THE GATE OF ST. VICTORIA'S ACADEMY.
Entering the gate of St. Victoria’s Academy feels like stepping into another world.
A paradise of hell.
St. Victoria’s Academy is the epitome of luxury, designed for the elite and influential alphas.
The campus is breathtaking, with grand buildings and lush gardens.
Students, mostly from powerful families, have access to every luxurious technology in every classroom.
Extracurricular activities are top-notch, and social events are extravagant, including trips to private islands and lavish parties for everyone.
However, the pressure to excel is hectic, with everyone striving to uphold their family’s prestigious legacy and their rank in the world of werewolves.
It is one of the top elite schools in America and also the toughest school to get admission.
Connections and reputations are everything in St. Victoria’s Academy, and the students become future leaders of their pack and take over their family’s legacy by stepping to the top.
The high school students of St. Victoria’s Academy would do anything to be in control of others, till they get to the top.
And I am one of them.
Violet Stormclaw from the Silvermist Pack, a female Alpha and a high school student of St. Victoria’s Academy.
“Are you sleeping, Violet?” Willow lightly pinched my nose using the tip of her fingers. “Get up, silly girl.”
I raised my head from my desk and stared at my best friend, Willow, with a confused and a hassle expression.
She tied her dirty blonde hair up in a ponytail.
The reflection of the sun lit up her beautiful green eyes when she laughed.
She was an attractive young lady having a pointed nose, pink plump lips, perfect set of white teeth and full brow, which she always sharpened into her girly style.
She perpetually puts on makeup and follows the high school girl’s trends.
She loves following the trends set up by stupid people on the media and keeps with anything that is on fire.
She would rather choose hell over ice.
She wore a white uniform shirt, a patterned shirt, black tie and a multicolored skirt reaching nearly her knees made her appealing.
And not to forget, she also has the perfect slim legs. Alphas drool over whenever she walks past them.
Short patterned black heels, and a pair of white socks go with the uniform.
Though it is part of the school code, she fits into anything she wears.
I rubbed my eyes with a long yawn. “What is it now?” I grumbled with a deep frown. “Stop disturbing me, Willow. Don’t you ever grow tired of walking around the school for hours? You’ve been stressing me out all day.” I complained out loud.
Willow is an Omega, and I am an Alpha.
She is my childhood best friend, and we came from the same pack.
I was 7 years old when we met each other in her garden when I played with my younger brother, Ash.
It was a fantastic encounter and soon we became best friends because of how jovial, sweet and friendly she was as a kid.
She was the cutest and I couldn’t resist her attempt at being my best friend.
After all, she was the only loyal friend I had than the fake ones.
Although we are from the same class and she sits in front of me during class, she is still a fuss.
She behaves as if we are not from the same class and if she doesn’t see me for a day, she will die.
She is always trying to be the world’s friend, and it is exhausting and a pain to my sanity.
Instead of always dragging me around, greeting and having a conversation with everyone she meets, she should do it alone.
Can’t a female alpha have some peace?
“Come on, this is the first time…”
“I don’t care. Leave me alone. As soon as you walk around the school, you don’t stop. I’m too tired to follow you around.” I shunned her off and was about to rest my head back on the desk when she held my shoulder. “Don’t skip the topic, bestie.”
“What topic?” I asked, wondering what she was talking about.
“Forget about that.” She waved her hand to the left in a flattering manner with a wide grin. “So, tell me about him.” She exclaimed. “How are you guys going? Do you like him?”
I frowned. “What are you talking about?”
She sometimes surprises me with her questions.
Did she hear something about me again? This school always talks about me and most of the time is freaking annoying.
Just because I’m the daughter of an Alpha doesn’t give them the privilege of talking crap about me.
Of course, I see and hear everything they gossip about as crap. Whether it is good or bad, I don’t care, because whenever their lips are moving, it is occasionally about me.
Since my father is the leader of the Silvermist Pack and owns 40% shares of the school.
I get judged and monitored for anything I do and it gets posted on social media.
I hate this school. I hate St. Victoria’s Academy and I don’t care if this is one of the top luxurious schools in the world for elites.
Alphas created this school and it doesn’t feel like a place for teaching and learning books about histories and society.
Instead, it feels like a cage. I truly hate it here and I can’t wait to graduate from this school and get admitted to college.
Their expectations of the students being flawless are under so much pressure.
They are just like my delusional parents.
“You went out with James. Don’t lie to me.” She rested both hands on her waist. “Rumors had it, you went home with him. They saw you. The school is buzzing about it. The school is in chaos, Violet.” She screamed excitedly and grabbed my arm. “Did you kiss him?”
I squeezed my face in disgust. “Eww! James? Are you kidding me?”
I hate to break it to her but we kissed. And it was not yesterday like everyone is claiming it was.
“Don’t make that face. Did you kiss him? I know you like him. Tell me all about it. Did you guys have sex?”
“It is normal to be casual with my classmates, doesn’t mean I like him.” I pulled my arm from her hand.
Nothing happened between us.
I just escorted the alpha home because he said he wanted to talk about his studies with me and that was it.
Along the way, he said nothing much.
He just talked about his choice of schools. How he plans to apply for his school of preference and pay his tuition fees by his parents.
Graduates from college and fulfills his dreams.
I just nodded my head during the rest of the conversation without paying that much attention to him.
He’s someone I admire. He is handsome and…perfect for his status.
He gets good grades. He is from a wealthy family, a great pack and he’s an Alpha.
His parents are best friends with my parents.
