Chapter Nine: Stubborn

Jacob POV.

After breakfast have passed and Oliver was done talking about camping and killers. He got up and demanded to get out and play, he love playing outside especially when in little space with wolfie taking over.

"First Sunscreen" Noah warned him.

"Nuuuuu" he screamed and ran toward the door only to be caught from the waist by Jasper our alpha.

"Sunscreen first my little prince" Jasper says cooing at him and carrying him back to toward Noah.

Oliver kept wiggling and trying to get out of Noah's arms but it was for no use.

I followed them to our bedroom where Noah was covering a crying Olli with sunscreen.

Once he was done oliver ran toward me, Noah is being very rough with Oliver today.

I sent my mate a message through our bond telling him to play nice with olli, i was only met with a glare from Noah.

"Come on baby let's go play" i tell my teary baby and carry him outside.

He wiggled out of my arms and went running out of my arms toward the door.

"Freeze Olli" i say in my daddy voice making him stop in his tracks.

I walk toward him holding his hand before i walking outside with him.

I get down to my knee so we are in same eye level and remind him of outside rules.

"Go play but stay close to the house, call me or daddy Noah, when we call your name you come home straight away okay?"

"Yes daddy now play" he say too excited about playing oustide.

I nod yes and he take off running toward the wood. Sighing i went back toward the house, he'll be distracted for the next few hours.

Walking back inside the house i found Jasper having a talk with the twins and my mate.

"I want them to stay away" my mate was arguing.

"You need to give him a chance Noah" Jasper said.

"All they do is make him cry! I won't allow that" Noah argue back.

"One last chance Betas, let them bond with the little if they mess up I'll kick them both out" he says in his alpha voice.

"Fine!!" Noah said between gritted teeth before leaving the room.

I tried to call my mate back but he was in one of his moods so i left him be.

"You guys really want a chance with Olli?" I ask.

"We do" the twins replies in union.

"You can have your chance, just don't let me down" I say and get to work.

A beta's job never end, I had things to do around the house with different pack members.

I didn't notice the time passing but three hours later I was done and olli wasn't anywhere to be seen.

"Puppy time to come home" I send through our bond but got no reply from him. Knowing Noah and his mood swings he won't offer much help.

I get outside and went on the search for Oliver, it's getting dark and he's afraid of the dark.

I tried calling him, yelling his name and even tracking his little butt, all for no use.

I was starting to panic! I had to find oliver, our best tracker happens to be Hannah, his mother. She hate her son being a puppy, hate us for being his daddies and hate the alpha for allowing all of this. The only reason why she's still in the pack is her tracking abilities.

Calling her through the pack bonds she replies right away. I ordered her to find my baby, I was met with a slight growl but she did start the search.

Ten minutes later she found him, she called me telling me where he is and that's it.

Oliver was in the last place i would've think about. He wasn't that far away from the house even, his limits were two giants oak trees, he was just there.

In the tree, hiding high in the branches. It was too high of a fall for his little body, i saw him clutched to a branch crying.

"Hey baby boy" I said calmly not to scare him. His whimpers got higher but he stayed in place.

"How about daddy come up there and get you down" i offered him.

"Nuuuuu" he screamed, reading my baby mind i knew he was afraid of a punishment for staying out too late.

"Baby I'm not mad at you" I try to assure him but to no use.

"Olli I can call Noah if you want" at the name of his other daddy his screams got worst.

"Olli baby boy, just calm down you're not in troubles"

He kept crying, I can't leave him there, I called the alpha for help. Olli is crying and trying to get there and get him will only put him in danger.

The alpha came in shortly after i called him, he too tried talking Olli into coming down to no use.

"Baby please calm down I just want to bring you down" I say trying to climb up. He started crying and wiggling when he saw me come up.

"Fine fine olli I'll stay down"

We need a new plan with my stubborn baby, I need someone who won't scare olli or make him think he'll get punished.

I got my secret weapon ready and stood away so Oliver won't be scared.

The twins climbed the tree like two pros, once they got to Oliver I saw different thoughts go through his head.

He was still scared of Noah and me even with my promise of no punishment.

Some talking got him to finally believe he'll be safe and allow the twins to carry him down.

Once safe on the ground I took him in a bear hug, he just scared ten years out of my life.

I promised him no punishment but a scolding is waiting for him at home.
