Chapter 4

‘Uggghhh…. Having two dads would make the title hard to call out!!!!’ Ruwa had to decide the titles that she would call out to her dads. ‘Daxt will be ‘Dad’ and Takuya will be ‘Papa’. It is clarified now!’ She had been trying to figure it out, but she finally came to a conclusion with them both. Continuing to eat from the bottle of milk that was given to her, she laid in the crib while eating. ‘So far it has been five days and I’ve only seen Reis take care of me. The world that I reincarnated into is still modern, so I won’t struggle with adapting. By the way, where did both of my dads go? Are they already bored with me?’ Thinking for a second, she then started to eat again from the bottle. ‘Meh, whatever.’

“Ruwa!!! Papa is finally here!!!!” Takuya slammed the door of her nursery and rushed in to look at her.

‘Poor door.’ She felt as though the door should already be broken. Then again, she felt glad that ‘Papa’ was going to be a title for Takuya when she could speak. Being held in his arms, she could see that he must have been cooped up somewhere for the last few days. Her bottle had dropped onto the ground, seeing that her feeding time was over.

“Papa was unable to come and see you!!! He missed you a lot!!!!” Takuya was mad at Daxt who had locked him up in their bedroom for the last couple of days. “Why don’t we go ahead and take a look outside!?!?!” Takuya went over to the balcony, opening the doors with the sun that was up.

Looking around, she felt her mouth slightly open to see that the entire place was filled with houses and people all walking around with some riding their bikes to make way for their day. Seeing a few gardeners working on the plants and bushes that were growing around. Their home was a two-story house and it was not fancy like the rich, but it was comfy.

“Ruwa, no matter what. This is your home from now on. Do not ever grow to hate us, okay?” Takuya said, smiling down to her again. Staring up to him, she could see his hair that was being pushed by the wind. Feeling tears well up again, she started to cry which made Takuya panic. “Oh no! Are you still hungry or are you cold!?!?!” Thinking that she was just hungry or cold, he quickly went back into the room and shut the balcony doors.

“Takuya you still need to attend the little gathering.” Daxt entered the room, seeing Takuya who was holding Ruwa. Feeling his heart skip a beat, he felt as though his husband was beautiful at that moment. Wishing that he could just capture that moment forever to look back at over and over.

“Awww, do I really have to attend that gathering? You know that no one there likes me.” Takuya told him.

“Well, you do not need to go, but you know that both of my mothers will get naggy about this.” He had to state the facts that both of his mothers would surely be angry at his husband for trying to skip out on the gathering.

“Hmph, they should know that it was not my fault for finding my fated pair.” Takuya pouted slightly.

‘Fated pair???’ Giving her papa a questioning look, she wanted to know more. Lightly tapping her hand onto his chest, she could only mumble.

“Does my little daughter wish to know about a ‘fated pair’?” Daxt went closer to her, lightly patting her head.

‘Yes!!!’ Shouting within again.

“A fated pair is when you meet someone who is meant to be with you forever. They are your special someone who will help you.”

“Idiot, she is still a baby. She would not understand this.” Takuya told Daxt.

“She will understand one day. Just like we both did. Besides, how do you think Reis came to be in this world?” Daxt held a bit of a smirk to make Takuya recall.

“Idiot!!!” Takuya could recall that when they first met, he had unexpectedly gone into an unexpected heat. ‘It only took once to get pregnant.’ Takuya was angry at that time, but he was given no choice. He had to marry Daxt, but he did not regret it soon after they got to know each other.

‘What age did you both have Reis?’ Ruwa looked at the two who still looked young and in their youthful years. ‘You both do not look that old.’

“Alright, I will go to that gathering. Who will watch over her?” Takuya knew that they only just put her into their family system. “Reis only just started going into his first year of high school, so we can’t ask him now.” Takuya wished that their son did not have to start school so soon.

“I’ll stay home today and take care of her then.” Daxt was left with no choice, but he knew how to take care of a baby since he did raise his and Takuya’s son as well.

“Are you sure? Your business won’t be affected by it, right?” Takuya said in a concerned tone.

“Don’t worry and go to the gathering or else you will hear a lot later.” Daxt did not want Takuya to get nagged by his mothers who would force his husband to go and attend to set a good image for the family. Takuya sadly cried and left their house, leaving Ruwa with Daxt.

“Alright, let’s get this day over with until everyone comes back home.” Daxt held Ruwa in his arms, looking at his daughter who did not seem to cry with him. “You are a strange kid. You do not cry like other kids do when they see me.” He said.

‘Did Reis cry with you?’ She wanted to ask him. Thinking about how Reis always looked emotionless. ‘I doubt it.’ She thought again. The day was pretty usual, she ate, slept, diaper changed, bathed, and so on. To her surprise, she did not think that Daxt would be able to take care of a baby. When it came to being changed and given a new diaper, it was the hardest part for her. ‘I wish that I was reincarnated as a child at least, so that I would not have to depend on them for diaper change.

*Riiiinnggg*

Hearing Daxt’s phone ringing, she looked over from the crib that she was laying down in. Seeing Daxt pick up the phone call, but before he answered, he let out a sigh. “Hello.”
