Chapter Two

"Riley!" someone yelled in my ear, waking me up. I immediately jumped up and grabbed whoever it was, pushing them on the ground while holding their arms.

"Riley," the voice said, muffled by the sound of the plane.

"Joey?" I questioned, realizing it was Joey.

"Get your fat arse off me!" Joey exclaimed.

"Sorry, J," I said sheepishly, before getting off him. Everyone laughed.

"We have arrived! Now go fix yourself up so we can leave this stupid plane. I mean, we're in L.A., baby!" Rachel yelled.

I rolled my eyes but headed to the bathroom. I fixed the belt on my floral dress and smoothed my straight brown hair so it wasn't sticking up.

"Okay, I'm ready," I said, walking out and leaving the private jet with the others. People were rushing all around the airport.

"Ladies and Joey, welcome to L.A," Matt said. We all smiled, and Emily and Rachel squealed.

"Let’s go shopping!" Emily exclaimed.

"No, let’s go looking for celebrities!" Joey suggested.

"Let's go see our new high school!" Emily exclaimed.

"How about we go and see where we are going to live?" I said, grabbing my bags. You’d think they’d never left London before.

"Oh, yeah. Good idea, Scott," Joey said, ruffling my hair.

"Joey, don't touch my hair or else I will flip you on that ground so fast.," I warned..

"Oh, you’re such a big baby," I said, rolling my eye.

We all walked outside, and everyone groaned.

"Jeez. It's hot," Emily complained.

"It's like walking into an oven in the desert out here," Rachel said and we all nodded in agreement. ”Definitely not London anymore.

"Wait, are we gonna have to take a taxi the whole time?" I asked Matt.

He shook his head and smirked. "You four ready to see your new cars?"

"Hell, yeah!" Emily said without hesitation.

He held up four sets of keys, and we all snatched them. I clicked the button and the car made a clicking noise on the side of the parking lot. I looked over and see it was a Black 2017 dodge dart. I gasped. I'd always wanted one of these.

"Oh, my fucking gosh! Matt, I seriously love you!" I squealed.

"Yeah, Matt, if I wasn't straight, I'd love you, too!" Joey said as he looked at his Silver 2017 Ford GT Mustang.

"Matt, can I keep this baby forever?" Emily questioned, still looking at her blue 2016 Nissan GT R. Rachel was doing the same, except her car was a Lexus LC500h.

"These are yours while we are here in L.A. If you guys complete the mission, they're all yours to keep. I will meet you all at the house. The GPS in your car will take you there," Matt said, and then he got in his dark blue convertible and left.

"I wonder why he got us such expensive cars," Joey said.

"That's probably why," Rachel said, pointing to the street. All the cars were either brand new or in good condition.

"Yup. Race you all to the house!" Joey yelled, hopping in his car and speeding off. We all got in our cars and quickly followed behind him. When we arrived, it was a white two-story house. I went inside to see twisty stairs that led to the bedrooms. Candles lit every room.

"This place is pretty big," Emily said, and I nodded in agreement.

"Matt, this house is huge!" Rachel said.

"Trust me, this is nothing compared to the other houses in L.A.," he said. “This house belonged to an old agent, Nathan Blaze. He was definitely a legendary guy.”

“If he owned this house, I bet.” Joey said smiling.

Joey was already in the room he claimed, causing me to laugh.

"The first thing you would do is pick a room," I said, shaking my head with a smile.

"Get the room across from me. It's huge!" Joey told me, standing at his door.

I nodded and went in. He was right. It was huge. The theme in the room was silver and red.

"Wow, you weren't kidding! I seriously wish we could live here!" I exclaimed, jumping on the bed and landing on my stomach.

"When do we start school?" I asked as Matt came in my room.

"Tomorrow at seven," Matt said, causing me to groan.

"Let's go shopping!" Emily yelled from her room.

"Yeah, you all need to go get some new clothes to fit who you are going to become. You should already have credit cards so get going," Matt said.

We nodded and all grabbed our keys and cards and went to the mall.

A few hours later, we were home with like thirty bags of clothes each for our new wardrobe.

I was beyond tired, since I had a little bit of jet leg and decided to go to bed a little early, not even bothering to eat dinner. After taking a quick hot shower, I laid down in my bed and got lost in my thoughts.
