Mrs. Rome
Annalise's entire soul was undoubtedly filled with shock as her tiny lips parted surprisingly.
Did she just head well? She was pregnant!?
“Wh-what do you mean? I… I can't be pregnant!” Once she found her tongue, the dark-haired beauty retorted sharply as her knees sunk into the large bed.
Annalise stood on it, then pointed a finger to the infuriated Greek god for a husband.
“You can't be pregnant. Is that a shitty ass joke? The possibility of you being pregnant is higher than a mountain, and why? — you fucking have nightstands with anyone!”
Luciano's rant surely didn't sit well with Annalise, and those dark eyes of hers darkened immensely in rage. What did he just say to her?
She badly wanted to slap him hard across the face but ended up clenching her fist hard — the jerk couldn't be blamed for making such an assumption.
Coupled with the darn mentality of a rich asshole that Luciano was, Annalise on their first encounter acted like a bitch.
She was drunk, and practically pleaded to be fucked — why wouldn't he consider her to be a cheap slut?
It hurt; her heart thudded in pain and, with slightly glassy eyes, alighted from the bed.
“I hate the fact that I gave my chastity foolishly to an ass wipe like you” Annalise, staring directly at Luciano, uttered icily, then began walking towards the bathroom.
“Don't worry — I'll abort it, and no one is going to know about it.”
Surely, a crucial discussion like this couldn't be concluded solely, but Luciano wasn't given a chance to say a word when a knock kissed the door.
“Dad!”
The sweet voice that resounded from the other side belonged to none other than his daughter, Lorene.
Annalise, already in the bathroom, heard him go out and then, she allowed her tears to flow.
“I hate this. I fucking hate this!” She gnashed, angered immensely; angry at herself to be precise.
Seemingly, her life turned from worse to worst ever since this diamond ring that signified her marriage slipped on her finger.
First, Seven got revealed as a psychopath fucker, she's now pregnant and for that insensitive bastard.
“Fuck you, Anna — fuck you for thinking he deserved my appreciation!” She scoffed, recollecting her initial thoughts of thanking him for saving her last night.
Annalise soon waved it aside, then glanced at her stomach.
Is she truly carrying a child in her…?
“Shit…”

Elegantly, Annalise descended the third staircase cautiously. Who knew what that brat Luciano birthed would do again?
Although she caught sight of a limo driving out, she was partially sure Lorene had gotten driven to school yet didn't take chances.
Last time, she slipped and fell then got laughed at mockingly due to Lorene purposely spilling water on the stairs.
Annalise couldn't afford to fall carelessly again — a living being was now growing gradually within her.
Annalise was headed for the dining room, where she'd have breakfast.
Since the Rome Manor was mind-bogglingly massive, a maid was kind enough to lead the way.
“The Young Mistress is here, Mistress.”
Annalise's arrival was announced, and stepping in, beheld Mrs. Rome. However, she wasn't the sole one seated at the lengthy yet classy dining table.
A blonde-haired young lady, arguably her age, sat there and her baby bump was quite evident. Was she the wife or perhaps the girlfriend of the first child of the family?
Annalise was even oblivious to his name — she had never seen him, and he didn't even attend his own junior brother's wedding.
She couldn't blame him — Luciano was a certified prick.
“Annalise, good morning.” Mrs. Rome arose from her seat and then walked over to Annalise. “Good morning, ma'am. I do hope you slept well?"
Being led to a seat, responded sweetly, and the kind aged woman nodded.
Once Annalise settled down, numerous meals, clearly mouth-watering and luscious, were placed in front of her.
She was even confused about which to start consuming.
“How was your first night here alone with Luciano, dear? He wasn't-”
“Ma'am, I… prefer we skip that topic. I do appreciate your efforts, but your son and shall never be a true couple — just a fake one for a year."
Respectfully, Annalise cut her off and caught a glimpse of the sadness in Mrs. Rome's eyes.
