POV: Andrei Kurt Altamirano

“Bro, I’m sorry, but I won’t try to talk to that lunatic girl again just because you wanted to stalk her best friend.” Lee seriously told me as his face suddenly turned sour because of what he told me.

I put my hand on my chin – as my forehead creased.

Kean chuckled at what Lee said

But when he caught my expression – he let out a bark of laughter.

I instantly heaved a deep sigh.

This two suddenly barged in inside y condo unit – just to create chaos. It seemed like they were too bored inside their own companies that they decided to pay me a visit.

However, knowing Kean, he might have asked Lee for this.

I was trying to let my hangover out when they arrived – only to tell me that they had reviewed the CCTV camera last night and it had caught my unfaithful night with that goddess.

Damn it!

Even if she was a goddess – I still couldn’t ignore the fact that she puked on me. It was the first time that woman puked on me – instead of worshipping me.

‘What an arrogant man!’ A part of me commented – but I inwardly smirked at that.

I was just thinking about that gorgeous woman – trying to think of possible ways to find her. Of course, I couldn’t ask my secretary to do that for me – since I haven’t met him yet. And I knew that my father would immediately know about it if I asked him to find that certain girl.

However, I should not think of it now – because the two seemed to not know where she was now.

Or was it?

It seemed like they have known the woman as whoever best friend she was with last night – but they were trying to make me a bit more irritated at that.

And they were successful though.

“Come on, Lee. Just talk to her.” Kean teasingly stated – causing Lee to give him a deadly glare.

Kean just laughed his *ss out.

It seemed like something was going on between him and the other girl.

I mentally let out a deep sigh – as I massaged the bridge of my nose.

My two best friends were making my head ached more.

Damn it!

It was a good thing that I didn’t go to the company today. My father told me to postpone my first day – which was a such good news for me – since I still have a hangover. I don’t have to asked him why – or else he might have asked me to go instead.

I admit, I was still thinking about the girl last night.

And Lee suddenly told me that he knew who had dragged that gorgeous lady last night. I wanted to know more about it, but I knew that my two best friends wouldn’t just let it pass without teasing me.

So, I would just shut my mouth off with that.

“I’m not a stalker, okay? If you don’t want to talk to her. Then just let it be.” I corrected them defensively.

But I knew myself better. I didn’t sleep just thinking about her.

To be honest, I had met a lot of girls before, but I hadn’t encountered such beauty. She looked like a deity, looking at a mere human like me.

Even Emily’s beauty pales in comparison to hers.

Well, Emily is an epitome of beauty, while this mystery girl is the beauty itself.

‘Why are you even comparing them, dude? They’re different.’ I restrained myself with all of my sudden uncalled thoughts and judgements.

I couldn’t help but to think about that mysterious lady. The soft and delicate body of hers. Her sweet and enticing smell and her enigmatic cobalt blue eyes.

And her soft lips pressed against me.

Damn!

I couldn’t help but touch my lips as I remembered everything that happened last night.

“I think that little guy with diapers just hit him.” I was taken back to reality when I heard Kean teased me.

I shook my head and coughed lightly – that made them laugh at me.

It seemed like they really teasing me because of my drifting thoughts.

Darn it!

This two had me now, huh?

“Don’t you have any work that you’re disturbing me here?” I suddenly said – as I wore my stoic face.

I couldn’t believe what that woman was doing to me. I wasn’t a believer in love at first sight. Well, love was such a big word – attraction, perhaps.

Yes.

I was attracted… at her. But I didn’t know that I could be easily attracted to Emily.

“Come on, man, this is your chance to forget that witch.” Kean bluntly stated – causing me to throw a death glare at him.

Kean and Lee were too frank with their dislike of Emily, and now, I already knew why. But I still couldn’t deny the fact that I didn’t like them, throwing harsh words towards her.

‘Even after everything that happened, huh?’ A part of me castigated me.

I let out a deep sigh.

It looked like I was really such a hopeless guy when it comes to that particular topic.

“Fine. I’ll try to talk to that lunatic lady. But I’ll just try, okay? Let fate decide whether you’ll find each other or not.” Lee abruptly interjected – making my forehead to furrow and Kean to laugh his *ss off.

His words would really too ancient most of the times.

‘Fate, huh?’ That was such a corny thing to hear – coming from Lee.

“Goodness! I couldn’t believe you’re such a believer in fate, bro.” Kean loudly teased Lee – making the latter get annoyed and instantly bid his goodbye.

I chuckled inwardly.

Kean and his really f*cking mockeries.

“Just find her, bro. Fate was just a f*cking word. It doesn’t control anything.” Kean swiftly advised me before he bid his goodbye and followed Lee – with his playful sarcasms.

I slightly shook my head because of my two best friends. Then, I leaned against the huge black and white sofa to relax myself.

But the face of that woman suddenly appeared in his thoughts – making me curse out loud.

“Am I bewitched?” I murmured under my breath – as I took a deep breath.
