Chapter 2

He watched her leave his office and not being able to acknowledge that he had just received a hot slap, Axel was dumbfounded because no lady had ever said no to him, talk more of slapping him but his secretary had broken that record.

Morgan went back to her post but the same energy that she had come to work within the morning, was no longer there. She was facing something difficult in that establishment since the arrival of that arrogant wicked boss of hers.

Taking her head backward as she could not continue with his harassment, she thought back to the reason why she was still working over there and that was because of her sick mother who had expensive drugs to purchase every month.

Letting out a huge sigh, Morgan sat upright and cleaning the tears that were on her eyes, she started over with her work again. Axel stood in his office while he took a look at her through the home. He can watch over the whole company, as his office was made of glasses but no one could see its interior while he could see them from inside.

"There is something special about you Morgan, and I need to find out what I can do to win you over just as the saying goes, everyone has a price", he mumbled with a devilish smile on his lips, while walking back to his table.

The day was over, so Morgan needed to go back home, her fears had hot come to the past as she had not received any calls from the Human Resource department about her being fired from her job, so she was preparing herself to leave her house to meet her mother.

" Hi Morgan, are you heading home already?", Eva asked taking out her earpiece and Morgan nodding in acceptance, Eva told her that they could go back home together as she had someone to meet in her neighborhood.

"Okay, Eva just gives me some time and we will leave".

When she was done, they both left the office heading outside to her a cab when suddenly, they saw a lady drive in a beautiful car looking all sparkling. The security agent, rushed to the other side to get the door for her but as soon as she came down from the car, a slap was what the security office received.

" Do you want to tell me that you did not see me coming from that end, that you had to wait for me to come right here?", she murmured but the officer not wanting trouble, apologized for being inconsistent but the rude lady just told him to keep the key to her car as though it was his life, because should anything happen to her car, he was going to lose his life.

Morgan and Eva looked at her in surprise and Eva wanted to give the lady a taste of, her own medicine, Morgan held her back ad she told her to mind her business because she is one of Sir Hunter's multiple girlfriends better stay off my friend", she advised.

" Let's better get out of here before I lose my temper", she muttered, and walking out of there, they both boarded a cab.

Axel was about to leave his off suspiciously starting at home the rest of his work to be done for the day, just as he was about to get out of his office, Miranda bumped into him.

"Miranda!", he exclaimed as he wondered what she was doing it there at that time but suspiciously staring at him, she immediately asked whether there was someone in there with him.

She was his worst nightmare and if not be used his mom was mounting pressure on him to settle down to give her an heir, he could never be associated with someone like her. Not being able to control himself, Axel asked what she was doing in his office during closing hours but Miranda being a nag as always, brought up irrelevant issues like him not being happy to see her in his office.

" But that is because a cell phone is created for purposes like choosing you don't just barge in on people like this, more still during closing hours", he yelled out.

"Are you shouting at me Axel?", she required having a furious face but he was not in the mood for her troubles and told her to either choose to state the reason why she was here or to leave his office because he was already on his way out, Miranda still picked an offense over that.

" I should not have come here if it was for you to humiliate me in this manner", she spoke out but Axel who was feeling tired used his card to close his office while walking out of her.

"Come back here Axel does not walk out on me", she yelled out but his life was not for one woman to take advantage of especially not her type.

He made his way out of the building and his driving caught sight of me as the car was already set in front of the building, he gave attention to the security officers wishing him a splendid night.

" Mommy I am home now", Morgan muttered but she could not catch a glimpse of her mom anywhere in the house. Walking all over and entering her room, there was no sign of her. Covered with panic, Morgan took out her phone from her pocket to place a call to her but her cell phone was ringing in the house.

" Her phone is here, so where could she be by this time?", as she was getting worried. She went outside, walking I'm the yard as she called out her mothers name, and taking her turn to the little poultry that was by the side of the lot, her eyes opened widened while her mouth screamed out her mother's name.

Mrs. Blaze was lying down almost lifeless as she had another crisis but there was no one around to help her.
