Contract Signed
"Hello, Mr. Damon? This is Alice. I'm at your gate."
There was a pause on the other end of the line before he responded in his emotionless voice. "Very well. I'll have the gatekeeper let you in."
Alice waited nervously as the gate slowly creaked open. She stepped inside and was immediately struck by the beauty of the building before her. The mansion was a stunning example of modern architecture, with clean lines and sleek glass walls that gleamed in the sunlight. The landscaping was immaculate, with perfectly manicured lawns and colorful flowers.
As she walked towards the entrance, Alice couldn't help but feel a sense of awe. She had never seen a house as beautiful as this one. The sheer size and grandeur of the building were breathtaking. It was clear that no expense had been spared in its construction.
A a tall, imposing figure stepped out. It was Damon's gatekeeper, a burly man with a stern expression. He motioned for Alice to follow him, and she obediently fell into step behind him.
As they made their way through the house, Alice couldn't help but marvel at the opulence of her surroundings. The interior was just as impressive as the exterior, with soaring ceilings and marble floors. The walls were adorned with priceless works of art as they approached the entrance door.
Alice hesitated as she stood at the doorstep of Damon's house. She had never been to his place before, and the thought of being alone with him made her uneasy. But she had no choice. Damon had summoned her, and she couldn't afford to lose her job by not coming.
As she rang the doorbell, her heart raced with anxiety. The door opened, and Damon appeared, looking as imposing as ever.
"Come in," he said, gesturing for her to enter.
Alice stepped inside, taking in the opulent surroundings. The house was massive, with marble floors and expensive artwork adorning the walls. She felt out of place in her simple dress.
Damon led her to the living room, where he sat down on a leather couch. Alice stood awkwardly, unsure of what to do.
"Sit down," Damon said, his voice cold and commanding.
Alice sat down on a nearby armchair, feeling small and insignificant.
"His eyes fixed on her. "And I've come up with a proposal which I told you about yesterday."
Alice felt a knot form in her stomach. She had a feeling she wasn't going to like what he had to say.
"I want you to be my girlfriend," Damon said, his lips curling into a smirk.
Alice's eyes widened. "Sir…" she exclaimed.
"You heard me," Damon said, his tone becoming more forceful. "I want you to be my girlfriend. And not just any girlfriend. A contracted one. That means you'll be at my beck and call, whenever I want you."
The idea of being Damon's girlfriend was repulsive to her.
"I don't know what…" she said, her voice trembling. "I don't think that's a good idea."
Damon's expression darkened. "What do you mean, you don't think it's a good idea?" he growled. "You'll do as I say, Alice. You're my employee, and you'll do whatever it takes to keep your job."
Alice felt tears well up in her eyes. She hated how Damon treated her, like she was nothing more than a piece of property. But she had no choice. She needed this job to support herself and her little sis.
"Okay," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "I'll do it."
Damon's face lit up with a cruel smile. "Good," he said. "I knew you'd see things my way."
She had just made a deal with the devil, and she knew it was only a matter of time before things went horribly wrong.
While Alice continued to sit nervously, her boss Damon towering over her. She had just agreed to be his contracted girlfriend, a decision she now regretted. She had thought it was a way to secure her job and financial stability.
Damon leaned over her, his cold eyes piercing into her. "I hope you understand the terms of our agreement, Alice," he said, his voice low and menacing.
"Here is the contract. Sign it." He said and handed over a sheet of paper to her with a pen. She collected, read it and then signed on it.
Her heart was racing. She had read the contract and signed the contract, but now she felt like she had missed something crucial.
"Good," Damon said, straightening up. "Because if you fail to meet any of the terms, there will be consequences."
Alice felt a chill run down her spine. She had never seen Damon like this before. He was always cold and calculating, but now he seemed downright dangerous.
"I won't fail," she said, trying to sound confident.
Damon smirked. "We'll see about that," he said, before turning and walking out of the room.
Alice sat there for a moment, trying to collect her thoughts. She had made a deal with the devil, and now she had to live with the consequences. She had to act like Damon's girlfriend in public, attend events with him, and even sleep with him if he demanded it despite her being a virgin.
She felt weird at the thought of being intimate with him. He was cruel and heartless, and the idea of being with him made her skin crawl. But she had no choice. She needed this job, and she needed the money.
As she sat there, lost in thought, she heard Damon's voice again. "Alice, I need you to come with me to a business dinner tonight. Dress nicely and be ready by 7 pm."
Alice nodded, feeling a sense of dread wash over her. She knew what was expected of her at these events, and it made her sick.
After that, they concluded their conversation and it was time for her to leave and make her way home to get ready, she couldn't shake the feeling that she had made a terrible mistake. She had sold her soul to the devil, and now she was trapped in his world.
Suddenly, she got a credit alert. She realized Damon had sent her $10,000 already as part of the payment.
