Chapter 5
"I heard that someone confessed to Ten again and he rejected," Weiz added. Smiling, the man approached him and then strangled him playfully. "The soccer club is really different."
Ten just laughed at Weiz's teasing.
"The number of women approaching Ten increased when our former ban was lifted. But rarely does it pass. Weak, ”said Matt.
“Look at Jandrik. It will be two soon,” Harry laughed.
The so-called playboy Jandrick just smiled. To his friends, this is the real playboy. He changes girlfriend as fast as how he changes his underwear. How serious it is to play soccer, it is the opposite of a woman.
“What can you expect from our Mr. SBU? Ranked number one in Most Handsome Guy `yan,” he laughed.
“Well. Still no one beat Mr. Stripper, ”Jandrick said knowing he was referring to him.
What they are talking about is the poll that the newspaper club does at the beginning of the semester and before the end of the semester. There are different categories and the voters are SBU students. The ranking had become their locker room topics since then.
Their conversation was cut short when they were called for their practice game. Ten stretched then stood up. He thought, how long will he be able to do this?
"Are you still KANINA?" Ten opened his Third when he reached it in the living room of their house. He had just come home from SBU and he was surprised to see his older brother come home earlier. Usually because it is really late at night because of baseball practice.
“Yeah. I finished the practice early so we can be ready tomorrow, ”he said.
"Ah," was his only reaction and he was about to go up to his room when he looked at Third's arm. “Wristband? When did you learn to wear that? ”
Third patted his arm then smiled at him. “Chain gave it. Good luck gift daw. That girl, really, ”he said shaking his head.
“Ah. Good for you. ”
Ten went straight to his room. He collapsed on his bed. What he had in mind was Chain. Chain was this girl who could see through his façade. She was the only girl whom he could show his true self and he didn’t know why. Chain was this girl who could amuse him with her honest reactions. She was… fascinating.
Chain was wearing her heart on her sleeves and it would be her downfall. Chain was the perfect example of a person who would think of others first before themselves. Or maybe he was just too damn observant for his own good.
The one person he could not read was his brother. His brother was the golden boy of their family. He was perfect and damn annoying to the boot. He never hated anyone more than he hated his own brother. Is this the love-hate relationship you are talking about? He loved his brother because he was family but he hated him as well.
Ah, brother issues, really.
