Alexandra Annie Steele was ready for her college years, in a small apartment her dad had rented for her near her college. She was studying interior decorations and she was ready to take up the world of decorations in a storm. She had big and bold ideas and she believed in that and herself.

"But dad, I want a new car." She said as she looked at her dad.

"No, Allie girl. This has to do. You see, you can't get everything you want." Her dad said, his voice stern and unmoving.

"But you can afford it, dad... " She said. She almost wanted to stomp, but she didn't want to be immature.

"And it is mine." He winked at her. "You have to earn what you want. You see this office, I was planning to hand it over to some of our usual contractors, but then a young man came to me and he was still so young, only a couple years more on you. And you should have listened to him talk. It was impressive. He was so confident and he told me that he wanted to go up and so he would do it better than those who were already on the top and he did it with such drive that this came out better than all our other... "

"Beep, beep, beep. Dad, I have heard this story before, a million time and some more. Remember it?" She poked her tongue out and he shook his head.

"Brat. Go on. It is getting late for your classes." He gave her a gentle push and she chuckled at him before she walked. No car for now, thanks to the young man, whoever he was.

"Love you, dad."

"Love you more, Allie girl."

"But why did you, dad? Why did you leave me here all alone? I am so afraid of this world. They want everything you have worked for. So long. So hard. The vultures. Dad, come back, I am scared to be here, alone." She cried, heart breaking for the man who had been her constant support and her only family. He had been everything for her, for so long. He had been her home and hearth and Haven. Her mom and dad. Without him, she was lost, directionless.

But her dad was gone. Gone in an instant, before she could understand what was happening.

There was no forewarning. One day he was here and the next day, no more.

He wasn't coming back, no matter how hard she cried, or begged. She was truly alone here, in this colossal pit of emptiness and the wolves around her could smell the blood.

The walls of her house started to close in around her until she couldn't breathe properly. She was suffocating inside.

She walked to the small cozy outhouse, the one her dad had hired someone to build for her, and she curled at one corner and fell asleep, tears dried on her cheeks.

Tomorrow she would lose this home, too.

Tomorrow she would truly be homeless.

Life is like this. A giant wheel. It goes on its merry way, round and round. And we are supposed to go along. We have to. Nobody have any other option.

Everyone would have their turn at the top. And of course, the bottom. It is fair, too, in its own twisted sense of fairness.

Logan and Alexandra was in that giant wheel. As it went around...

Logan was finally here. The top. The one he had worked so hard for, for so long. He was ready to fly and touch new heights. He was ready to mark his name on the world that had once looked down on him.

And Alexandra, she was here at the very bottom. The ground was so close to her feet. Even though she wanted to fly away, far, far away, she couldn't. The shackles tethering her to the ground, it was so strong. So hard. She couldn't break free from the hard pinch of it. She was lost.

And there, their story began.

It is fate. It is destiny.

One day, they would meet. It was written.

They wouldn't learn about the thread that connect them together, until later. But they would meet and their meeting would change them both.

They would meet and it would be all wrong, but still so right.

It is all pre-planned. It is inevitable, their story.
