Vampire?!

Having woken up in a vampire's body, Seyan had a hard time adjusting to the fact that she was a vampire. Finally, she woke up from her unconscious state. Scanning her environment, she finally remembered her reincarnation as Seyan, a female vampire.

"Damn! This body is as delicate as a glass, " she cursed inwardly.

Since she was poisoned, she felt sickness eating her slowly. So far it was her second day in the dungeon and worst of all it was like her parents didn't seem to care. For the first time Seyan felt the situation of being unfavourable.

Reyo saw her dear miss awake so edged closer and asked, "Miss, are you ok?"

Seyan's hunger now subsided as her fangs had already disappeared. Her maid helped her up and sat up straight. She couldn't survive on mere blood and besides, she would make sure she won't drink blood and that's her vow.

Seyan glanced at the little maid and she felt bad for her. It seemed like the previous owner usually sucked blood from her as she saw a couple of fading bites on her nape. The initially fine skin of the young maid had now been filled with red bites. Her maid was a human, in this vampire era, she was regarded as a blood pack. How unfair and cruel?! she thought.

Reyo who had been asking her miss whether she was ok and didn't receive an answer but an intense gaze from her felt worried. "What's wrong with my miss? she's been dazed for so long," she wondered.

She waved a hand in front of her, however, Seyan didn't blink even for a second as she maintained an intense gaze. Seyan jolted from her thoughts when she felt Reyo shake her hand. She glanced at the worry in her doe-like eyes. Seyan pulled her in for a hug, startling the young maid. If Reyo was in the modern era, she would have been a sophomore judging from her age and little body. Seyan wanted to be her big sister rather than her young miss. She thought of her to be an adorable yet lonely girl thrown into a pit of vile monsters. In Seyan's mind, she was the ideal younger sister she wished for. She swore to pamper her.

Their hug lasted for about two minutes. Seyan didn't realize her wet eyes, however, she blinked the salty water back. The heavens had taken her luxurious life and status, throwing her into a pit of hell, nonetheless, she was given an adorable little sister as her maid. As long she followed her, she would pamper her to the end.

"Baby doll, from now on, make sure you follow me all the time, ok?" Seyan said in a firm voice that was slightly hoarse.

"Miss. I'll follow you everywhere you go," cheered the maid.

"By the way, baby doll, how can I see my parents?" asked Seyan.

"I don't know when they'll release us. But miss do you know who poisoned you?" asked Reyo who was a baby doll.

Rubbing her chin slightly, Seyan said, "Don't worry about that. The culprit will bring herself very soon."

Reyo saw the evil gaze in her miss's eyes and shivered a little. When did miss harbour such an intimidating gaze? she wondered as she realised the drastic change in her miss's character.

Her miss's shy eyes had now dissipated and only clear and straightforward eyes were now in place. Seyan stood up however, she stumbled a little from the numbness in her legs. Seyan persevered and finally managed to stand up straight and headed for the door. She tried her tactic of the broken door by force, however, because of her weak body, she only managed to inflict pain on herself.

Seyan held her shoulder in pain as she used her shoulder to bang on the door. Reyo quickly dashed towards her miss and held her arm. She swiftly rubbed it as if soothing the pain and asked concerned, "Miss, are you ok? Don't hurt yourself. It's useless."

"No. Let's try together, ok? if we want to get out here we have to do this," persisted Seyan.

Reyo looked at her young miss and saw the determination in her eyes, something that had never been in them. The two cooperated in pushing the door until finally, they successfully opened it open. The door being wooden, it cracked slightly due to the force applied. However, the two females had their shoulders sore from banging on the door. They were welcomed by the cold night breeze and since they wore light clothes, the coldness managed to bite into their flesh.

Reyo shivered from the cold breeze which wasn't the case with Seyan. She felt quite refreshed and in a good mood. The bright full moon that shone on her face, enhanced her beautiful features which she decided to show. Reyo knew her miss was beautiful but since lacked the confidence, she cowered when showing them.

The two crept down the dark corridors of the Murin Mansion, to Seyan's yard. Arriving in her yard, it was quite dark and dusty. Seeing the pale Reyo from running and the coldness, Seyan felt bad for her.

"Baby doll, get me a duster," ordered Seyan.

"Right away young miss."

A couple of moments later, Reyo returned with the duster, exhaustion displayed on her face. Seyan held Reyo's hand and took her to a small couch and told her, "Baby doll, lie down and go to sleep."

"No! No! young miss. I can't sleep when you're awake," protested Reyo, shaking her head in denial.

Placing a firm hand on her shoulder, she looked into her eyes, "Listen to me and go to sleep."

Unknown to her, when Seyan looked into Reyo's eyes, her eyes had turned red, hypnotising the young maid thus she fell asleep. Having put her to sleep, she lifted her silhouette to begin dusting when she caught sight of her reflection on a shard of a broken mirror. She saw the red colour of her eyes which slowly faded turning into light brown colour. Seyan had hazel brown eyes which were beautiful as a desert yet they harboured some danger in them.

"Such a sweet beautiful girl," she caressed the reflection in the mirror-like one would do with her favourite photo.

As if something hit her head, Seyan wondered for the nth time, "Wait, I'm a vampire?!"

She just couldn't accept the fact.
