Chapter 2

All around me was white. Pure white, like being in a white box without any walls.

"Hello?" I called out, my voice echoing down the halls.

"Mila Rae, step forward." A loud masculine voice was heard.

Frowning, I did as it said.

"Smile sweet girl, you're much too beautiful to do such a frown." A sweet woman's voice suddenly murmured around me.

I watched in awe as the white began to vanish and in front of me was a beautiful palace area and in front of my stood two beautiful women and a handsome young man.

"Am I in heaven?" I ask and both the women chuckle beautifully as the man smiles charmingly.

"Some could call it that, but no. Welcome to my temple. Now, wouldn't you like to know why your here?" The women in the middle replies and I nod my head.

"Can we start with who you are?" I ask and she smiles.

"You may have heard of me. My name is Aphrodite. Goddess of love, beauty, desire and this is my son, Eros. God of sex, lust and passionate desire who can bring irresistible feelings and impulses using an arrow, sometimes people refer to him as Cupid. Lastly my dear friend, Peitho. Goddess of persuasion and seduction." she explains, and I nod my head.

"I have got to be dreaming." I mumble quickly and they all chuckle.

"Far from, darling. Just wait and see." The man, Eros replies.

They all step towards me and I suck in a deep breath as Aphrodite steps right in front of me, placing both her hands on my shoulders.

"I hereby gift you with my same love, beauty and desire." Aphrodite murmurs and my eyes widen in shock.

What kind of dream was this?

She suddenly presses her lips softly against mine before pulling away with a smile.

She moves away, Eros stepping up and taking her place and doing the same as her.

"I hereby gift you with my same sex, lust and passionate desire, including irresistible feelings and impulses by the use of your own eyes and mind." he says before pressing his lips against mine.

Peitho is next as both Aphrodite and Eros stand behind her.

"I hereby gift you with my same persuasion and seduction." she says pressing our lips together.

As she steps back, they all smile at me and before I can say another word, the world around me begins to swirl and my body heats up before all goes black.

I breathe in deeply as my eyes jolt open.

Taking in the light blue sky above me, I go to push myself up only to find my body too weak to do it.

Letting out a small groan, I try to do it again only to fail.

"You're awake!" I hear a new male voice say, relief flowing the soft tone of it.

Within moments, a guy with strawberry blonde tousled hair and deep captivity big brown eyes is hovering over me with a large smile.

"You gave me one hell of a scare! I thought I might have really lost you for a minute. Want me to help prop you up?" he says.

"Please." my voice croaks out making me frown at the sound.

"Where'd that pretty smile go? You can't possibly miss being at the bottom of the sea already." he jokes, and I give him a weak smile.

"I'll take what I can get." he says before gently sitting me up.

He stays beside me to help support my weight and I look around to see us on a small beach.

"I'm Lucien, your personal guardian angel or personal protector, whichever you prefer." he says with a proud grin.

"Mila." I croak out.

"I know, baby girl. I have your name imbedded in my flesh." he says with a soft chuckle as she shows me his wrist.

I reach out and gently run my fingers over it and a small gasp leaves my lips.

"This is really real. Holy fuck what the hell just happened to my life." I murmur as my heart rate begins to pick up.

"Listen, just take a deep breath and try to re..." Lucien begins to softly say but he shuts up as soon as a small scream leaves my lips.

"MY ARM!" I yell horrified.

A beautiful tattoo starting on top of my hand going all the way to the top of my shoulder had suddenly appeared.

"What's wrong with it?" Lucien asks looking over both of them confused.

"This... this tattoo... that wasn't there before." I state and his eyes widen as he immediately begins to exam it.

His eyes widen as he takes it all in.

"What is it?" I murmur.

"This symbol that starts on your hand... is the symbol of Aphrodite... as it travels up your arm, it looks to intertwine within the symbol of... Eros and they both continue up and at the top of your shoulder is the symbol of... Peitho. I don't understand..." he says moving my arm all around to inspect every inch of it.

"Oh my god! So, it was real?! This all real?!" I exclaim trying to wrap my head around it all.

"Yes. Greek Gods are very much real and so are angels. Us angels, are descendants from the Greek Gods themselves, here to aid them when needed. Now occasionally, when a person dies, instead of going to heaven or hell as you know it by, sometimes a Greek God will gift you and in return you will be reborn as an immortal angel along with the gift they gave you. It rarely happens but when it does, it is 1 gift from 1 God. So how you managed to have 3 Gods is beyond me and by the looks of this you were given more than one gift from each." he explains and by the time he is done, my head is so overwhelmed, I faint.
