Chapter 1: Kiss Me

When the class is boring, I often look over the window and just watch how the trees from afar dance from the rhythm of the winds. I always feel at ease every time I see nature, and its wonders.

But everything changed after I entered college. Instead of seeing dancing trees as I look over the window, I see some varsity students practicing basketball in court.

The covered court was under renovation that's why they've been practicing there for over 2 weeks already. It was annoying because every time I look at the window, they will laugh as if I am interested with them and begin the teasing.

I will roll my eyes often, how feeler, it was a plain habit for goodness sake.

When I heard the bell rang. I stood up and went to the next class. I was sitting in front because I don't want any distractions especially that I am not that good in this subject. This requires full focus in order for me to at least understand some part.

“What a boring day!” I heard Tin－my classmate mumbled while yawning in front of the professor.

I gave her a warning look, thank God the professor was writing something on the board.

Tin pulled her chair closer to mine and started her habit of talking in the middle of the class. In the end, we'll both have a failure score in every after discussion quizzes because we won't get anything because of her stories and all.

“I heard that Daryl was courting you?” she said giving her smirk and suspicion.

I gave her a bored look, “He's just a best friend, Tin.” I answered a matter of fact.

She hissed and played with the strands of my hair. “You can keep secrets from me. And duhh! Everyone already knows that Daryl's in love with you!”

She made that statement a bit loud that's why I covered her big mouth with my palms.

“Can you shut that mouth up?” I annoyingly said.

She giggled and look at the board. I almost yawn seeing the board full of formulae, so boring.

Tin was continuously teasing me until the end of the day, she was my classmate whole afternoon session that's why I have to endure all of her teasing.

When all the classes were finally over, I immediately go home. I was alone in our house because my parents were abroad for some business trips.

I went directly to my room and remove all the clothes I worn. I took a bath and brushed teeth after. I already ate outside with Tin, so all I have to do now is to study those lessons which I didn't get and do some assignments.

I didn't realized that I fell asleep 'till I felt that soft wet marshmallows on my neck.

I groaned when it slightly sucked some part of the skin on my navel.

A warm big and hard thing was continuously caressing my tummy. I groaned again when I felt it inside my shirt, almost reaching my underboob.

“Wake up, beautiful.” Someone whispered on my ears, it tickles that's why I immediately opened my eyes.

His dark hooded eyes immediately met mine. My eyes dropped on his smirking lips and down on his palms inside my shirt.

The image of Tin telling me about Daryl crossed my mind that's why I unknowingly pushed him away from me.

“How did you enter?” I asked.

I looked at my surroundings, seeing my messy study table and pens on the floor. I bended to get them, making him whistle.

“What?” I asked frowning.

His smirked widen and slightly glancing on my bum. I immediately rolled my eyes and pulled his ears.

“Awww!”

“Pervert!” I said.

I was wearing my nighties because I never thought he will come here. It is a bit lose that's why it fell from time to time.

“I'm innocent.” He said, almost a whisper.

“How did you get here? I locked the door.” I asked in curiosity.

“Balcony was open.” He said, a bit serious now.

He stood up and went over my balcony and locked the sliding door. He turned to look at me with his authoritative aura, making me close my mouth.

“You should lock it every time. Don't be too confident. There are lots of criminals and stalkers out there.” He said.

'You're the only criminal and stalker here,' I wanted to say but I hold myself from talking.

“Aye Captain. So what are you doing here?” I asked again.

He come closer to me and pulled me for a hug.

“We didn't meet at school today.” He whispered on the top of my head.

I am smaller, the top of my head only reaches on his chest.

“I saw you in the court. They were teasing every time I look, what have you told them, hmm?” I asked.

He withdraw from hugging me and cupped my face. I looked like a pumpkin from this position, argh.

“That doesn't matter. Why are you so beautiful?” He whispered looking at the very inch of my face.

I smirked, though it can't be seen because he's cupping my face. It's weird in a sense that he's too sweet but his face looks so stoic and dark.

Night Daryl Kwon. He's in his last year in our University. One of the richest student. Full package; wealthy, handsome, Dean's lister. He's my best friend and...yeah, we are ONLY best friends.

But damn, why does that fact hurts a lot?

Is it bad to fall in love with the guy in front of me? Is it bad to fall in love with my best friend?

Right, another cliché love story of two friends but damn it, this is obviously one sided.

I removed his hands on my face. If he continue to do this, I might fall so hard.

“Now that you saw me, you can go now.” I never intended to make it sound so bitter but I did.

He didn't utter a word, instead he dropped himself on my bed and sniffed my pillows.

“I will sleep here,” he said.

“Tssk.” I just replied and went over the small refrigerator on my room to get some fresh milk.

“Go home now, I will sleep.”

After drinking a glass of fresh milk, I went to him and pulled his arms to stand up.

“Come onnnn!” I said trying to pull him up.

But damn he's too heavy!

“Don't you want me to stay with you for a while?” He said pouting.

I stopped for a bit, my heart is again beating abnormally. Damn this guy, he's too good at making me fall so deep for him.

“Daryl! We both have classes tomorrow!” I hissed.

“Okay..okay..” He whispered weakly.

I relaxed because he agreed on my decision. But when he only sit, unmoving on my bed. I gave him a warning look.

“What?”

He smirked.

“Kiss me first, then I'll go home.”
