Chapter 10: Birthday Gifts

"Jihyo!" I shouted.

"Oh, Nayeon." She waved at me while I ran to her.

"Sorry, I was late." I apologised.

"I'll let you off cause it's your birthday."

The other girls were walking up to us.

"Happy Birthday, Nayeon-unnie!" The smol bean hugged me.

"Congratulations." Tzuyu applauded.

Dahyun was with Momo.

"I guess you're hanging out with us now." I said to Momo.

"Yeah, if you're wondering me and Jeongyeon aren't a thing anymore." She smiled.

"Where are we going?" I asked still having Chaeyoung in my arms.

"We're going to eat out, let's go!" Jihyo lead us.

It's the same restaurant where 'The Date' was.

We sat at a big round table.

"This place gives me the creeps." Dahyun spoke.

"Why?" Sana asked.

"I got to spend it with N-Nayeon." She replied doing a sick gesture.

"Yah!" I stared at her angrily, she did the same.

"I've ordered the food, let's play a game." Jihyo said.

We played the ABCD game where the caller calls out a letter and if the others match the hand gestures then they'll get slapped.

Even though I lost most of that, they went easy on me with soft slaps.

Our food arrived and we stopped playing, I could see the other girls hands turning red, ouch!

I looked around the table, Chaeyoung and Mina are cuddling, so was Sana and Tzuyu.

"Yah you four love birds, you guys got close."

"Well, we go out." Chaeyoung answered.

"So do we." Tzuyu replied after.

I looked at them in shock, but I wasn't surprised and I continued to eat my food.

"Ugh... I'm full." Sana moaned.

"Me too." Mina spoke.

As soon as they said that a cake was coming our way. The employees were singing happy birthday.

They placed the cake down and I blew out the candles.

"Happy 22nd Birthday!" Momo shouted.

"Come on, let her open her gifts." Chaeyoung jumped from her seat.

Dahyun gave me a bag of gifs all from each girl.

I opened the first one which was Tzuyu's, inside was a make up set.

Chaeyoung gave me a heart shaped necklace.

Dahyun gave me a perfume.

Mina gave me a jewelry box personalized with my name on it.

Jihyo gave me a T-shirt with my face on it, she knows me too well.

Sana gave me a designer bag.

Finally Momo gave me bunny phone case.

"Thank you all so much." I thanked them.

"Nayeon, you have one more present. I don't know who it's from it was placed on my desk when I arrived, there was a note that says 'Give to Nayeon.'" Jihyo announced while giving me the gift which was a big box.

I opened it and inside was a Squirtle plushy, I gasped and smiled so much.

There was a note attached to it that reads:

Happy Birthday Squirtle, I hope you liked my gift since you look like a Squirtle I gave you a Squirtle plushy. Hope you enjoy your birthday.

Jeongyeon, seeing her name made me smile so much that it hurt.

"Nayeon who's it from?" Momo asked.

"From someone special."
