“Urghhh! Who is disturbing my morning sleep!” I said to myself in frustration because of continuous ringing phone.

“I am not picking up! Go…Shooo!” I cursed taking a pillow near my ears!

Noo! Not picking up!

But this stupid phone kept on ringing so after many failed attempts of sleeping and closing my ears I finally picked it up!

“Helllo!” I snapped without seeing the caller id.

“Did I disturb you?” Lexi said from the other side.

“You know my morning sleep….. why did you call by the way?” I said getting up and removing my hair from the now messy bun. Letting my hair free I sat on the balcony.

“Ohh… you went home yesterday, I wanted to show you the mansion…… since we shifted here again.” She said sulking.

“I am sorry Lexi…. My head was spinning.” I said.

“Ohh… I hope its not spinning today! I wanted to say you that I am pregnant…. Again! And the adoption formalities are also completed!” She shrieked.

“What!... Woaah that was fast Lex!” I shouted.

“Yeah I know but I am happy! Ohhh by the way……. I am face timing you right now! I want to show you the mansion as well as twins separate rooms! Chase’s room also!” His room? What type of walls he preferred?

Siana! Ignore!

Yes! Ignore her…. No! Chase!

“Si?” “Ahh… Yes!”

“I am converting this call into video!” No! Don’t…… it will break my resolve!

“Umm… Lexi! I have to take bath…. We can talk later right?” I asked.

“No! You can’t deny a pregnant lady! We will do it now!” And she did! I don’t understand why we can’t deny a pregnant lady?

“Hiii! My god….. You are looking beautiful!” Really?

“You too are looking beautiful! Look at the glow! When did you learn about your pregnancy? And why am I the last person to know?” I asked getting fake angry at her.

“Ohh…. My pregnancies are like this only! I didn’t know about this few days before and when I got to know…. We were busy shifting everything! And I said to everyone…. even Kian yesterday itself! I was waiting for the reports you know!” And she talks a lot!

“Great! Congratulations!” I smiled widely at her.

“Thanks! Hey by the way this is our room!” And with that she started with the mansion tour! After showing me pool area, home theatre, hall, kitchen, store rooms, Lia’s room, MIL’s room…… Wait! I mean her MIL.

“This is Richie’s room… wait I will knock.” Fuck!

“No! I mean that’s enough for the day Lex! We spent like half an hour while enrouting the mansion!” I said and was about to cut the call……. But a voice stopped me.

“Lexi…… I am hungry.” Awww! I wish he talks to me like that! How much I would love it?

“Okay baby! Come here….. Let’s first give Aunt Si a tour to your Dad’s room! Then we will have breakfast? See she is beautiful right?” No…. he is! She showed him my face and the smile wiped off his face! He looks so cute in his night attires! Blushed cheeks, pink lips, big round eyes…. Just like his Dad!

Nice way of coming back to reality!

What should I do?

Talk to him or ignore?

What’s the use of talking to him… he will just ignore you!

Right but… at least one ‘hi’?

Yeahh… go for it! And then don’t say I didn’t warn!

“Ummm…. Hi Chase!” I smiled happily at him. And…. Slowly that smiled slipped off my face when he just frowned.

“Chase… say Hi to Si.” Lexi said.

“Hi.” And he said. I should be happy that he responded …. But I am not. I don’t want forceful responses from him! That hurt even more than him saying me ‘Hate you’.

“Lexi….. What are you…” Richard stopped whatever he was saying after seeing me. My god! He looks handsome in tracks!

“Ohh.. Richard I was just giving a tour of mansion to Lexi! Mind if I show her your room?” She asked.

“I mind! And Lexi don’t show her Chase’s room also!” He said glaring at me as if he will come from the screen and kill me! Bloody arrogant bastard!

“Richie! You….”

“Lexi…… Just stop it. She will not come near Chase and that’s final!” Richard said.

“She is not! I am just giving her tour…” Why am I even listening?

“Lexi….. show me my kiddo’s rooms.” I smiled sadly at her and she did the same with me.

“Chase you want to show your room to Siana?” She asked hopefully but I already know the answer to it!

“No.” He said… as predicted!

“See? I told you! He doesn’t want to be near her so please stop trying! Come Chase…. We will have breakfast.” With that Richie and Chase left from there.

“Si… I am sorry. I jus…..” If I continue this call I will end up crying infront of her … again!

“No….. I will call you some other time.” I said and ended the call.

Do cry! With that tears started coming out of my eyes. I don’t understand exactly how much I love Chase to take so many insults! I still love him……. Why? I don’t want that! I don’t like to cry…. I have to be happy!

I will not go near him! This time I will not break my promise!
