ARIANNA DIDN'T COME BACK.

Arianna and Lina had their lunch at KFC,where they had yam fries with chicken with a hot sauce.

They went to the park to have fun and also went to church to confess. By the time they were done with their it was time for dinner, which they decided to order Italian takeout when they get to Lina's apartment.

Lewis waited for four hours to be called when Arianna arrives but there was no call from the servants and he hasn't also heard from Arianna.

He went down to ask the servants and they told him she hasn't come back yet.

He went on to eat his food alone after it was heated.

He went to Lina's room and sat on her bed,he took her teddy bear which she uses to sleep and smelled her sweet rose flower scent.

He left her room after some time and called Arianna.

Arianna ignored his calls several times but later got tired of the annoying ring tone and off her phone.

Lewis got impatient and called Lina but she also didn't pick up the call.

Arianna got ready to go to bed but was called by Lina to come to the living room. She went to the Living room only to see Lina blocking Lewis from entering the room.

"what's going on?" Lewis was very impatient and hurriedly pushed the door and entered the room to stand in front of Arianna.

They stared at each other for some time. Both with different feelings.

"It's so late,why didn't you come home?"

Lewis asked her anxiously.

Arianna turned her back to him.

"what home are you talking about Lewis?"She asked him trying very hard to keep her emotions at check.

Lewis was stunned,he didn't know why this girl is behaving unreasonable today.

"What do you mean?"He asked her.

Arianna wanted to go with him but when she thinks about him having a fiancee and her feelings for him it would be safe for her to stay away.

"Lewis.. I'm not going back with you"Tears drop on her face as she said these sentence,her heart even tighten. She wiped away her tears gently and turned back to face him composing herself.

Lewis couldn't understand why she didn't want to come home with him. He just stared at her gently hoping she would reason a bit.

"Lewis,I'm really thankful for whatever you have done for me and my friend but I'm fully recovered from the shot now and I wouldn't want to be a burden to you anymore" She said everything in one breathe with a forced smile.

Lewis smiled at her childishness.

"Yes,you have recovered but the shooter is still on the loose and he has also seen your face,so Aria,I can't risk your safety" Lewis used the shooter as an excuse to bring her back to his house.

Lewis doesn't know why but he feels at he since Arianna came to stay with him and he doesn't know why this girl's decision is affecting him like that of his mother.

Arianna has just been with him for just three months but she knows him so well that she knows if she doesn't convince him to agree with her,he can carry her in his arms and send her away but she wants sometime away from his alluring charm to protect her heart from getting hurt.

"fine,blue eyess"she said teasing him

Lewis held her hands and pulled her to the door but Arianna stopped,pulled her hand out of his hands and pushed him outside and closed the door immediately.

All this happened in a swift moment that he didn't get a chance to react.

"Lewis,this is my decision but since you want to guard my safety then pick me up after a week." Arianna said panting.

Lewis regret letting his guard down around this girl. He sighed helplessly and he left.

When Lewis returned home it was around 9:00 PM.

He ate dinner and went to the study to work for two hours.

He went to his room,took his bath and went to bed but he couldn't sleep.

He tossed in bed for God knows how long.

Arianna also tossed in bed recalling how they met and his help to her.

Lewis recalled how she had nightmares and how he had to hug her to sleep and he really missed those memories.

FOR ONCE IN HIS LIFE HE REGRETS GETTING ENGAGED AT CHILDHOOD.
