Chapter 4

His nose was pierced which he inherited from his foreign father. In fact, it looks very much like its father. It was tall here and when they were together, he felt like he was an elf.

Thirty minutes later he was still wondering if he would turn off the laptop or continue writing. But the sleeping Nile seemed to feel his hesitation because he spoke immediately.

“Don't plan to extend, Karen Jasmin. Sleep. I don't want to have eyebags friends. ”

And because he was a good friend, he turned off the laptop even though he still wanted to write.

"Where are you going to sleep?"

“Yes. I'll just wait for the people on the other side to sleep before I move. Now, shut up and let me sleep. ”

Smiling he turned off the light and lay down on his bed. He was about to fall asleep when he felt Nile adjust to his blanket and the light touch of a kiss on his forehead.

“Good morning, Karen. And sweet dreams. Your sleeping habit is really weird. Two o’clock in the morning? ” it whispered softly to him.

A small smile appeared on her lips. Sweet dreams, indeed.

Karen looked up at the wristwatch she was wearing. He was late talking to their friends for fifteen minutes. But knowing her other friend, Delah who is known for being late on all walks, she is not in a hurry.

As soon as he entered the Spiral Café, one of the waiter and owner of the café, Patch, immediately approached him.

"You're late, Miss Pretty." He was about to open his mouth to explain when he raised his right hand, "But knowing your friend, Delah, it will be even later."

He smiled. Because of their constant hanging out with friends here at the Spiral Café, the six owners of the place met and became friends with them. The eight friends even wondered how the six Spiral owners became the waiter, cashier, bartender and dish washer of the café.

“Your friends are at the normal table, Miss Pretty. Anyway, you’re still pretty as ever. ” He said and winked at her.

She just rolled her eyes on him. He already knew the strength of this Patch. I really have a flirtation.

He had already walked to their permanent place here at Spiral. And he was not really surprised to see that Delah was the only one missing from them. That woman, it seems, has never been ahead of the meeting place when they talk to each other.

"Hello, Karen." Another waiter-cum-owner, Spike, greeted him.

She smiled at the man. Of the eight, it was closer to Delah. “I want tiramisu meltdown, Spike. Add strawberry parfait. ” He said not to look at the menu.

It hit him and turned around to probably go to the kitchen.

He turned to his friends. "So?"

Hannah sighed. "Why is the owner of this Spiral so handsome?" He could not count how many times he had asked that question.
