u its jst that u were going soo to stop u i hold ur hand...i hope u r not taking me wrong...

Nd for first tym nandini lifted her face nd look into his eyes only to some warm emotions bt again in few seconds she drop down her eyes to the ground making manik giving a sad smile..

Manik:*smiles*can we become friends...

Saying this he extended his hands for her to accept his friendship while nandini looked at his smiling face then his stretched out hand nd again to his face....manik was waiting for her to accept his hand to take a step for their friendship with a huge smile on his face which dropped the very next second when he saw her running inside the orphanage nd getting vanished in thin air making him stand there itself in confusion....

Manik:*frown*what happen to her??did i do something wrong??bt i toh jst asked for friendship then y she ran away from me....*sadly*what is it nandini that has broken u...what is it that is stopping u to mingle with everyone...*then smiles*bt dont worry i m here naa...i dont know what happened in past bt i m sure what is gonna happen in future....abhi toh i m going nandini bt see u soon dear...

Saying this he after sparing a look to the way she ran,he also turned his steps towards exit of the orphanage nd sitting in the car he drive towards his home...

At malhotra mansion:

Manik came inn nd was immediately greeted chirpily by nyonika as she was eagerly waiting for him only...seeing him,she immediately got up nd said-

Nyonika:*excitedly*mannu tu aa gaya...cabir ne bataya k tu uss jagah gaya tha jahan woh rehti hai...tu milla usse??kya bola usne??kaisi hai woh...haaye tune toh mujhe uska photo bhi nahi dikhaya hai abhi tak...aur mujhe yeh bata k-

Manik:*cutting her in between*mom mom mom shanti meri maa....aap mujhe bolne toh do..aap khud hi kabse bole jaa rahe hoo...lekin sabse pehle let me change into casual plzz phir mein aapko sab batata hoon...

Nyonika:haan haan jaldi jaake change karke aa tab tak mein tere liye coffee banvati hoon...ab khada kya hai jaana jaldi jaake aa aur mujhe bata k kya hua udhar...

While manik jst shook his head at his mother's excitement nd went to his room to get change...

After changing he came down nd went to sit beside his mother...he sat on sofa beside nyonika nd she passed him his coffee mug nd waited for him to start while manik on feeling her constant gaze said-

Manik:dont stare like this mom as if u r gonna eat me raw...

While nyonika jst hit him on his head making him chuckle...

Nyonika:*whinned*mannu batana kya hua wahan...tu milla kya usse??

Manik:*keep his mug on centre table nd sigh audibly*haan i went to meet her nd i met her also...

Nyonika:toh kya bola usne??

Manik first thinks abt his recent encounter with nandini in garden nd how she ran away nd then turning to nyonika,he shared everything with her without any hesitation...

Nyonika:*frown*hein??matlab usne kuch nahi bola matlab literally kuch bhi nahi?

Manik:*sigh*nahi mom she didn't even utter a single word....i dont know what has happened with her that she is lyk this...

Nyonika:par tune orphanage k owner se kyu nahi pucha??

Manik:mom i asked her bt she said k she cant reveals someone's personal issues to anyone without her concent nd she is also right at her place...

Nyonika:*worriedly*haan lekin mannu aise toh phir tu kaise usse baat karega aur kaise usse apne dil ki baat batayega beta??

Manik:*taking her hands in his*dont worry mom i will try my best to know abt her bt i guess thoda tym dena hoga....mother ne bhi yahi bola tha k she cannot trust anyone easily issi liye shayad she is not trusting me also bt aap tension mat loo,aaj nahi toh kal i will definetly make her talk to me...

Nyonika:lekin kab tak tu aise hi betha rahega manik...dekh mein yeh nahi keh rahi k woh ladki galat hai lekin mannu abhi tu 26 ka ho gaya hai aur next 2 month mein u will turn 27 phir tujhe apni lyf bhi toh settle karni hai...

Manik:*sigh*i understand mom k aap kya kehna chahte hoo bt now when i have started loving nandini,i dont think i will b able to give her place to any other girl...

Nyonika:*sigh*thik hai jaisa tujhe thik lage lekin mannu plzz beta thoda apni lyf ko settle karne k baare mein soch lee..at the end of the day yeh business,yeh fame aur baki sab ek taraf hota hai aur apni family ek taraf...tu itni mehnat kar raha hai aur paise kamaa raha hai par agar koi hoga hi nahi jiss pein tu isse kharch kar sake toh yeh paise kis kaam ke!!!tu samaj raha hai naa mera bacha k mein kyaa kehna chahti hoon??

Manik:*smile at care*dont worry mom mera dil kehta k bahut jald nandini mujhse baat karne lagegi...

Nyonika:i hope soo....

Manik:achaa mom ek urgent meeting hai clients k saath toh mein study mein hoon nd plzz sabko bol dijiyega ki koi mujhe disturb naa kare...yeh meeting bahut hi imp hai...

Nyonika:*caressing his hair*thik hai tu jaa...

Manik nodded nd went to his study room for attending meeting whereas nyonika said seeing his retreating figure-

Nyonika:babaji mere mannu ne itne saal tak kabhi kisi ladki ki taraf bhi nahi dekha lekin aaj pehli baar usse kisise pyaar hua hai...aap plzz uska pyaar pura kar dijiyega...mere mannu ko uske hisse ki khushi de dijiye...usse uska pyaar mil jaaye bss...

Saying this she also went to kitchen nd the rest of the day passed very quickly wid manik attending meeting followed by dinner with nyonika nd going to bed...

In manik's room:

It is 10 in night nd manik is sitting on his bed in tracks nd vest after taking his dinner staring his cell phone from past 30 mins....well actually not staring but talking to the photo of his girl...

Manik:what has happen wid u nandini in past that u r lyk this....i soo wish to take ur all pain bt then i toh dont even know that exactly what have saddened u this much...i jst wish that one day u let me inn ur personal space nd i hope that day come soon bt for now good night nd have a beautiful sleep...

Saying this he kissed her forehead in the photo nd after admiring her for more 10 minutes,he finally click off his cell nd keeping it on side-table,he slipped into covers closing his eyes only to be engulfed by nandini's dream...

Nxt morning:

Manik woke up a lil early nd wishing a warm good morning to his girl, he got freshen up followed by breakfast with nyonika nd then left for his office...

Luckily today manik was not late rather he was lil early which did confused others' as nowadays manik's schedule was highly imbalancing bt manik gave noo heed to their stares nd fastened his steps to his floor nd then to his cabin...

Manik did his routine work till lunch nd then asked armaan to cancel his lunch meeting as he is busy today...

He then took his car keys nd immediately dispersing driver nd his guards,he drove his car to the place where the queen of his heart resides...

He parked his car outside AASHTHA ORPHANAGE nd carrying some plastic bags,he entered the orphanage nd directly went to the main hall where already young girls were sitting forming a huge circle with their plates whereas nandini was serving them their lunch nd it did bought a smile on his face...

When he was busy adoring nandini,mushkan saw him nd soo she happily nd loudly call him gaining everyones' attention...

While nandini looked at him with frown nd then looked away nd again started serving food to the girls while her this avoiding pinch manik...

But nevertheless he composed himself nd said-

Manik:umm girls i have got pizzas for u...soo who wanna eat??

Listening him everyones' eye twinkle except nandini nd for the first tym she spoke-

Nandini:*slowly nd politely while looking down*lekin banaya hua khana waste hoo jaayega...

Nd manik felt the peace hearing her soothing,smooth voice which made him fell for her once again...

Manik:yss lekin phir pizza bhi waste hoo jaayenge....

Manik was waiting for her to reply or counter-back but nothing come rather nandini jst stood there bitting her lower lips making manik goo all awee on her...finally he suggested...

Manik:lets do one thing...let them only decide what they wanna eat...

Nd he looked at nandini for any reaction nd soo nandini jst nod slightly looking at floor which made him happy that atleast she reacted...

Manik:chalo pretty girls lets have lunch....*to nandini*umm let us both also joint them???

He asked raising his eyebrows while nandini said-

Nandini:*without looking at him*i m not hungry...

Nd saying this she walked out leaving a disappointed manik behind...manik hurriedly passed the pizza boxes to the girls nd followed nandini instantly to see her sitting on the same bench in the garden they sat yesterday...

Manik gathered some courage nd came to her nd settle down beside her while feeling him beside her,she slide herself a little away from him making a safe distance between them which did hurt manik a little but to ease the situation he tried talking to her...

Manik:umm y didnt u had lunch there??

But what he got in return was jst silence like yesterday nd soo he continued-

Manik:*to lighten situation*hey listen i wont eat u up...tumhe mujhse darne ki jarurat nahi hai...

Listening him,this tym nandini dare to look at him for a second or two before shifting her eyeballs back to the ground...

Manik:*frown*tum baat kyu nahi karti??see u can share wid me whatever has happened wid u...may b i can help u out...

Nd thats it,soo many flashes of past came in front of her eyes like some film nd eyes got welled up wid tears filling it...she immediately got up nd ran away from there leaving a  shocked nd devasted manik behind jst like yesterday bt then he remeber mother's talk "bt let me aware u that is not gonna be easy for u child as she hardly trust anyone" which did encourage him that not now bt definetly one day she will respond nd wid this determination only,he left for his office sparing a look the way she ran away...
