Chapter 5

After school. I decided to visit my old school and my friend. I ask Chad if he wanted to come and he said yes since he didn't have to stay after school today. We drove out of school and about half an hour later we reached the school just on time to hear the last bell ring. The kids were coming out and we waited for about ten minutes for the path to be clear so we can go in. I saw my friend Milli at his locker. I walked over and scared him. He jumped before going into defense mood. When he realized it was just me his eyes went wide in surprise.

"Holy fuck, Rumi!".he then gave me a hug, I chuckled and hugged him back.

"What are you doing here you ?"

"What? I can't visit my best friend?" I punch his shoulder.

"And I guess this is your new boyfriend". he nod to Chad

"Oh no,this is Chad he's just a friend".

Chad look away to hide his blush.

"I was just waiting on Dylan, he's at wrestling thought you should know in case you don't want to see him".

"I don't have a problem with seeing him, we're friends its okay, could you please accompany me to my former teacher, I have some sh*t I want to say"I smirk at him.

"Hell yea!"

"No one is going nowhere, not when I'm around". We turn to look at Dylan approaching, he look at me and smile. I started to feel nervous because I haven't seen him in a few months and I kind of have feelings for him still.

"Hey". He whispered and hugged me.

"Hey".I whispered back

"Dylan you're no fun".Milli whine.

"I already said it and I don't want Rumi getting into trouble...or this kid".he look at Chad

"I'm Dylan." He said and shook Chad's hand.

"Chad."

"How was wrestling?" Milli ask.

"I lost".Dyln replied.

"You're a failure, Dylan".

"So was dad's condom, now come on".

He pulled Milli ahead of us, I chuckled and walk with Chad

"So Dylan, is he your ex?" Chad whispered.

"Yea,how did you know".

"The way you two look nervous, It just came to me". He shrugged.

We walked out to the field and sat in the middle on the grass.

"Where did you get that bruise on your jaw?".Dylan ask holding my face.

I didn't want to tell him that Issac did it because even though we're not together again, he'll confront Isaac for me

"I bump in a door".

"Oh okay,be careful next time".I nod.

Ahh Dylan.

"So Isaac hit you huh, I told you to stay away". Chad said when we were going back to school for his car.

"Pssh,I hit him back, I did feel sorry for his cute face though".

"Are you forgetting about Jonathan already?" He had a smug look on his face.

"He's cute but I don't like him".I shrug

"He doesn't like you either".

"Whatever".I roll my eyes.

"But you know who do?".

"You".I smirk

"Ewww! no Issac".

"Yea right".I roll my eyes

"Well I'm not sure but I see something in his eyes when he talks to you and no matter how much you make him mad,he can't seem to hit you, apart from today whatever you did to get that bruise".

"Kid, Isaac doesn't like guys. I wish he did but he doesn't and he's an asshole, he hates me".

"I don't think so".he got in his car.

"Sure you don't cupid,see you later".

He sigh"bye".

I went back to my car and sat down. I couldn't help but think about what Chad said.
