His Star!

Nandini's POV:

I was having the best time of my life. Manik took me to Bora bora.. I couldn't believe it.. He didn't tell where he was taking me but after looking at the surrounding I guessed it and I was right..

I thought we were staying in a resort but Manik Malhotra had different plan. He had a resort like house here over the sea water.. When I first entered ,I thought it was an five star hotel. Of course Manik Malhotra never do anything less than five star.

Our friend teased us saying we are going for our pre-honeymoon. It's our 4th day here.. Tomorrow we will be gone from here.. In these days Manik took care of me so much.

He took me to the local market where I bought many things, we walked through the water hand in hand, We made sandcastle,He woke me up with a kiss and made me breakfast everyday. All the time I was jumping with happiness all the time.

He was my personal photographer. He captured my every movement, recorded our moments.. He was happy and tried to keep me happy but I was happy seeing him happy.

Though he took my engagement ring away saying it's not needed here. He will give me back when we will go back.

"Nandu, are u done?" I heard Manik calling me..

"yeah, yeah wait a minute." I wore a white boho floral maxi dress. I left my hair open and I only applied pink lip gloss.

I came out of the room and he smiled at me.

"U look beautiful but I have something for you." He said and I smiled softly.

"What?"

"Here wear it."

He made me wear a purple tiara and kissed my forehead lovingly.

"There now u look perfect. Come on, let's go." He said and we went out of the house.

"Manik, we are going back tomorrow." I said with a sigh.

"I know Darling."

"I need to go to the market again. I didn't buy enough gifts for everyone."

"Nandu.. U bought more than enough. If u buy anymore then they are going to scold u, mark my words." He said and I pouted..

"What if they don't like these?" I said with a frown.

"Trust me, they will love it."

"I want to swim." I said and he shook his head.

"Not here. We will swim once we go back to the house." Aggh! Overprotective.

"Manik! I want to swim in the sea water." I said annoyingly

"Well our swimming area also a part if the sea but more safe. And BTW u are not wearing swimming costume." He said and I huffed.

"Come on don't be angry. I don't want u to be angry when I will ask u." He said and I looked at him.

"Ask me what?"

"You will see. Now cheer up." He said and I rolled my eyes.

"U didn't tell about the preparations of our exhibition." He asked.

"I talked with Samuel and he is handling everything well. 60% work is already done. I wanted to ask u something." I said and looked at him.

"Go ahead."

"What will happen now? Maddy, u taking over my hotels, me being ur trophy wife. U know I tried not to think about these in this trip but I am worried." I finally said the things that was eating my brain.

"Nandu.. I am going to take over ur father's hotels only to hand them to u. U are not going to be a trophy wife. I said those to rile u up. And last but not the least don't worry about him, he can't do anything anymore." He said cupping my face and I had tears in my eyes.

"Kaise na karu. U know na kya kiya hain usne tumlogo k sath." Now I started crying.

"Sshh.. I know but u don't cry. I will teach him a lesson in Malhotra style. Now close ur eyes.. It's surprise time!" He said and cover my eyes with his palm.

"What surprise?"

"Just close ur eyes and don't open it until i say so." He said and I realized he was off to somewhere..

"Manik.." I called for him after sometime..

"It's do... No! Sh!t!" He shouted..

"Manik!" I panicked..

"Don't open ur eyes.. Everything is fine.." He said..

"Now.. U can open ur eyes now." Manik whispered in my ear from my back.

I slowly opened my eyes and gasp..

He wrote 'Marry me' on the wet sand..so freaking romantic!

I turned towards him with my board smile only to find him on his knees with my engagement ring.

"Nandini. I know we faced lots of things. We were separated for so many years.. But I want to tell u that when I told u , I like u only to realise it's love.. I may be not perfect but I promise to love u and protect u from everything. I know we are already engaged but I want to do every thing in a right way..

So Marry Me Nandini Murthy.." He said and I smile with tears in my eyes..

"First tell me the magic words." I said and he frowned..

"What magic words?"

"Think Manik Malhotra. U never said those words to me." I said and he smiled.

"I love u, My Nandu." He said and I felt like I was going to faint because of the happiness.

"Yes! I will marry u." I said and he slide the ring on my finger. He got up and hugged me.

"I love you too." I said and he tighten our hug.

"Today is the 2nd best day of my life." He said..

"And what's the 1st one?" I asked looking at him.

"The 1st best day will be our wedding day." He said and kissed my forehead.

I broke the hug and look back at the writing on the sand.

"It's gone. The wave erased it." I said twisting my lips.

"It happened before too.. That's why I was cursing.." He said with an annoying face..

"It's ok.. Ur work is done." I said and he smiled..

"Now let's go.. I am making dinner."

"Not before the sunset." I said because I didn't miss sunset since I came here...

We went back to our house and saw it was decorated with flowers and candles..

"Candle light dinner?" I asked and he grinned.

"I am not going to ask when u did this." I said shaking my head..

"Because u know I have my ways." He said proudly..

He started to make dinner. He didn't want to order so I helped him cooking. After sometime our pasta and steak were ready..

We start eating after we both freshen up..

"As planned we are going to announce our engagement officially in ur exhibition." I said munching my food.

"Yes. And I have a surprise for you there." He smirked and I looked at him suspiciously.

"Again surprise! What is it now?" I asked narrowing my eyes..

"It's a surprise Darling but let me tell u, u are going to be shocked."
