Chapter 5

Based on her stories, she does not want to write a series yet because she wasn't confident that she could pull it off. So what changed her mind?

“I know, it's amazing. But I thought it was time for me to do it. The first thing I will do is the story of Joanne and Mac. Next is your story. So you should just have a love life, Lyn! You’re not getting any younger! ”

"Let's just be the same age."

It bothered him. "You are a month older than me."

“I still don't think of that love-love, Abby. I give priority to my work. ”

She scoffed. "When Cupid shoots you, you can forget your priority."

"I will hit Cupid on the wall when he shoots me, so that he will know that it is not fun to shoot in the heart."

It made him regret it. "Naks, the deep ha!"

“Kidding aside, I don't want to be in love anymore. It will cause nothing but pain. ”

It's over. "Not really, ha."

“You are a writer, eh. So that is your view. We are different, why did you visit? ”

From the body bag he was carrying, he pulled out a small bottle. “Harvey said you are going to an island in Palawan tomorrow. Take me home with sand. ” He said and handed her the bottle.

He couldn't help but be weird with his friend. Even when out-of-this-world really comes to mind.

"It simply came to our notice then. I'll go first. I will still go through the office. ” It was at the door when he suddenly looked at her again. “You’ll find your happiness soon, Fredelyn. I can feel it. Bye-bye! ”

The friend was gone but he kept staring at the closed door. She had found the happiness she’s talking about. But that happiness also left him immediately. That day he believed that nothing was permanent in the world. That happiness is only temporary.

Lyn LOOKED at her wristwatch. Harvey said they will be going to Haengbok Isle together with the singer from Korea. The talk was eleven o-clock they would meet here at the Pier itself but it was over fifteen minutes and he could not see its shadow.

From here at the Pier they will board a boat that will take them to Haengbok Isle. Maybe it will take them two or three weeks at Haengbok Isle. The island is private so there is a set date when they will be picked up. He said there is a mini-town proper on the island itself so he will not be bored there. After all, as long as he has his guitar with him, he will not be bored. Playing the guitar is his life.

She combed her long hair with a ribbon. The wind is so strong that it blows his hair and it almost covers his face. He had just finished combing his hair when someone tapped him on the shoulder.

She smiled and turned around but immediately lost her smile when she looked at the man in front of her. He could also clearly see the shock on its face when he was observed.

If someone he wants to see and does not want to see, this is it. As he looked at the man's face in front of him, he couldn't help but think of everything he had gone through when he was in college.

She could not deny that she missed this guy. That no matter how much she’s been hurt before, she still missed this guy. He was her best friend and her true loved then. Yes, loved. Because she had finally moved on.

He saw the passing of recognition in its eyes which amazed him greatly. He knew a lot had changed in him since the last time they met. For Pete’s sake! It’s been seven years already! How does he still face it? She is no longer the former Fredelyn she knew, you bastard. He has changed and also because of this man why he has changed.

“Lyn…”

Nathan. His heart had already mentioned its name.

When he suddenly hugged her, he felt like seven years had not passed. And the pain that she’s been hiding inside her heart was slowly melting because of his hug.

It was only a hug that would erase the contribution and resentment in his heart.
