Chapter 9: Beer?
Eric's POV
I raised a eyebrow at him but he huffed and crawled off. I sat up and smirked wiggling my eyebrows.
"It takes more than that to seduce me." I said making his face turn red and he coughed.
"I was not trying to seduce you." he mumbled looking away from me.
"Whatever you were doing, you failed." I said as I took a bite from my burrito and noticed he was glaring at me.
"What?" I said and he turned up his nose.
"Food, in your mouth." he said and I finished chewing then swallowed cracking him a grin.
"Oops." I said and he rolled his eyes before sighing.
After I finished eating I had to go. I said a farewell to Oliver then went my way out the university. I had to talk to Sammie if he wasn't busy of course. But the sooner we talked about this would probably be the best. I don't really want him with that crazy lady but it's his choice. I called him when I got in the car but he didn't answer. I decided to leave him a voice message then started my car and drove my way over to my other job.
****
Oliver's POV
I fought with myself on a decision. Opening and closing my flip phone constantly. I groaned closing my eyes.
"Hey Oliver." Ryder's voice rung in my ears and I opened my eyes sitting up.
"Hey." I said stuffing the flip phone in my back pocket. Ryder always loves to tease me about it but I hate using mom's money...mostly the man she married money.
"Still studying?" he asked turning his nose and I rolled my eyes turning to face him.
"Why yes my lovely companion." I said smirking and he fake gagged making me laugh.
"You and all the big words and weird talk." he said and I raised a eyebrow.
"That's ignorance your speaking, companion isn't even a big word." I said.
"If it's hard to spell it is."he pointed out and I rolled eyes smiling before turning away from him going back to studying but before I knew my book was closed.
"Let's go out." he said and I blinked looking up at him.
"Um....we're cousins and I don't like you that way." I said and he glared.
"I mean going somewhere, and your suppose to be smart." he said and I huffed.
"Go where?" I asked trying to open my book again but he laid his hand on it making it difficult for little ol me to open it again.
"Come on." he said grabbing my arm and pulled me up from the chair making me blink.
"Where are we going?" I asked but he only threw my boots at me and I ducked then moved to my right after yelping then glared at him.
"Put them on, what your wearing I guess is...suitable." he said and I furrowed my eyebrows but put my boots on anyway.
When I was done Ryder dragged me out our room then ran down the stairs. It was kinda hard to keep up. I tried running down the stairs too but I kept almost tripping so I decided instead of cracking my neck I'll just walk.
"You move like a turtle." he said when I hopped down the last stair and I stuck my tongue out making him roll his eyes, then grabbed my arm again and dragged me out of our university into the cold.
I rubbed my arms shivering and finally looked ahead of us. I noticed a van was there and Ryder was walking towards it. I glanced at the him and the van then to my left and right. A van.... um no thanks.
"Oliver come on!" he yelled as the window was rolled down and a guy nodded at me.
"Where are we going?!" I asked and he glared.
"To a..." he glanced over to his friend. "Sleepover?" he said and I raised a eyebrow.
"A sleepover? And I'm suppose to believe you?" I said crossing my arms as Ryder blinked at me.
"Uhh yes." he said and I scoffed.
"I'm going back to our room have fu-" I started to say but next thing I knew I was thrown over his shoulder and he almost dropped me. "Put me down Ryder!" I yelled.
"You need a break and to let loose." he said throwing me in the back of the van.
I groaned rubbing my head sitting up as he shut the door then went on his side and got in. Then the guy sitting next to him began to drive. I sighed looking around in the dark surroundings around me. I didn't even have a seat to sit in. As the guy made a turn to prove my point I slid and squeaked then grunted when I was thrown against the door.
"Careful back there." Ryder said and I huffed while rubbing my back.
I don't know where this guy is taking me. Ryder won't even tell me where we're going and I feel like I'm being kidnapped by being thrown in a stupid van.
"Ryder can you just tell me where we're going, it would make me feel concerned." I said rolling my eyes but he only turned to look at me then pat my head.
"Your slow little cousin." he said and I growled slamming down on my butt groaning.
"Oww." I rubbed it pouting.
Eventually I fell asleep I guess because I was shaken and opened my eyes yawning to see Ryder. He rolled his eyes shaking his head.
"Come on." he said then grabbed my arm pulling me up and I hopped out the van to find a huge house in front of us with lights on in every room well almost every room.
I raised an eyebrow and glanced to my left to look at Ryder who was long gone and already up the steps ringing on the door bell. I ran and stumbled my way up the stairs. A guy with his hair in a ponytail opened the door then grinned at him nodding then glanced at me.
"Who's the new guy?" the guy asked.
"Don't worry he won't bother anybody." Ryder said and I huffed kneeing him but weakly so he only rolled his eyes.
"Alright, come in." the guy said then passed up cups with a weird liquid.
I turned up my nose and decided to leave it in the cup as Ryder drunk the whole thing throwing his head back. I blinked looking down at the liquid in the cup. It smelled funny...I drank some then immediately spat it out. Taste nasty too. My tongue was burning as Ryder glared at me snatching the cup.
"Don't spray their rugs and walls with your damn clumsiness." he hissed and I frowned.
"I didn't try to." I said then crossed my arms glaring. "I didn't even want to be here." I said and he only rolled his eyes drinking what was in my cup then headed to the kitchen.
I followed close behind hoping I wouldn't lose him in all these bodies. Loud music, people laughing, people dancing against each other...well grinding, making out, and who knows what else. I can't believe he thought it was a good idea to force me to a party. Being the anti-social person I am, I hate it here already.
"Hey little dude." a voice said and I turned around to see the guy with ponytail who opened the door for us grinning down at me.
"Wanna dance?" he asked and I blinked then turned away from him seeing Ryder was long gone, damn it where he go now? I turned back towards the guy biting my lip.
"U-Uh sure." I said and that was a disaster, I kept stepping on his feet which I didn't mean to but I guess he got bored and left me with the rest of the dancing bodies. And I looked around them hoping I'd fine Ryder but then the guy came back making me jump a bit.
"Here thought you needed something to calm down." he said passing me a cup and I took it drinking it then wanted to spit it out.I looked like a chipmunk storing nuts in its mouth....and no not those kinds of nuts....dirty minded people.
I finally swallowed and my throat burned. Whatever he gave me tasted horrible. He smiled down at me.
"If you keep drinking it won't taste so bad and you'll get use to it." he laughed and I only nodded slowly.
"Game time!" a girl on a table yelled making some of the people stop what they were doing and look at her. "If anyone wants to play truth or dare come follow me!" she yelled and ran up the stairs with some following her.
"Wanna play?" he asked looking at me and I shrugged.
I played anyway and learned the guy's name was Ray. I also found Ryder in the little truth or dare circle. I glared at him and he only looked dazed and confused.
"Now here's how the game goes, we spin the bottle and the person who it lands on will be the person who chooses someone else to ask truth or dare." the girl with blonde curly hair said.
"Awww man, no spin the bottle?" Ryder asked and the girl giggled shaking her head as I grumbled leaning my back against the dresser.
"But if the person who gets asked truth or dare doesn't want to do either or doesn't want to say the truth or do the dare you can't just skip." she said smirking then passed us all little glass cups. "You gotta take a shot each time." she said and I blinked as she pulled out a bottle.
Drinking? We're all not even old enough to drink. I was about to stand up and go but a girl came in closing the door then leaned her back against it. I groaned sighing, guess I'm stuck here. For the past half hour the bottle has been spun and it hasn't landed on me and no one has picked me which I was thankful for. The bottle landed on Ray and he glanced at me. Oh great just when I was thankful, I jinxed myself.
"Truth or dare?" he asked.
"Uhh truth." I said as squirmed under everyone's gazes.
"Is it true you're still a virgin?" he asked smirking and I blushed.
"Yeah..." I said looking down in my lap trying to avoid all the stares.
The bottle was spun then landed on Ryder who winked at me making me glare. I hate these two. Why can't I be left be?
"Truth or dare?" he asked and ooh's went around.
"A double truth or dare, can't choose truth again that's no fun." the girl said and I huffed.
"That wasn't a rule before." I said and she shrugged smiling.
"Now it is." she said and I glared looking at Ryder.
"Dare." I said and he smirked raising a eyebrow.
"I dare you to drink this whole bottle." he said passing it to me and I gulped as he smirked.
Either way I'll have to drink won't I? But if I take one shot it shouldn't be too bad....but if I drank it the game would be over. I decided to just take a shot. I had a burning and itching feeling in my throat. Didn't burn too much but it still was there. But after that...everyone kept picking me. I had to switch back and forth truth then dare.
For truth I didn't have to take a shot but for most of the dares I did. But eventually things sounded louder and my vision was not as clear as it was before and I felt like a cloud. I was wobbly as I went down the hall. Their still playing the game but I asked to be excused to go to the bathroom. I'm surprised they understood me since my words were all slurred.
I looked around for the bathroom. I forgot to ask where it was. I held the wall for support and my throat was burning. I felt like I was gonna throw up. As I was about to pass a room a arm reached out making me yelp as it grabbed my wrist then tugged me in. I tried pulling the hand off but it was no use when the person's arms were wrapped around me. Their breath smelt funny and I pushed their chest trying to get the person away from me but I was weak.
"Sto-Stooop..." I said and the guy chuckled pushing me against a wall. I didn't like where this was going. I quickly kneed him as hard as I could then fumbled a bit with the door knob before opening the door trying to run out as fast as possible. I tripped a bit down the steps but finally found the bathroom. But I did hear groaning and footsteps coming down the stairs. I locked the door and sat on the toilet getting my phone out. My vision wasn't all that clear but I only had four phone numbers put in. Bodyguard is the first one...well Annoying Bodyguard.
"Hello?" a husky voice asked and I opened my mouth as I heard a bang against the other side of the door making me whimper. "Oliver? What's wrong?" he sounded alarmed.
"Er-Eric help...help." I said as the guy pounded on the door.
"Where are you?" he asked and I heard some noises in the background like he was getting up...I guess I woke him up.
"I do-don't know....please help." I curled up whimpering as the guy pounded the door hard.
"Oliver..." he sighed. "I don't know where you are?" he asked and I gulped standing up then moved the curtains of the shower. There high on the wall is what I was looking for, a window. I opened it and squinted my eyes to see the sign of the street name.
"Ki-Kingston? Kingston Avenue?" I said.
"Okay I'm on my way, what's the address?" he asked and I whimpered as I heard the door being kicked open.
"I-I'm at a party...lots of lights...Eric please hel-" the guy took away my phone grinning then hung up.
